Sonos, please bring back the iOS integration. I think it was removed 1-2 years ago. I really miss this feature. also, please update my misspelled title. I’m unable to!

Hi,This is just a bug report trying to raise awareness. Diagnostic code *********-new app 50% of the time does not think I have any Sonos system connected. Need to force close the app and reload when this happens. -new app does not appear to work with nugs.net at all. Had no issues in previous app. This is a huge issue for me.-removed android widget/notification widget which was useful. Bring this back-reduced ability to edit and add to queue freely, like adding a single podcast without switching to that podcasts feed after-removed sleep timer and other useful features it seems.  Sonos should consider this app a beta version and give people option to use this app or the old version. Failing that, we are all paying way too much to have this kind of forced regression. New UI is nice and more user friendly I think (not that I've been able to use it much with all the issues), but needs to be functional or there's no point. 

My set up is 1 x Play:3 hardwired creating a SonosNet with a number of Play:1/Sonos One dotted around the house.I have 2 x access points in the house for the S2 controller to connect to (same SSID etc.)I often get the following situation.  As an example, I’m playing music in the kitchen (this is the only room playing).  I open up the app to stop the music.  The app shows every other room and what was playing - that is you can see the album/radio station image - but the kitchen will be completely blank, so I can’t use the controls to stop the music.It can take up to 1 minute for the room to “kick in” so I can see the album/station and use the controls to stop the music.This isn’t restricted to the kitchen, it’s whichever room is playing.Anyone else seen this issue?  Any idea how to resolve?

I just installed the new iOS app. I’m able to connect to all of my services using the updated iOS app except for CBC Radio & Music.I have no problem connecting to CBC from the latest Sonos app on MacOS. Additionally, if I make the connection from MacOS, I can see and manage it from the new app on iOS.Any idea what’s going on?Thanks,John

I downloaded the ‘redesigned’ Sonos app and it can’t find my 2x S1, Boost and S3 devices. Factory resets allows them to be found but ‘there was a problem linking them to your account’. Using the old S1 legacy app tells me now I have to use S2. Basically I’m now unable to use Sonos. I am on iOS so I can’t download the old app. Can anyone help?

Can anyone from Sonos provide some information for those of us that have devices that can’t be used/connected because of the botched app update? 

I’m wanting to remove my Port from my setup as it is no longer being used for music playback and is just acting as an Ethernet to Sonosnet gateway.I disabled the automatic updates so am still using the 16.1 version of the app and matching firmware, so didn’t expect any issues adding a WiFi network. Unfortunately when trying to manage networks in the old app, it blocks and requires an app update to continue… but the latest app currently has no network management until some unknown time in the future. Am I really stuck and expected to have to keep the Port as a gateway until Sonos get round to adding network management to the latest app at some point in the future? My other Sonos devices aren’t in convenient locations to wire them back into my switch.  

I can no longer group an AirPlay enabled Sonos speaker with a non AirPlay enabled Sonos speaker.  I presume this is another drawback of the new app as I can still do this on my PC app which hasn’t been updated (and won’t be either!).  I know the app has not been Sonos’ finest hour but I haven’t seen this particular issue mentioned so I wanted it logged.  I don’t suppose there is any workaround until the app is replaced?

Taking away my ability to play my music library is a total failure when it come to you knowing your customers. I have two full surround set ups and play 1 in every room. I have always been a huge fan off SONOS. Ready to sell it all and move on. App sucks and the person responsible for the change should be fired 

When selecting the button “Join an existing system” I am unable to advance passed the following message: “Sonos needs local network access for setup. In iOS settings, tap Local Network, then return to the Sonos app.”   I have granted access to Local Network, Bluetooth, and Location.  I have deleted the Sonos app from my iPhone 14 Pro MAX, restarted my WIFI router and reinstalled the Sonos iOS app, and I have shutdown and restarted my iPhone 14 Pro MAX.  No Luck :( On my iPhone 14 Pro MAX the following Sonos System Settings section of the Sonos App reads:Nearby System: “Sonos system found on my {SSID} nework”  and the “Join this system” button is available.  When pressing this button the above message:“Sonos needs local network access for setup. Sonos Support,YouTube Music displays the first 100 albums only.Do we know when this will be fixed? There is a recommendation in another thread to remove and re-add the service, but that didn’t work.If I open YouTube Music in a browser, I can see all my albums. If my browser can do it, the Sonos app should also be able to.This is more critical after the latest update, as it is no longer possible to connect to a music library on a network drive.

since the app updated it is impossible to use my LINE-IN function … how can SONOS get it so wrong ?

Help please:My Sonos, since the update, will no longer “group” my One SL & Play 1.  Is this another thing that the update has wrecked and will this be remedied?

I have spent a lot of money on sonos products. The last update has made my investment almost worthless. My question is do I have any legal recourse? Any advice would be appreciated.

So all I can get with the new Web App is a nice note “Unsupported Screen Size” So very helpful.Why has Sonos decided not to share the minimum supported screen size with us users?Is there a better solution than trying to open the Web App on every device I own and seeing which ones are “good enough” and which aren’t?

Dear Sonos. We are proud Sonos users and have 8 Sonos products installed throughout our townhouse in Sydney. Everything working in harmony with the amazing Sonos Functionality until 4 days ago we updated to your latest app firmware update, and have had 4 days of utter “hell” with everything from incredibly slow reaction times to linking with Music through Spotify and SoundCloud. To randomTracks being dropped into and on top an already playing song. Separating speaker systems that have been melded with calculated intent. AND, have left a very lovely Sonos One that cannot be reconnected to the system. Your update is a FAIL. Be better SONOS! Get to work Fast, iron out the bugs, or else risking a long serving customer moving to a better and way more reliable product with an interface that actually works. Please respond promptly.As you tell from tone - Not Happy. Dan Freene

Hi from down under in New Zealand. I have now joined the chorus on the multiple issues with the latest controller. I am lucky if my controller (on my android phone) connects and when it does it loads up & moves as fast as a slug. Secondly, every 2nd or 3rd day it fails to connect and the only way i can gain access again is to to turn off/on my Sonos system and do a a reboot, and just to make it more challenging on some days after doing this i have to reboot my phone as well.Can we not just have the option to have the previous controller (which ran smoothly) as an option & when will these issues be sorted?Its driving me mad :)

I’ve spent about 3 hours trying to set up my Sonos One (the first Sonos product I’ve owned). I’ve created my account, gone into add speaker or component in the app and although my product is immediately found, I have not been able to setup my Sonos. I literally must have tried about 50 times.  I get to the chime part and get a message to say audio password didn’t work, so enter the pin from under the speaker. When I do that, it says ‘finalizing connection’ for a while before always ending up with a ‘Could not setup’ message. I’ve tried with three different phones!!! And I’ve even tried with the ethernet cable connected and it still doesn’t work. Any help/suggestions? Have I just got a dud one? I have tried customer support (in Australia) twice, but both times was on hold for ridiculously long times (1hr 50m the first time and 1 hr the second time). Both times I ended up having to hang up because I was going into meetings.  

The new app will not allow me to add a new speaker to the system". It keeps cycling to allow Sonos to network. Sonos is checked and already accessible to the network and system. What to do?????
