Since switching my Sonos One to a new wifi network and having to do a factory reset to set it back up my alarms have gone crazy. It does not play the alarms I set over the speaker (although it looks like the music is playing based on app notifications) and it is setting i off alarms (using my selected favorites at least) at times I have never had set - - 7 am everyday, other random times during the day but consistent. I’ve tried deleting all alarms and resetting them, looked at all the app settings. It’s not as if it’s holding a memory of old alarms and the time zone is correct. I use google voice assistant and spotify and sonia radio. Help! I’m at a loss.
There is an alarm bug where Sonos uses GMT and not your local time zone causing alarms to go off at the wrong time. This might be the issue you are experiencing.
That may it. Thanks. Is there a fix or just set alarms by converting to EST based on GMT? Assuming they are working on this?

The bug has been there since they brought alarms back, I guess they will fix it eventually but it’s not on their published roadmap.
You should be good if you convert the times but tbh I wouldn’t rely on these for anything important.
Hi
You are correct. Currently there is no settings function to set Local Time & Date although the new App User Manual shows a menu item to do that. However the current Settings menu doesn't show it. I live in Australia and for a 6:0am Alarm I need to set at GMT +9.5Hrs or 8:30pm. If for Saturday it’s set at 8;30pm Friday. It works ok but its a challenge when you have multiple alarms. Sonos Australia say it was to be fixed mid June!
Good Luck
Thanks- good to o ow the issue. Hope they fix this flaw.
Our prayers have been answered in the latest firmware update 80.04.04.
Setting the local time and date is now available via the Settings menu. It’s only taken 2 months!
Thanks! What a bizarre thing to have taken out in the first place!
