My system is basically unusable now that dual mode has gone ffs  please bug fix asap sonos

Since the update, I cant seem to add radio stations,  or add my own music,  I can voice control the speakers that have that function. 

Deleted the old app (ios) and installed the new one, but now it won’t get past the ”allow access to local network” message. Even though I’ve allowed access on and off several times.So basically I can’t use the app at all. Can’t add or edit speakers, nothing. Spotify is now my main Sonos app……Have tried to reinstalled the app and restarted the phone several times. Anyone with the same issue?

After the app update today (Android) at least we got the icon back LMAO but other than that, still my system does not work. The problem is 100% with the latest firmware on my Sonos One.If I factory reset the speaker 4 or 5 times, ONE out of those 5 times I’ll get lucky and the speaker will successfully join my wifi network. Now when I open the app it says “no products found” but if I open and close it 20 times I’ll get lucky once and I’ll see the speaker and be able to play music.No, the problem is not my phone. I tried other devices including an iPhone.No, the problem is not my wifi network. I tried other networks and other routers. Not to mention the fact that all other devices on my network are working fine, and my Sonos One worked fine for many years until this pathetic firmware update. Oh, AND I TRIED WIRED TO MY ROUTER WITH AN ETHERNET CABLE AND GOT THE SAME FAILED BEHAVIOR.Roll back the firmware you say? Sure, except the new mobile app doesn’t support that, and if I install the

When Radio France stopped being streamed by Tune In, Sonos provided a solution with the new Radio France service that could be installed and solved the problem… until it stopped working after a recent Sonos update.Any idea about what the problem is?

Firstly I should say I am not good at computer gobbledygook.I mostly used my Sonos system to listen to my extensive Music Library that’s stored on a Macmini. The only other features I used it for were, bedtime listening to classic.fm with sleep timer and a radio alarm in the morning.Recently my Sonos system became unusable, after the update of doom.I understand that going back to S2 Is not possible on Mac OS.Are there any third party controllers compatible with my many Sonos devices ( 6 speakers, 2 Amps, and Boost). We use Apple phones, Apple tablets and Macminis, MacBooks, Our music library is iTunes.Is there a way of making use of the Sonos junk with my library?Any suggestions welcome, I am retired and built up my music system think it would last me out but now Sonos seem to have abandoned me, it appears to be so much junk. I am NOT technically minded.

I for one am sick and tired of the marketing messages and speculation. I believe that it is time for Sonos to explain what is going and and to be honest and transparent with the user community.They need to confirm, what I think we all know, that the only way is forward.They need to be clear about what if any damage has been done to things like playlists. I suspect that they are there waiting for the app to provide the UI to manage them but Sonos know and can tell us.They need to give a rationale for how they determined the priority for reinstating features. In an ideal world they would let us vote but I think they are too stubborn for that.And they need to act like adults, apologise for the disruption and stop treating those of us asking the questions as if we are in the wrong.Sonos, enough is enough, I’m tired of your attitude and I am sick of not having things explained in an open and honest way.

Hi I enabled Sonos voice in my bedroom speakers so I can use sleep timers again since Sonos deprecated that in their latest release. It turns out that the Sonos One with the microphone is at the “wrong” side. So as a first step I’m going to swap the speakers. But have a couple of questions if I may. How does Sonos define L and R in relation to a stereo pair. Is it standing in front of the speakers and looking away from them or looking towards the speakers? If I decide to break and recreate the stereo pair will the new but hobbled app be able to do that? I use iPad and iPhone to latest iOS and S2 controller.Many thanks

Upgraded Sonos App on iPhone yesterday from v16.1 to 80.00.04. Now everything is broken:Cannot see the tracks I added to my playlists in 16.1. No Update Music Library feature. No option to create a new Music Library on a network source. Generally all Music Library setup has disappeared ! SUMMARY - Music Library configuration that was under System in 16.1 has all disappeared !

I can’t see any mention of a (NAS) Music Library in the promotional content for the new Sonos App. There is plenty of mention of “favourite Music Services” though.Please please tell me that, unlike the new search, support for NAS music libraries is not being further sidelined? This is one of the things that drew me to Sonos in the first place (in 2008 FYI).Joel

Hey I would like to know how  to add your storage device to your new Sonos app because on the old app you could have do it via you phone it doesn’t appear under sources.

The queue shows the correct list of songs but it highlights the wrong song that’s actually playing. Whats going on?

My soundbar is saying it is not registered. I am not getting any sound. How do I fix it?  When I hit the fix it tab it does nothing! Moderator edit: typo corrected 

My system constantly does not automatically connect.  Although I can resolve the issue, my family cannot.  What are my options here? 

Since the 15.2 release there is quite a few songs that display this error when trying to play them.  These seem to be mainly songs that are not lossless.  They were purchased over time from Apple Music.  They will still play if I use the Apple Music app, but they will no longer play from Sonos app.  I suspect some lossy codex broke with latest release. Occurs with all my Sonos products.Is this a known issue? 

From everything I’ve been reading, Sonos is still using outdated protocols for accessign NAS stored nusic - am I right? Like SMB1 which is notoriously insecure. Not that it matters anyway, I can’t find how to add it even if I wanted the potential insecurities.Where/how do I add the NAS? All the dox state I click the settings icon and go to the Music Library menu item, except there’s no such thing. I’m on the latest app version and it doesn’t have it, neither does the desktop version. This should be simple… they’re both on the same network.

I have two rooms set up, after updating to new app, I can’t find one of the rooms.  My wife has old app still and she can find the room I cannot, but she can no longer see the second room

I got an email saying that fixes to the new app, or a completely new app, would be available today. Where is it? How do I get it? I’ve been on Apple’s App Store and all I can find the new crap app. 

I have just bought my second sonos 5 and wanted to use them in stereo. I hadn’t been using the previous sonos app for a while just playing through spotify. I upgraded the new app for android and it can’t find my new speaker, insists on doing a software update that never completes and keeps giving me error 1000 and 1002 codes. Should i just wait a few days and reinstall the app once you guys have fixed the bugs?

I recently downloaded the most recent SONOS app on May 17, 2024. How do I mute a single SONOS zone within a group? In the previous versions, we as users had the ability to mute/unmute multiple zones simultaneously or “single zones within a group” at our discretion. Having the ability to mute a “single zone within a group” is a reasonable expectation…and tickets to entry for a music app like SONOS.Has anyone figured out how mute a single zone within a group? If so, can you reply, and share how to do it?

I have 2 groups of sonos players. When trying to start music there always is a problem to get the right group, furthermore loudness changes have to be initiated several times before it works ( at the iphone it always switches back to previous loudness)this was not the case before the update - the update is very disappointing, not an improvement 

I have just upgraded to the latest version, and I can now only play from the Sonos Port.  Whenever I try to play the radio I get the message “something went wrong Try again”. Which is a pretty awful error message

When attempting to add a new sonos one to my existing system, I am prompted to install the update. I have tried factory resetting multiple times, reset the new app, tried a wired connection - but always end up getting stuck here
