 My arc, sub mini and era 300s have not been able to properly connect to the Sonos app or join the same room for months.  Arc alone can join but after that, the app or speakers encounter some issue or another and the process fails.  Again and again.  I have reset all speakers multiple times, reset each speaker multiple times, performed all app updates and individual speaker updates.  I have reset WiFi.  I have tried every possible permutation in a systematic manner to get the speakers to connect and join the same room.  No success.   SONOS, your system is an absolute dumpster fire.  Fix your system.  I cannot believe you are a public-traded company and still have these issues, months later.  Your speakers are just expensive, aesthetic paperweights.  It is completely unacceptable for a premium priced product.  Stop spending money on expensive marketing and advertisement.  Instead, refocus your efforts and exercise some humility in reverting your sys

Sonos, please tell us the plan and what you are doing everyday to make this work.My system can't be trusted anymore and I'm pissed at you for creating this problem for me and thousands of other loyal sonos customers.Please keep us informed on what you are doing to make it right!

Been struggling for a while connecting my Sonos 1 & 3 to the app . Sometimes they connect within a couple of attempts but most of the time I’m 20 - 30 mins trying to connect . Anybody have any fixes ?

My system completely bricked today, the DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING, and I am mad as hell!  I am surrounded by a house of SONOS products that do I not work! Whomever released this app and decided to release now should be fired.  Sonos, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Your company we went from a great company to a trash company within the span of a click. No longer a SONOS believer!

Everything connected by WiFi.  I have Apple Music and YouTube Music connected in the app. Recently Apple Music has essentially stopped working and as far as I can see from the other topics there is some issue related to the lossless support that was added by Apple. The app displays that it is playing a track, the lossless icon is present but no sound is played, it can play for a few seconds and then sound disappears. Hey everyone,My system is well connected to my WiFi. It shows all my speakers and surround in the app as being connected and available. But the app seems unable to actually send / play the music or any other service to the system. When pushing play the icon just kind of is on hold as if it’s trying to connect. i have updated the system and reconnected to my WiFi a million times now. what am I missing?? Greetings from Denmark🇩🇰

What do you guys think about the sound quality/ mastering of Qobuz comparing to Apple Music? I’d say Apple Music has that “pop” factor and has more of a punch for mainstream music - in short, “extra processed”. On the other hand, Qobuz’s is more towards the organic of the sound so on less bassy or critical listening tracks, the instrumental separation is more prominent compared to Apple Music.That is just my take. Please give me your opinions.

New to Sonos, trying to play music from android phone whilst using Samsung music - how?

Whenever I return home or after a period of time not using system sonos app will not load the system u til I turn wifi off and on again on my phone. Any ideas as to why this would happen and how to fix?

Since the rollout in May, I have consistently had problems switching radio stations using the phone app.About 80% of my listening is on about five radio stations. The rest Spotify, Sirius, etc. When changing from NPR to say, WXPN, it may take several minutes to get it to "catch" and make the switch. Thoughts?

I wanted to get this issue in as a fix request. I see another user posted the same issue, but it was “closed for further comments” In short, I have 2 separate systems; home and business. Every day when I come home or arrive at work, the app will say “system not found. Connect to local system”. It’s a pain, but even more than that, and it wasn’t mentioned in the other post, is that I actually have to log in with email and password every time to get all the features. And when I log in with my personal email at home, it connects both systems to my personal email. So that when I get to work, I have to log in with my work email, and it connects both to that email. Please make it easy and seemless to switch between multiple systems again

I went away for a few days.  On returning I opened the app. No "Sources" heading or list. Tried stopping and restarting the app a few times to no avail. The TV plays fine. Both sources are shown in the corresponding room details. App is Android. What is happening? 

I have 4 pairs of speakers around the house running on a nighthawk router.I’m able to listen to radio with iheart.I have music on my pc I want to listen to.I’m running Windows8.  I gave permission to Sonos to share the folder.  When I attempt to add it in the app, it won’t work.  913 I tried a zip drive into the router, but the router doesn’t see it.  WORST part about sonos is, it doesn’t work.

I recently upgraded to the new iPhone 16 and since then my Sonos system won’t work. The system can’t be found on the network or it will find some of the speakers, not all and then they all disappear. I did all of the troubleshooting- reboot router, delete & reinstall app, reboot speakers, factory reset on all speakers and then spent over 3 hours troubleshooting with Sonos tech support and still no resolve. Suggested I have internet provider split out internet but confirmed through router app that everything is on the same network. What am I supposed to do to resolve? Extremely frustrated. 

Hi Everyone, after another half day or more with Sonos Support (they tried but could not solve the problem of the again missing iTunes Library after the latest update), I thought I found a fix. Apparently, the computer's name should not include any hyphens for the official work around provided by Sonos. That was the only fix in my case to at least connecting, after receiving all sorts of 913, 1002, access denied errors when trying to re-add the Music Library on Sonoma, which had been broken after the most recent update.But then, after the library was indexing and updating, after a while an error message popped up that said that the location where the library was, is no longer available???When  nothing was moved and everything works on my Mac in the Music app. And the whole library disappeared from Sonos again. It is a riddle to me how an app can be created that only can “connect” to a local file and folder when a Windows sharing environment is enabled. Dear All,I would like to connect my favourite mobile phone app for podcast with my Arc. Unfortunatley Arc does not support Bluetooth. Now my question.Could I add e.g. a Move 2 to my environment (Move 2 is capable for Bluetooth), so using Move 2 I can connect via Bluetooth and playing my podcast via Arc and Move 2?Does this work? BRStefan

After S2 App update bombed out my library i have reconnected again.Here is how I did it using a Synology DS124 NAS.I followed instruction for SMB and shared folder settings at:In the NAS setup/admin:All the music files are in NAS shared folder \music. Installed the Synology “Media Server” app on the NAS and set SSDP advertisement interval to 10s to allow DLNA access to NAS.In the SONOS S2 App added the shared folder://192.168.50.4/music User is your NAS login username. Password is you NAS login password.Note use of “/” in IP address, not “\”.“192.168.50.4” is the IP address my router has allocated to the NAS. Using the NAS’s network name “Server Name” did not work. This might only be aimed at the S24 users, but any pearls of wisdom accepted.After three lengthy conversations with tech support without success, I still can't get the latest version of Sonos working on my S24. It installs OK, but crashes when you hit the open icon.I have tried just about everything possible, multiple reboots of phone, router, and anything else you can think of, without success. Sonos Tech support now advise the problem should be aimed at Samsung support 😡 as there is nothing wrong with the app.My question is..... has anybody else encountered this problem ?The S24 is running the latest update, One UI 6.1 version 14 or have set some security/privacy settings inadvertently that might stop the app from opening. The app runs fine on my IPad/Windows PC and previously my Samsung S20 plus, but will have nothing to do with my Newer S24 Ultra.I'm at a loss and tec support can offer no resolve.

 before Sonos updated the app in May, the stability and functionality was great. Since this update there has been lots of issues and some of them have been fixed and some have not and we’ve also talked about them on here.What is annoying is that all my album art that is stored on my local drive, is not showing from my NAS library and it used to work fine? It actailly works through Plex, but I prefer to use my own library, as I’ve got my own playlists that I’ve created over the years.

PROBLEM WITH ADDING BACK LIBRARY - AFTER AN UPDATE REMOVED IT!I’m trying to add my sonos music library back to sonos after an update removed it.  I’m adding from a NAS and get an error when trying to add it back saying no longer available.  If I split the music folder into very small chunks it will add without a problem.  Has anyone had the same?  The link below looks to be a similar issue:https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-and-music-services-229131/i-can-no-longer-add-full-music-library-only-20gb-of-125gb-6905469

Before the new app, I was able to listen to my home music library which was kept on a usb hard drive that was attached to a D-Link router. The music library is about 125 GB and consists of around 25,000 files (a mix of mp3 song files, as well as a few jpg for album art, plus each song had an .info file associated with it). Everything played well. I mostly avoided the debacle of the new app rollout as I disabled all software/firmware updates, but unfortunately a firmware update made it through anyway, so I had to update to the new app, rendering my music library unreachable; I believe the issue was the smbv1 was no longer supported with my router. So, I recently updated my router to a TP-Link that also had a usb port so I could continue using the external hard drive I had my music on. Hi,After upgrading to MacOS 15, the Sonos app running on my iMac will no longer access my music library (error 913). In a recent thread I described the issue I’d faced since “The Update” that prevented me from adding my music library, hosted on a Mac Mini, to an S2 system.
