For some reason I lost all power to my Sonos system. 
had to unplug it and wait for 10 second to get it to work. 
why would this happen. It’s a brand new system 

Seems odd. Was it only the Sonos speakers that lost power? How did you determine that it was the speakers, and not the network that lost power? 


The whole system was powered off. It didn’t show up in the app until I unplugged it and plugged back in. 
once I did that everything Worked again. 
thought maybe I could power up in the app or reset it in the app but it didn’t even show up there 

 


That suggests a disconnect with your router more than a power outage on the speakers. Did you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it?

 


I didn’t as it says only do that if requested on app. Also not sure when it powered off ?
