Just installed latest app on android and am unable to find tone controls, I keep reading 'navigate to settings-system-product' but there is no 'system' option in settings

@SteLin66

On the app, go to Settings →  Room/Speaker name] and scroll down to EQ.

Thanks, tried that, just not there

Can you post a screenshot of what you see when you are in the room/speaker’s settings?

@SteLin66

Tap “Living Room Play:1”. You should be able to then scroll down to EQ.

Sometimes it occurs me, only wait (like a minute lol) or close (well) the app and open it again

Steps to try if picking Setup, a Room and scrolling down to Sound isn't working.

Verify all Sonos and controller are on the latest version.

Reboot all Sonos and Controller or force stop the App.

I uninstalled the app, installed a previous version, all good 👍

I've just bought the Beam and am having the same problem, even after restarting the app and clearing its cache. No EQ settings. The only solution given here is to install an old version of the app, but that's not satisfactory as it suggests the problem will reappear with every update.

The EQ settings are not universally missing from the current app, but for whatever reason, the app can sometimes fail to load the EQ option in the room’s settings.

A fresh install of the current app should be sufficient, rather than a previous version, which is likely to ask for updates since it is not the latest version.

Desktop apps can still do it:

Thanks. I’ve found the desktop app will consistently show the tone controls and now this option sometimes (maybe half of the time) appears in the mobile app...
