Controllers and Music services

I Have been able, until very recently. been able to connect to classicfm on Tunin (https://www.classicfm.com/radio/) When I now try and connect I get an error message  “unable to play classicfm - the song is not encoded correctly”  Is there a change I can make to the settng to deal with this or is the problem that the station is now using an unsupported transmission format Any help would be appreciated PWR

sonos doesn't recognize me Spotify premium account. It does not let me play different music in different habitations, it tells me to update the plan, but it is already premium….

So until this week I could ask Alexa to "Play BBC Radio on Kitchen" - 'Kitchen' being a Sonos Play 3. Now that I have to go through BBC Sounds Alexa no longer recognises the command to play through the Kitchen speaker, so I am left listening to the radio on my tinny Echo Dot. Is this something Sonos can/are likely to fix?

I’m in the same boat as the poster in a previous thread here (unfortunately never received an answer). I’ve checked all the USB settings on the router side and everything looks normal, showing that USB is being shared. I’ve tried two different USB devices and the result is the same. How can I determine the correct path to enter into the Sonos app to get this set up as my Music Library? Thanks-

I've read a number of posts on this forum regarding Sonos no longer recognizing Apple Music (formerly iTunes) playlists. I've tried the suggested fixes, but still cannot see my music library or playlists from within the Sonos apps. Has Sonos made any official statement regarding the apparent incompatibility of macOS Catalina with Sonos? Just wondering whether Sonos has officially acknowledged the problem and has committed to fix it, or whether we are "on our own" regarding a fix. Thanks

Has anyone noticed that when you choose 'All Artist Tracks' from Amazon Music it only shows the first Album in the library, rather than all of them?

I’ve tried playing music in both Spotify connect and within the sonos app – both have the same issue where audio gets spotty and cuts in and out after ~7 seconds into the song.    the Sonos app cites slow internet as the issue but I assure you that’s not the case – I did a speed test and have download speeds of 275mbps   Diagnostic: 148978270

Hi I am having an issue where any new Apple playlist I create does not show up in the Sonos Controller. The odd thing is that if I delete a playlist, it removes itself from the list. It is only creating new ones that seem to not appear in the Sonos app. I have gone through the recommendations on this site that others have seemed to have tried but none of those checks worked. I have the following Iphone 11 Pro running IOS 13.2.3 Latest Sonos Controller App on Iphone Rebooted all Sonos Speakers (Just In case) Restarted Iphone Turned Apple Music Sync off and then back on (numerous times) Checked and reset preferences in ITunes on my Win10 Laptop   Thanks in advance Pete

Can anyone help? I have an Iphone 8 and an Ipad air - on the Sonos App on both devices it doesn’t give me the option to play music on this device - it only offers me radio or a streaming music service like spotify. I have searched forums but can’t find a solution Thanks

I have two Sonos Ones. Never had a problem until a week ago. Now when I play Spotify on my Samsung S9 and choose the Grouped Sonos devices to play through, it says "Connecting..." but never connects. If I then switch to the Sonos App it says "Last played in this room - Spotify" and under that it says Guest Account. This is despite me Removing the Spotify Account and adding it again. I can then play music via the Sonos App over the Sonos Ones. But I can't connect from the Spotify app, which I've also reinstalled.

Issue with Sonos App on iPad trying to access Spotify music. I get "Unable to play the selected item" whatever song I select on my daughter’s iPad. However, it works fine on my own iPad / iPhone. We have a family Spotify account and I am logged into the Sonos app on my daughter’s iPad. I have power cycled the WiFi router and all Sonos equipment several times and I have also disconnected the LAN cable to our Sonos Playbar but the problem persists. Please advise what to do.

Hej!    Har haft mycket problem med felmeddelande osv. Bytt kanal på mitt wifi till #6. Får dock fortfarande felmeddelanden och att sonos ibland hoppar över en köad låt! Vad ska jag göra, kan ni se vilken kanal som har minst brus på?

I use a Symfonisk speakers for its Airplay functionality, so that I can play direct from iTunes on my PC to my other Sonos speakers. It is relatively stable when I play from the PC to the speakers (Play Ones) closest to the PC. However, when I play to more grouped speakers, I get drop outs from speakers randomly and frequently. I can play from a NAS, hard drive, turntable, CD player, Tunein without any significant issue. But Airplay is a constant issue. I haven't had a single session where it hasn't dropped out. I live in a small flat/apartment. I've had to overcome poor wifi issues in the past. The block I live in is concrete built so not Sonos'best friend.        

It was working perfectly fine and now nothing. My office needs this to work and idk whats wrong 

Hi Connected to Apple Music account to Sonos. I have been searching in Apple Music by Artists no problem. Suddenly it won’t let me search for music by artist at all.  reconnected to Apple Music with Apple account through Sonos and now only my Apple Music library is all I can access?? Can someone help with this?  

When me and my partner separated we split all of our Sonos speakers, which I agreed to take while he started again with Google play. We are not in contact with anymore and I have 3 speakers all registered at my home, but under his name with no way of transferring ownership. I also don’t want to contact him at all - how can I transfer the ownership to me now?

Hi,   I have Play 1 speakers and a turntable with RCA line, phono and USB outputs.  I would like to connect the turntable to Play 1 speakers.  Speakers have no other inputs than via Wi-Fi.  Is there a way of doing it?   Thanks

We've had the Sonos players in the house for over 3 years and up until recently, I've had absolutely no problem accessing playlists under "my music" in Amazon using the Sonos App. Lately, however, for some of the playlists, but not all, the Sonos App will cycle for a long time and then deliver the message "unable to browse music"... What has changed in the connection with Amazon such that this would suddenly be a problem. Why does it happen for some of the playlists and not all of them?

I need to change the login details of my Spotify account as a connected service on the Sonos.  The current account is not a premium one (downgraded from premium to free and no longer works).   I (probably mistakenly) removed the service and re-added it, thinking it would prompt me to sign in with a new account, but it doesn’t prompt me with any login details and just says “Error.  Unable to add Spotify Account” when I tap on “Connect to Spotify”.I tried deleting the cache and user data in the Sonos app and restarted my device but it gives the same error.Android v10 Pixel 3Sonos App v10.5, Build 53270100 

When I add new music to Apple it doesn’t appear in recently added music on the SONOs app. I add the Apple Music through my Apple Music app on my iPad. This always worked but not now.

I have reauthorized and reloaded my Amazon Music Service and I still get the error message unable to play Amazon Music. Can anyone help?

When connecting to Sonos speakers using the Spotify App, there are a multitude of problems going on.  Volume control doesn’t work and if it does, it reverts back to the volume it started at eventually Lag in the Spotify app and on the speakers Pause/Play button is delayed by about 10 seconds Speakers cut in and out regularly and occasionally drop the music all together Ive read about interference or other issues, but I haven’t changed anything in my current homes set up and these problems started a few months ago. I am getting frustrated that the performance isn’t what it used to be.    I use a play 1 and play 3 in my kitchen and Living room, control with an iphone XR. All apps are updated.

Has anyone else experienced the error message “The channel does not exist (anymore)”. I am getting it on all channels on SiriusXM. I have reset my router, rebooted my phone and the message still shows. My SiriusXM works through their app but now through my Sonos. Thanks in advance for any help.
