Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have the new Samsung S25 Ultra and running app version 80.16.32. I also have an S23 Ultra that I getting ready to trade in that is running the same app version. When I open my Sonos app, the recently played items at the top flash very briefly with what I have played, but then they go blank. I cannot tap on any of them and I cannot seem to find a way to get them to display. Is anyone else having this issue, or had it and resolved it?Thanks for any help.

No change in devices but no longer see Atmos in Now Playing on the Sonos app. I can get Multichannel PCM but no Atmos. My Apple TV 4K device used to see a separate Living Area set of speakers as an audio choice. Now I only see the Apple TV. When I select that option all I get is AirPlay, no Atmos. Apple told me to contact Sonos. Sonos chat support no help. Recommendations?

Can I get a discount if I upgrade old speakers for the latest ones

It’s obvious that SONOS doesn’t has the awareness let alone the knowledge / experience to understand that home and business networks are increasingly more complex and thus are on a rapid pace to make themselves irrelevant in the market.  Privately, professionally and for my clients we’re no longer recommending Sonos. Not until segmented VLANS are supported via an advanced configuration option. There is NO technical excuse why this couldn’t / shouldn’t be made to work. 

Hey everyone - I have a pretty old Samsung TV (UA46C7000) that doesn’t support eArc, it does have an Arc port but it only outputs PCM.I’ve been using the Xiaomi MI Box Gen 2 and I’ve connected it to the Sonos Beam usingand optical cable. This give pretty bad results as the sound is metallic at times and is in stereo.I’ve seen loads of good reviews on the Arcana being able to convey Dolby Atmos to the Beam. Does anyone have any experience with this specific setup? (Mi box → Arcana → Beam).Will it work seemlessly? Perhaps there’s a cheaper solution that’s I’m not aware of?Many thanks!

After two calls and several hours on the phone with Sonos, I cannot connect the library to Sonos S1. Sometimes Sonos doesn’t find the existing system and posts a firewall problem. There is no firewall.I have made Music folders shareable, granted Sonos full disk access, and rebooted everything.Has anyone found the magic settings to make the system work? If so, please share. 

Still missing the alphabetical jumplist sidebar when trying to search artists in My Library essentially rendering app useless.  I’m not gonna scroll for 5 minutes to get to Yo La Tengo.  Please figure this out sooner than later.  App has been FUBAR for quite a bit.  Any fix on horizon?

I cannot believe that the app has still not resolved basic functionality and is so slow in response times. I am sick to death of apologists telling me it's my connectivity. It is not; Sonos seem prioritising rollingout new features as pose to resolving essential issues such as stop, start, volume variation etc. Luckily I still managed to protect the old app on my PC, and this works like clockwork. However, the moment I use the new app you want to smash your he'd against a wall after 5 minutes waiting for it to respond. I would ask that the Sonos plants in these threads don't start telling it's my wifi. It isn't.

I setup my Era 100 speakers using the Sonos app on my iPhone. I bought them to use to play sound on my iMac computer that I just purchased.  How do I set them up for use on my iMac?

I have a turntable/record player connected to one of my Sonos Era 100 speakers. The connection is through a RCA/3.5mm cable + Sonos line-in adapter. I’ve managed to get it working with the single Sonos speaker. But when I try to set up the speaker with another Era 100, as a stereo pair the output from the record player stops working. I’d like to be able to use my speakers in common way, through my phone/laptop but also connected to the record player. Is it possible to play the output from the turntable in stereo mode? 

Left speaker is working fine but right speaker is flashing green and not playing. How do I get it to play again? Thanks- 

I have client that has a sonance 8 channel amp. We want to hook his TV up to the amp for the speakers. How can we do this? The tv is outside so we can't run an Hdmi and he doesn't want a sound bar. I was told that he could get an audio video receivers that can work off the tv through blue tooth. But not sure. Does anyone know how this can be done. Thanks Jeff Sequeira 

So my ERA 300’s will be here tomorrow and plan on replacing my 2 IKEA SYMFONISK.My question is once setup as a surround, if I press the Bluetooth button does it automatically allow me to use as Bluetooth or is there more to do in app? thanks in advance

I have a Sonos system that consists of two Play:5 (Gen 2) speakers, two One (Gen 2) speakers, and five One (Gen 1) speakers.The two Play:5 speakers are in a stereo pair and are connected to an Ethernet port in my wall that runs to a UniFi switch.The Sonos system is on a VLAN that is separated from other VLANs in my network via firewall rules.  The devices (phones and laptops) that run the Sonos apps are on their own VLAN.My Sonos system generally works well in this setup and always has.  Occasionally, it seems slightly slow or it loses connection to a Plex server on another VLAN.  Also, when I install an update via the Windows app, I always get a message that says the update failed, even though it actually succeeded.  But generally speaking, I don’t have any major issues.I’ve allowed all of the ports listed on https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/configure-your-firewall-to-work-with-sonos through my firewall rules, except for the Windows Media Sharing UDP ports, as I’m not doing any

I have the Sonos Arc and Sub Gen3 and I would like to wall mount the Arc under my tv. TV is an 85” Sony and is hung on the wall with a fully articulated mount. The tv does not sit flush on the wall - it is 6 inches out from wall to the front of the tv. If I use the Sonos Arc mount or equivalent after market, the Arc will be almost flush with the wall and ‘under’ and not in front of the tv, even though I plan to mount 4” to 5” below the tv. Seems like the upwards firing speakers would go into and into the gap behind the tv.Does this pose any issues with sound quality or sound bar functionality? Does the Arc need to come out off the wall and be “in front of” the bottom edge of the tv! If yes, am I better off getting a scissor style mount for it (Sanus Extendable Sound Bar Mount) or mounting a floating shelf? I don’t really want to see the mount or wires - I already have a cable management kit for it, but really want to put the sound bar so far off the wall that yo can see the outlet and

I have a problem, as soon as I listen to a song and I want to turn on the radio linked to this song, the radio titles change every second without having time to listen to them.

As in the subject, I have a spotify Premium Duo Account.Sonos in logged with user1, if I start streaming a Playlist from Spotify user1, every goes fine except that if I start listening with same user1 from another device, Sonos stops playing.Sonos neetwork is 4 Symfonsyk speakers Secondly, if the I starts streming a spotify user2 playlist, the streaming is interruptes ciclically by spotify advertisements like a free account). Hi All, This seems to be a bug in the latest Sonos Update.it is really annoying as it defeats the purpose of having Sonos, it normally works fine on any station saved to My Tuner Radio (including BBC stations).All stations won’t play, it seems other users have the same fault. I have tried all the usual stuff (uninstall/reinstall the app, remove and add myTuner Radio as a service), fault remains.Sonos please supply a fix in next update so I can play a radio station via MyTuner Radio.Please help Urgently!Thanks, KJ

Ce serait intéressant d’avoir une option rapide sur une télé commande Sonos ou même via l’application pour basculer entre le mode surround et le mode stéréo. I have a Beam connected to my Apple TV with ARC. The Apple TV is connected to the router via ethernet. It plays on my LG TV.I set the Beam to be the default audio output but it keeps changing back to the TV speakers. It changes when I turn the TV off and on and sometimes it changes when I choose a different channel. Quite annoying. Any ideas?
