Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hello. I have connected 2 ERA100 via Bluetooth to my Halo+ Xgimi projector. Sound is not stable and is breaking up. I tried with my Move2 and it works fine. But with the ERA100 it doesn’t work properly as if there was some micro cuts all the time.

My Move is totally unresponsive on the app - just says it is powered off which means I cannot use it.I have rebooted twice and added it back to the network which it says has been done yet the app still keeps saying the same thing - that it is powered off.Rebooted router and also turned iPhone on and off….made no difference. Can only use it as Bluetooth.I have had a long chat with help desk and their conclusion was it is my Sky broadband boosters causing the issue.My Era 1 and Play 1 work fine and are stable and the Move (whilst being the most temperamental speaker - dropping in and out) has been ok for +2 years.How can this suddenly be a Sky Booster issue.To be honest I have not been happy with the Move since I bought it - it just keeps dropping off the network and now seems to have completely locked.Anybody else having similar issues? 

when i use napster directly i see all the pink floyd lps  when using napter in sonos mnost of the lps are not available ...why?

Hi, can anyone walk me through the process of setting up my new Arc with my 2x Play 1 for surround sound? I can’t see the Arc in the s1 app and I can’t see the play 1’s in the new Sonos app. Any help greatly appreciated, I just assumed this would all work together but it’s a bit of a mess! thanks Rich

My Sonos ARC will not lower the volume.  I have a Samsung MU800 D and the Sonos Arc has sound limit at 1% and tv limit at 1 and is still too loud.    I have set eq settings to minus level as well.  I also reboot the Sonos Arc by turning power off/on.  Nothing fixes the fact the volume is too loud. 

I cannot find info on if Sonos plans for the Ace Headphones to be supported on the Sonos network. Is this planned?I am aware of the connectivity with the sound bars.My ulterior motive is feeding music to the headphones from my Brennan B2 and doing so with the same control and convenience as my other Sonos speakers. 

I have the Ray Soundbar and was able to find Radio connections. Everything works. But how can I connect my IPhone Mediathek with Sonos. Both systems are in the same W-LAN

I seem to have done a lot of ‘updates’ recently but my Music Library still shows every track as an album under the ‘Albums’ selection.Have I missed something recently in the app updates? It never did this but for the cataclysmic new app problems. 

Looking for some guidance or ideas the best way to utilize all of my products. I have a beam (Gen 1) mounted under my tv in living room, 2 era 100 mounted on either side of couch used as surround. I was just gifted an era 300.  Best way to use them together, certain way of grouping/zone setup? I was thinking maybe just use era 300 as a line in for my turntable for the time being until upgrade beam or get another 300 to swap the 100 surround. Ideas?

Beam (Gen 2) recently stopped connecting with TV. When I try and reconnect, it says there is another home theatre device that must be disconnected from the TV. Only the Beam is attached by HDMI, there is an RF aerial and that's it.Bluetooth headphones and TV remote are the only other connections to the TV.TV is a Sharp Aquos TVE-19G.Any ideas welcome: I tried Sonos chat, which suggested a few things most of which I’d already tried (rebooting both devices, e.g.) and it has failed three times to pass me to a real person.Thanks,AB

The search function in the Sonos app used to search and provide results for all linked streaming services. Since the last update, it seems I must first choose just one service and then search the chosen service; otherwise the app seems to think I’m searching for the name of a service, not an artist, track or album.Is this a new ‘feature’ (i.e., another loss of a previously available function) or am I doing something wrong?

Since yesterday there is not way to connect to these services. I keep getting errors that the service is not available or that sonos radio cannot beplayed. also I tried to reauthorize the accounts and I get a generix error. Any ideas ?

My sonos was working fine with upgraded sonos firmware in sonos play:1 system but it stopped working sometime back. Here are the things i tried to fix it:Reset the sonos play:1 Turn of power supply → press play button & volume up together (> & +)→ Turn on power supply → hold until it reaches permanent green light. Reset the sonos S2 app. Go to profile → App Prefrences → Reset App Set up the sonos again after above 2 options using Ethernet Cable. Setup done sucessfully over Ethernet but when Enabled the Wireless Network in App, it didn’t ask for credentials. Also when tried to locate the Sonos Product in App it wasn’t able to find it. Went through following page which didn’t help much but atleast one comment caught my eyes “the WiFi network though needs to be 802.11b/g/n compatible with security mode WPA-2 personal and the Sonos mobile controller device needs to meet these system requirements…” Also few comments suggested to downgrade Play:1 and try with S1 OS and APP. Now

Can anyone help me to answer my questions?1.  I subscribe to Amazon music unlimited and can access numerous community created playlists which I can cast to Sonos however, when I use the search function within Sonos (Amazon is the preferred service) using an Amazon playlist title, no results are returned.2.  When I cast to Sonos from the Amazon music app, do I receive the same audio quality as if I was streaming directly through Sonos? Thanks  

Hi, I used to use my Sonos all the time and it all made sense.    If I have a heap of music downloaded onto my iPhone in Apple Music how do I play it on my Sonos these days?Any help would be appreciated.It’s not an advanced setup, but starting a topic is hard enough.  Here’s some feedback: this site used to be easy to use! T  

I have a problem which seems to have come out of nowhere - the Sonos App won’t let me play music (from Spotify), only Alexa. When I click on “Play” the tab just keeps circling and the room I’m trying to play it in shows “no content” (screenshot attached)Is there something simple I need to do to rectify the problem? 

I have a Bluetooth turntable that i wish to try connect to my existing Beam. Was thinking of making this connection using the Beam’s supplied optical adapter, connected to a Bluetooth adapter’s optical port. The Beam,s HDMI port is listening for an ARC feed; just wondering if the above will work.  

Hello Sonos Community!  I have a Play 1 that I have had for years and is part of a stereo pair.  For some reason, the Play1 will not power up when I plug it in or do a factory reset.  In other words, the white light does not come on nor does it blink.  I tried a different power cord (with the same receptacle), tried different outlets, etc.  I just purchased a pair of Era100 and ready to get it set up to replace the Play1.  Is there any hope for this Play1?  Any repair options?  Recycle time?  I have Sonos products throughout our home and they are great!  But do these products have a life span?  I also might mention that this Play1 has not been damaged, subjected to abuse, exposure to liquids, etc.  Hope all this makes sense.  Thanks!

Today one of my speakers stopped playing music. I managed to connect it again but it wouldn’t allow me to add it to the existing room. I went around in circles trying everything I could find on the forums and then followed these steps.Factory reset both speakers Added the first one to the new room Added the 2nd speaker to the new room After this step there is only 1 speaker in the room When you select setup a stereo pair this screen displays and the product can’t be found: When I go to the App Both speakers exist in other settings, e.g.  I can locate them in the settings to update the Network (they update fine and are both on the same network).I still have the problem with only 1 speaker working and not being able to add a pair.When I select I don’t see my product, it asks me to factory reset them again, which I have done 5 times now.The other issue is that neither is showing up in Spotify (and music is only coming out of the one speaker when you use spotify from within the Sonos app).

How to connect Era 100 to Samsung Freestyle?

At present, I have the following products, in one room, presently consisting of two groups that was I believe bonded remotely by Sonos. The main purpose is for Home Theater purposes. I am currently able to maintain full fidelity including Atmos I have, presented by relevant “group” _group 1_____1 arc ultra ( connected via e-arc- into tv) ETHERNET 2 era 300 ( rear surround )  (½ ETHERNET)1 gen 4 sub (Ethernet)__group 2_________1 Sonos amp (connected wirelessly) (ETHERNET)2 era 100 ( surround )2 wired floor speakers (beside tv)1 gen 4 sub (ETHERNET)___group 3____ 2 era 300 stereo pair. (ETHERNET) I purchased another amp because I thought it might be necessary for full fidelity to add the 300s as stereo but I wasn’t able to add it into the app I just had to pair them as a stereo set. I purchased $300 of cable to experiment if things are better and Sonos can bond all three groups… But I don’t know I am so frustrated at Sonos support, I just spent money because I couldn’t get consistent ans

Since SONOS really messed up with the new APP and since they are supposedly working on it all the time to improve it - I have a strong suggestion, great idea and question for SONOS. Why don’t you add volume control from an iPhone volume buttons back into the SONOS APP???? Just like in the old SONOS APP that worked fine, and in the award winning Spotify APP & Service - you should let users control the volume of their SONOS system by using the volume controls on the mobile device (i.e. iPhone). That is so much easier that trying to slide the slider, etc! In fact, I more often use the Spotify APP to play my music than the SONOS APP because of this feature.Since there are so many features and setup options in the APP - you should allow the user to chose if they want to control volume by iPhone volume buttons or not!You’re welcome of the great idea - please email when you add the feature!! Can’t wait!!

I have a 11 sonos devices, Sonos One x3, era 100 x2, Five, Beam Gen1&2, Arc, Sub Gen3 x2.  I’ve never had any issues over the last 4 years. 3 days ago I had a new wifi connection and router installed.  The difficulty I have had trying to get them all onto the new network/ wifi is utterly ridiculous. I contacted Sonos and they said connect one speaker to the router with an Ethernet, which I’ve also seen mentioned on here. Doing so, got all the products back online but there is no way of inputting the new WiFi details name, password etc.  the app only gives the option to begin setting each device to the network separately. However, this simply fails every time I attempt it and when I remove the Ethernet cable, the entire system goes off line. I would simply keep the Ethernet cable connected to the router but I need them to hardwire wifi to 3 tvs and a Philips hue bridge.  can anyone help?? 🙏
