I want to buy Sonos Arc. I have a TCL 98C735 (98 inch) . I want to make sure that whem i will connect the arc hdmi. I will be able to operate the volume through the tcl remote. It is crucial for me to use one remote with out an app and without the sonos remote.I talked with technical support and they say the best way to check it is to ask in this forum users that have tcl tv and see if it works for them.
Super duper frustrated with Sonos. Based on ads and some and reviews over many years it seemed like I was buying into a high-quality system “that just worked”.NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.After trying for a couple hours to add a second Play 5 (gen 1) to my system (after a few months ago having lots of issues with that first Play 5), and getting it (mysteriously) to work (for about an hour), the Android app LOST ALL MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION. My Youtube Music and Spotify disappeared, listen history disappeared. And the original Play 5 disappeared. WTF? And yes, I’m sure I am signed into my account.Good grief. So now I am trying to add back YouTube Music, Spotify, and the original Play 5 (gen 1), and I get to that page that says “press and release buttons simultaneously”...I do that, hear the chimes, and then NOTHING.Sure would be nice if that page in the app told you what to expect next. Another tone? The light to flash a different way? A subsequent page/instructions in the
I have been using my play:5 for many years, successfully connecting to different networks. we have moved into a new house and we have a 5g wireless router for our internet. It seems the sonos is having trouble connecting but I don’t get any clear definitive error messages. the network and password is correct.Help says I should adjust my router settings, but to what? any help much appreciated
So I recently completed my sonos surround. I have the Arc, era 300's in rear and dual subs. I was only using one sub but bought the second one to "finish" the system. I haven't noticed anything great with the second sub? I tuned the system with trueplay but the bass sounds ehhhh. On the app I have to turn the sub limit to plus 8 to get anything out of it. Is this normal? I see all the great reviews with dual subs, but I'm either missing something or have a settings issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the full sonos theater set up. Arc, era 300's, dual subs. Playing music through this sucks. The Arc can't hang with the era 300s and in settings you csn use a slider for surround (different for TV and music) but then it distorts the audio b/c Arc is still playing main channel. Is there an easy way to maybe ungroup the system and regroup era 300s and subs only for music? Or can Sonos make the slider for the Arc itself vs the surrounds and have the ability to quiet the Arc when music is playing?
I need to connect my playbase to a new wifi network in a new flat. Its failing to connect. If I could remember correctly, the playbase only connects on 2.4GHz but my wifi has the same SSID for both 2.4 & 5 GHz. Is there any way to connect it without having to split up the SSIDs? I don’t want to use sonosnet as the wifi singal doesn’t reach everywhere and I’ll already need to get a mesh system. I’ve also had issues with sonos net in the past and since switching to my routers wifi, everything was working fine (at the old place)
Hello,I would like to wall mount my pair of SonoS 300 as surround. The couch is attached to the wall. The distance from listeners ears are 170cm on the side and “ear hight”.Please suggest me the best “facing “positioning:-parallel to the TV wallor-lightly inclined towards the listener (in this case the inner drivers will make the sound bounce to the wall before reaching the listeners ears). thank you
I think I already know the answer to this: NONaievely, I added a Mini Sub to my Gen 2 Beam thinking that’s all I needed to upgrade my tv viewing experience. The Beam is connected directly to the TV via HDMI eARC.Here’s me thinking that the Beam could project wirelessly to the Mini Sub, but now that I write this all down I beginning to see how silly that is.So the next question is: what component am I missing to make this all work?To make matters more difficult, when the house was being built, I was able to run the cabling in wall to keep things clean from the tv to the sub. i’ve got a cabinet underneath with cabling from tv to PS5 so i could run extra cable but damn these activities are fiddlyPhoto is TV/Beam/Cabinet with Mini Sum elsewhere in room
I am replacing a connect with a port and I have several Sonos playlists on the connect that i o works like to transfer to the port. The connect is an older generation that runs on the S1 controller. I don’t they are linked to a music folder, I think they are streaming playlists from Apple Music but not stored on the Apple Music app but the Sonos app. Is there an easy way to transfer them? I have both still connected on the same network.
Boy am I confused! Here is my story:I want to buy a Sonos ARC and a new Sony OLED TV.I want to get rid of my existing 13 year old Pioneer receiver which is powering a Paradigm Millenia 5.1 speaker system. The Paradigm system has:5 satellite speakers. I use 3 for Front, Center, Left and 2 for Rear surrounds.I don’t want to spend any extra $s on new surrounds or a subwoofer.I also have 2 Sonos Connect Amps (the original ones). Is there a way to combine the following into a new system:ARCConnect ampsSome or all of the Paradigm satellites and the powered sub.I hope I have made myself clear.
i cannot seem to get the sonos to connect to the iphone on bluetooth. i do not know what to do.
Been using Sonos Arc for close to a month and just today morning heard the infamous popping sound! Setup - Sonos Arc connected to LG C2 to HDMI 2 port [eARC], content via Apple TV. Restarted the TV and everything worked fine but I am wondering if this is going to be on going pain? Just few days back picked up a Sonos Sub Mini and I am really worried! Sonos team/ community, thoughts? Please note - PS5 is connected to the TV too, but wasn’t used to pay content.
I ordered the proprietary (and seemingly required) SONOS brand 3.5mm to USB C dongle to connect a turntable to the Era 300 on 4/19/23 and still haven’t received it! Meanwhile, the ‘expected to ship date’ on the item’s page keeps moving back. Has anyone else encountered this and heard back from customer service with any informarion?
So I wanted to play my decks but coming through the Sonos throughout my house and as I’m sure everyone’s aware it’s been said it’s impossible, however I’ve found a way!!! so connecting the decks to the Sonos Ray which has a optical input so you’ll need a rca cable splitter to optical ( this connects the decks to the Sonos ray ) now with this set up there is a delay from the decks headphones and the Sonos playing .so to sort this you’ll need to purchase a lip sync corrector And a aux to rca cable x 2 of these When that’s connected I found my deck headphones where super quite so I bought an amp to make them louder . so from the decks to the Sonos ray is rca to optical leadand to sort the delay is a aux to rca cable plugging into a lip sync corrector which then plugged into a headphone amplifier via rca to aux lead then plug your headphones into that Links below https://cpc.farnell.com/cyp/au-d18/lip-sync-corrector-adjustable/dp/AV21325https://cpc.farnell.com/pro-signal/psg3414/hi-res
I have a sonos one sl. I bought it 7 days ago and it stopped working. Could it be a recurring problem?

I have 6 Sonos devices in the house (3 Era 100, a Port, Arc and Sub Mini). Just want to use the SCV command play everywhere without playing to the Arc. Can do? The other night after play everywhere turned on the TV and TV audio was coming through the other speakers in the house, That shouldn’t happen.
Hi, I have bought a Sonos beam and I am confused on how to connect it both to my projector and TV at the same time (I use the TV in the day and the projector at night) at present I have an nvidia shield going to a hdmi splitter with 2 outputs, 1 to the projector and one going to the tv I have bought a sonos beam gen2 and i’m wondering how I should get the signal to it - should I add another splitter directly after the nvidia shield and connect that via hdmi to the sonos beam?
Moved from Canada to Mexico and Sonos was disconnected for about 2 months. When trying to setup my arc and mini sub again the Sonos app would advised there was no wifi when there definitely was. To fix this I ended up deleting the app completely from my iPhone and reinstalling it as well as disconnect VPN. It now recognized there was wifi and it connected with the arc but could not connect the sub mini. Tried factory reset as in previous posts and it worked however it would not pair with the arc. How I ended fixing it was deleting the mini sub from “Living Room” in the app and the reinstalling it back in that room. Everything works fine now. Hope this helps.
I bought some Sonos speakers last week and since that I encounter a strange issue I can’t figure out what causes it and how to make it stop. For the record, I use Spotify as music streaming service. The issue I have is that when I start to stream music in my car or phone it automatically changes to the speakers in my home. I’ve grouped 3 of the speakers as one group and one is separate. It always transfers the music to the grouped speakers. The odd thing is that I get the music to right unit, like when I’m in my car driving but after a couple of minutes it transfers the music to the speakers at home. If I redirect it back to the car it works fine, for a couple of minutes then it transfers it back to the speakers at home again.I never had this issue before and this started to happen as soon as I bought my Sonos speakers.
I want to find out if there are any streaming devices that will provide Atmos sound over my second generation beam without having to purchase a pass-through device. I made the mistake of getting the Apple TV not knowing that it requires the earc input to get Atmos without some secondary device like the HDfury. Are there any devices like the Nvidia shield or something else that will play Atmos quality sound with a tv that has only arc, not earc?
Hi. I’ve had an S1 system for over a decade (3x S5 gen1, Amp and Connect) and it generally worked fine. Over the years I’ve subscribed to (legit) Napster, Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music and Deezer. Plus BBC Sounds and a few other services without issue. Last night, we purchased our first S2 product, a Move. I removed all existing devices, reset them and, after setting up the S2 with Move, created a new clean S1 system. All of the devices are there, but the only thing I can connect to is Sonos Radio. If I click to add a music service I just get a spinning ball type icon (happy to share a screen grab if needed) and the app hangs. It responds fine if I select to add a voice system.I’ve obviously rebooted everything multiple times. I’ve reset the S1 app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it. On two iOS phones. Nothing works. There are no issues using the Move on the S2 app. All services are visible and available to add.I spent over an hour on Sonos chat and was ultimately told to call the UK
The rubber feet to my sub fell off. How do I glue them back on so that they stay on? This is the 2nd generation sub, I think. Thanks.
