Controllers and Music services

Each playback stops after some (mostly 1-3) songs with failure connection to Amazon is lost or skips a lot of songs with error „incorrect format“.No such problems before update and no status message for Amazon on the Sonos board.When will this be fixed?

The app keeps saying “sign in as a the system owner”this problem has occurred post recent app update 

“Sonos controller failed to install”Why?????

I realised that several of the music services I use are missing in the new Android app (notably SoundCloud and Spotify). I was on a support call with Sonos anyway so asked the technician and apparently the missing servcies are still registered on my Sonos system, just not displayed. He told me to try logging out & in again on the app, but that didn’t fix things. He also suggested adding a service since that can make missing ones appear - still nothing.I was able to re-add a couple earlier but I don’t have the logins for some of them as they are added by family members. Has anyone found a sure-fired way to make all the registered services re-appear?

As usual Sonos has done yet another unwanted update, this time they screwed up the intuitive ability to remove a station from “My Stations”.  It looks like this has been completely removed, if there is some work around it would be nice to know. 

I’d love it if someone can explain this for me.  We like to listen to a number of French Radio stations and Disney Park related stations via MyTuner.  Up until recently these were available via the app.  Now all I get when I try to play them via the app is the message “Something went wrong.  Try again”.   Yet these stations are still available as when I instruct Alexa to “Open MyTuner radio” and ask it to play the name of the station, it does it.  Any ideas why and how I can get it to play via the app? System: Beam, Era 100, One - based in UK 

I am growing very concerned that when the capability to add and edit a local music library is reimplemented sometime in July, that I will be forced to accept a new method of sharing that involves security vulnerabilities and with little to no transparency. I want to a) know what the plan is for this in the mobile app/how it’s intended to work, b) why are there no release notes for 16.2 desktop app updates which had extensive changes to the music library sharing  OS X and iOS user - I bought into SONOS because of its app’s ability to index my local music library from the Mac’s Music folder with ease, including the Music app’s playlists. No NAS, or SMB protocols involved.When the new mobile app launched with the entire music library capability missing, I was somewhat consoled by the fact that I could still manage this with the desktop app. And I ignored its prompts to update it.Despite that, there were changes made to the desktop app anyway which broke the ability to add/update from my l

The last update for the app is horrible! Delayed response, can’t connect to certain speakers. Will Sonos fix this?

Hi, I’ve only ever seen the answer of ‘report to Sonos support’ for this, so if anyone has any ideas I’d gladly try anything.I am unable to add Apple Music as a Service. I can add other Services, including Audible and Tidal, but Apple goes through the process, looks like it’s done and at the very last stage says ‘Apple Music wasn’t added. Something went wrong. Please try again’.I have tried on my iPhone (x2) and iPad (x2), and they all come back with the same error.  I have updated the Sonos app and updated the software on all my Sonos products, but it still keeps coming back with the same error.I tried calling Sonos support this morning and have left a callback request.  Hopefully they’ll me back soon.

I cannot control volume via the buttons on my phone?Can anyone help?

Sorry, but the new Sonos app is a step down from the previous!The journeys are not smooth and more convoluted than before and the app is even slower than the previous.Each time I want to use my system, I am first prompted with this screen for a long while, before my system appears.Please Sonos fix these things. Your hardware is great, but the software requires significant improvements 

The Search & Browse feature in the new app is brilliant.  Such a quick and easy way to search for Internet radio stations. At least, Sonos got something right with this option. 

Ever since I updated the app my three units can’t be connected to play together. The app is also defaulting to the Beam, and it is very difficult to switch unless I turn units off/on several times. I’ve tried resetting the router, reinstalling the app etc. It is so frustrating as I had no problems with the old app. Has anyone else got this problem?

Iphno 15 pro will not recognize my  beam bar. Other older iPhones do not have this problem. I have , i thought successfully installed my beam 3 times, only to have the sonos app show no connection. Ihave do e the following rebooted my phone , my touter , deleted the sonos app and the reinstalled it, i have tried the sonos one app. I am not going to do a hard start as then i have to configur  everything all ove agai. This happens at home and at our camp.  my older iphones and ipads  have no problem connecting  same for my wife.  so what is the deal!!!

The new IOS App is causing me so much grief I almost wish I had never comitted to a Sonos system in the first place. It is alsolute rubbish and has made it incredibly difficult to control the system from my phone or iPad - it is consfusing to say the least and I have wasted so much time trying to use it I despair and have never been so frustrated I am now having to resort to using the PC app - which at l4east for the time being is usable! The new IOS App needs immediate scrapping or a compolete rew=rite to make is intutive and usable!!!!

Maybe Sonos should call their next speaker end of an ERA? I’ve been a customer for a long time and have always praised and promoted what was an excellent whole house sound system, I’m absolutely astounded that Sonos have ignored a tidal wave of complaints regarding the latest crAPP. Why don’t you listen to your customers sonos!?

In May I could play BBC sounds through my Sonos play 3 in Italy. Now I can’t!I can see the BBCradio playing on my app, but there is no sound!I read that the BBC has changed its settings,  but when will Sonos align with BBC sounds for the EU listeners?

I have had nothing but issues with the latest update.  My music skips from one song to the other I will not play a full song. This latest update is horrible.

I am on iOS and my system just disappeared. Tried rebooting and uninstalling the app and it shows the same thing. Grrrrr.. I have had the app updated since it was released and haven’t really had any major issues until now. Anyone else?

This is a disaster. Nothing is working as it should. All my devices are not working. Can't control speakers as normal  Currently music is playing and can shut off  I have been a sonos user since they first came out ..  Disappointed 😞 

following the upgrade. Myself as the primary system owner can use the app fine with no issues. My partner who has her own sonos account and Spotify account has completed the upgrade but when logged in under her own user a display on the home page reads ; sign is as the system owner to see this content.The preferred services are set to her Spotify account and whan spotify is clicked from the home page access is as it should be.However sonos favourites is showing the system owners favourites. So i signed in as the system user [ myself] as advised by the sonos live chat agent, and made sure the settings for Spotify etc were set. The home page remains the same, with my recently played and my sonos favourites.If we try to use that way if conflicts if we use at same time so I returned to the log in of my partner and started again.Deleted app, reinstalled, cleared cache . no good. the live chat agent recognised the issue but did not seem to grasp how it worked previously before app upgrade an

Hello, this community has been helpful in the past but now I’m not hearing from anyone so I guess how to get help has also changed.  I am going to reach out to Sonos directly for help but if anyone sees this who knows how to help, please let me know - thank you!!  just want to play music but spend more time troubleshooting off and on and kind of over it.  Months ago I copied my iTunes library to Music Center for PC and also updated my library path for Sonos to point to Music Center.  Was never able to completely organize my playlists from Music Center to Sonos correctly and could only do so by single song (dumb!).  That’s problem number one.  While I was able to get the library path to work with Sonos that all changed a couple of weeks ago and Sonos INSISTS on going to another music folder now.  I have tried everything, removing, readding, resetting, moving my music folder to the path it seeks, and nothing works.  What is going on?  Why is this so problematic?  Why is nothing simple wi

How is Spence still in his job? After single handedly bringing the sonos brand to its knees surely the shareholders must be after blood? Thousands of loyal customers have been pleading for an app that they can use to play their music on ( as for a lot of people that’s why they bought sonos hardware in the first place) The reported return of basic functions sometime in June just does not wash, we bought into sonos in good faith and now the brand is ruined, it maybe that we go back to what we paid for in June, but with Spence in control the future of sonos does not bode well. 

Latest iPadOS version 80.02.04 will often hang on launching and just spin with nothing displayed other than the section headings. App remains completely unresponsive, you can only close it and try again.  It will start properly once in approx every 3 or 4 attempts.when it does start it is taking 29 to 35 seconds to display the opening screen and be ready to accept the next action. Every action is sluggish and stuttering. I am in the same room as the router and the speaker is connected via Ethernet so Wi-Fi latency / signal strength shouldn’t be an issue.the different app versions no longer interact properly. I started playing music using the pc controller (since the iPad and android versions are so poor) then I went into the room and later tried to control the speaker with the iPad version but all it did was jumble my chosen track and play it over the top of the tracks that the pc version had previously started. That has never happened before, you could always control the system proper
