Hey, we are running a business and use a sonos system to stream music to our customers and employees, we do use a streaming service that we pay for, however some of our employees are being devious and are connecting to it and playing music off a different service, is there a way besides changing the wifi password to prevent this from happening>

Since the last update nothing works, I can’t find anything, please turn it back 

Greetings,I have a subwoofer and arc, and three move twos. I have a subwoofer and arc, and three move twos. Recently Sonos updated their app and it broke all of my connections and access to my system.I called Sonos support and they were not very helpful and it appears their support personnel are not trained on their products.I have updated all network settings, except for the subwoofer that won't connect and allow me to update it.  I tried hardwired Ethernet cable and Wifi to update subwoofer.All of my account settings, including Music has all been removed, and does not work.I tried to call Sonos and waited 70 minutes only to have an untrained support person whom could not help.  He was asking me to to help him  with product it appeared.i have turned off power, reset routers, and have done all remedial steps i am very frustrated with my $2,800 purchase and it is not very reliable. 

Tje ne update is completely focused on streaming services, but many steps back if you use a local NAS with your own music. It is not possible te search anymore?? 

Since the newish app update (black icon), when adjusting the grouped volume, it doesn’t seem to adjust some speakers (they stay at the same volume as if you hadn’t changed the group volume). Definitely never had this issue on the old app. Anybody else experiencing this?

SonosNet setup seems to be removed in the new app

Since the release of the new app, I can register at Sonos but am not recognised as system owner for all functions.Several functions are requesting the registration as system owner… but even entering the same credentials again does not make a change.Reinstalling, deleting the cache… no effect.Is there any work-around available or do we have to wait for an update?

I have done the required sonos app update (version 80.00.04-release+20240507.67.1145b) and can no longer see my NAS music.  I do not even see the option under Manage.  The help I read on line syas to go to Manage and select music library, but that option is not even available.     This is using a android device

I have just updated home internet so reset all speakers in house. Thing is I can see all on my wife’s phone but when I log into my Sonos app it says no system can be found 

The updated app is terrible. I hate the interface- it is not intuitive. It is slower and doesn’t work half the time- won’t connect rooms like it used to do. We use the sleep timer every night for our kids, it has been hugely inconvenient to not have that rather basic function. We use Sonos throughout our home, yard and gym- please fix it!

OMG! Sonos has thrown a grenade into their business with the new app. Worse than the previous two updates combined, and that’s saying something. It seems nothing is working, 75 minute wait times for help desk, sonos playlists gone, 2 out of 4 amps shut off and no longer recognized as system components, playlist edit/add capability gone, home theater configs gone. The settings part of the app is useless to recover from the lsited issues. I could on, but suffice to say they have done immense damage to themselves and their customers and I can’t even get them on the phone to work through any of it. I’m not sure it’s of any use to rant here, as it seems nobody at Sonos is paying attention to this forum, but it’s making me feel a tiny bit better.

After the new incredibly bad app update i cant controll the volume with phone buttons. I have to physically open up spotify or sonos app and use thr volume slider to manage it. WHY?!? Sooo bad. Jesus… 

Most of the time when I open up the app I’m prompted that I need to sign in as the system owner, then enable “Recently Played”.  The app then seems to remember I’ve logged in (for a while), but forgets I’ve already enabled Recently Played, so I’m prompted to turn this on again. Anyone else seeing this issue?  It wasn’t a problem in the v16 app

Need to de-register old Ray and get the new one to register. However, Sonos Customer ‘Support’ is non-existent. 

I have the library back and it is playing. Two questions:  Does anyone know why my speakers ungroup every day?  It is one occurrence per day and then crossfade turns off and i start the playlists again.  Does anyone know where Crossfade is in the new app_ I can find it for Amazon streaming but nor for the library.I despise the new interface but trying to muddle my way through it.

Each playback stops after some (mostly 1-3) songs with failure connection to Amazon is lost or skips a lot of songs with error „incorrect format“.No such problems before update and no status message for Amazon on the Sonos board.When will this be fixed?

The app keeps saying “sign in as a the system owner”this problem has occurred post recent app update 

“Sonos controller failed to install”Why?????

I realised that several of the music services I use are missing in the new Android app (notably SoundCloud and Spotify). I was on a support call with Sonos anyway so asked the technician and apparently the missing servcies are still registered on my Sonos system, just not displayed. He told me to try logging out & in again on the app, but that didn’t fix things. He also suggested adding a service since that can make missing ones appear - still nothing.I was able to re-add a couple earlier but I don’t have the logins for some of them as they are added by family members. Has anyone found a sure-fired way to make all the registered services re-appear?

As usual Sonos has done yet another unwanted update, this time they screwed up the intuitive ability to remove a station from “My Stations”.  It looks like this has been completely removed, if there is some work around it would be nice to know. 

I’d love it if someone can explain this for me.  We like to listen to a number of French Radio stations and Disney Park related stations via MyTuner.  Up until recently these were available via the app.  Now all I get when I try to play them via the app is the message “Something went wrong.  Try again”.   Yet these stations are still available as when I instruct Alexa to “Open MyTuner radio” and ask it to play the name of the station, it does it.  Any ideas why and how I can get it to play via the app? System: Beam, Era 100, One - based in UK 

I am growing very concerned that when the capability to add and edit a local music library is reimplemented sometime in July, that I will be forced to accept a new method of sharing that involves security vulnerabilities and with little to no transparency. I want to a) know what the plan is for this in the mobile app/how it’s intended to work, b) why are there no release notes for 16.2 desktop app updates which had extensive changes to the music library sharing  OS X and iOS user - I bought into SONOS because of its app’s ability to index my local music library from the Mac’s Music folder with ease, including the Music app’s playlists. No NAS, or SMB protocols involved.When the new mobile app launched with the entire music library capability missing, I was somewhat consoled by the fact that I could still manage this with the desktop app. And I ignored its prompts to update it.Despite that, there were changes made to the desktop app anyway

The last update for the app is horrible! Delayed response, can’t connect to certain speakers. Will Sonos fix this?

Hi, I’ve only ever seen the answer of ‘report to Sonos support’ for this, so if anyone has any ideas I’d gladly try anything.I am unable to add Apple Music as a Service. I can add other Services, including Audible and Tidal, but Apple goes through the process, looks like it’s done and at the very last stage says ‘Apple Music wasn’t added. Something went wrong. Please try again’.I have tried on my iPhone (x2) and iPad (x2), and they all come back with the same error.  I have updated the Sonos app and updated the software on all my Sonos products, but it still keeps coming back with the same error.I tried calling Sonos support this morning and have left a callback request.  Hopefully they’ll me back soon.
