New SONOS App - Adding to queue

I’m unable to add an album to existing queue. Is this feature gone or am I missing it?

not getting any help this time, so trying again to share my question - maybe time to ditch this system entirely.

Hello, this community has been helpful in the past but now I’m not hearing from anyone so I guess how to get help has also changed.  I am going to reach out to Sonos directly for help but if anyone sees this who knows how to help, please let me know - thank you!!  just want to play music but spend more time troubleshooting off and on and kind of over it.  Months ago I copied my iTunes library to Music Center for PC and also updated my library path for Sonos to point to Music Center.  Was never able to completely organize my playlists from Music Center to Sonos correctly and could only do so by single song (dumb!).  That’s problem number one.  While I was able to get the library path to work with Sonos that all changed a couple of weeks ago and Sonos INSISTS on going to another music folder now.  I have tried everything, removing, readding, resetting, moving my music folder to the path it seeks, and nothing works.  What is going on?  Why is this so problematic?  Why is nothing simple wi

The demise of sonos?

How is Spence still in his job? After single handedly bringing the sonos brand to its knees surely the shareholders must be after blood? Thousands of loyal customers have been pleading for an app that they can use to play their music on ( as for a lot of people that’s why they bought sonos hardware in the first place) The reported return of basic functions sometime in June just does not wash, we bought into sonos in good faith and now the brand is ruined, it maybe that we go back to what we paid for in June, but with Spence in control the future of sonos does not bode well.

v80.02.04 problems on ipados

Latest iPadOS version 80.02.04 will often hang on launching and just spin with nothing displayed other than the section headings. App remains completely unresponsive, you can only close it and try again.  It will start properly once in approx every 3 or 4 attempts.when it does start it is taking 29 to 35 seconds to display the opening screen and be ready to accept the next action. Every action is sluggish and stuttering. I am in the same room as the router and the speaker is connected via Ethernet so Wi-Fi latency / signal strength shouldn’t be an issue.the different app versions no longer interact properly. I started playing music using the pc controller (since the iPad and android versions are so poor) then I went into the room and later tried to control the speaker with the iPad version but all it did was jumble my chosen track and play it over the top of the tracks that the pc version had previously started. That has never happened before, you could always control the system proper

new app - can't play tv audio though out the house like I was able to do b/f app update...

Started our Sonos setup in 2016 & have added to it over the years. But it appears the updated app (iOS) really, really, really doesn't want me to listen to the tv throughout the house. It used to be so easy to turn on the tv, then go into the Sonos app & select to hear the tv audio throughout the house. I can no longer do this or at least easily. It keeps wanting to play the music I selected last weekend. After spending 15-20 minutes dinking around in the app, there were a couple of times I was able to get the tv audio. But this is unacceptable & should be easy to do, like it was before. Any tips on what I could do to make this experience better? Like it used to be?

YouTube Music wasnt added. Something went wrong

Hi,I’m trying to add YT Music as a service to the new Sonos app.  I run through the process. Enter the code as directed by the Sonos app. Choose my Google account. Get through to the page (Google side) the says that Sonos has been successfully authorised. However, when I return to the Sonos I get a screen telling me that “YouTube Music has not been added. Something went wrong. Try again.” Ive tried numerous times, without and without removing the Sonos association from my Google Account, all with the same result…

How to show current station playing on either web, PC or web app?

How can I tell what station is currently playing? Sometimes I find a good station via Alexa or Sonos Voice Control, but I can’t tell what the station is. It doesn’t show up on the “Recently Played” list, either. I ask to identify the station, but the only reply is the song and artist.

Why is the new app for Android so unreliable?

I’m on the new SONOS App.  It’s so unreliable.  Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t seem my system. Any ideas?

Stingray Music and SiriusXM Canada no longer available in services

Ever since the app update, both SiriumXM Canada and Stingray have been removed from the services list. This is very disappointing. When will they be added back to the list of music sevices?!?I have a Sonos Play:1 a Sonos 1 and a Beam.

HelloWhenever I start Sonos App I first get a message, that my Sonos devices haven't been found.I get 2 possibilities - Update my network-configure a new systemBut, trying to activate Sonos via Spotify, it works.Tying to open Sonos App now still shows the same picture, no product has been found.Anybody else having such troubles?I do not want to set up everything from the beginning as it works somehow, just the app does not see network/devicesThanks for help, Bettinae widget

Latest S2 App update now can't find our NAS drive with music

I’ve had Sonos system since 2007 and have upgraded years ago to S2 app. When the latest update, which we were required to do was done I can no longer link to the music folder on a NAS Drive. Any thoughts? Haven’t found the answer and we all know the chat bot doesn’t know either and wait timies on support phone is over an hour. Hlep would be appreciated!Cheers, Richar

System defaults to wrong room

The system continually defaults to the bedroom which is the room I use the least. I always have to switch it back to living room before I can listen in the living room. How can I fix it so that it does not default to the bedroom? Do I always have to Go and choose the room I want to listen to even though I want it to default to the living room or whichever room I was using last?

Hello I try to connect the Sonos ray to the app and when I fill the WiFi password then I have an Error 1.101 which says that the Sonos cannot be update and also login to the internet. If anyone knows please help me

Still cannot finalize connection with my symfonisk speakers after multiple updates

Hi all,the new app update completely broke the system with 5 Symfonisk speakers we have at work. Right after the update, accoring to the app there is no Sonos system set up on our network at all.I reset all speakers, but when I go through the setup process again, all goes fine up until the point I enter my WiFi network details, it proceeds to the next step of connecting but infinitely hangs at this point until it says the speaker is connected but may not be visible until I restart the speaker.After doing this and rebooting the speaker, it never shows up in system settings.The weird thing is, they're definitely all connected to the network because I can use them using AirPlay, but the Sonos app still says there is no network.I have updated the app two times now since the new app (first to 80.01.30 and then to 80.02.04). Both versions give the same result.Does anyone have any suggestion here? Ethernet is not an option as we do not have access to ethernet ports on our network due to IT po

Bug report: Moving a playing playlist between zones restarts the playlist

When a playlist is playing in one area and I move it to another (two different methods), it plays the current song for a bit, then suddenly reverts to the first song in the list.Methods tried:From a group set of players to another → “Hey Sonos, move music to the living room” Using the app → Added the new player (office); once the music was playing in both, removed the previous zone (office).Sonos player and software are all up to date. The playlist is from Spotify.

Stability of new app worse than before?

I have struggled to navigate the UI of the new app over the past week.Apart from losing functionality to add, edit or delete items in the queue, today the app itself started to die.A slow death rattle.Firstly unresponsive on the Android tablet it used to work fine on.Then one of my paired stereo speakers died.Then speakers in another room started playing. Is this product still in Beta?Can we revert back to a version that works?

unable to connect (to everywhere)

Since the app “update”, I can EITHER connect to my Sonos Roam OR my Era 100s. Before the update I could connect the whole system. I used the Roam to take my listening experience out of the two rooms that my Era 100s are located. But now, when I try to connect to the Roam AND at least one Era 100, I get a pop up that says “Unable to connect. Try again later.” Well, I’ve been trying again later for a week now with no success.  Also, the sleep timer went away with this “update.”The old app was fine! It was easy to use and had great features. Why did Sonos ruin their app?Also, the chat bot on the support website just shut down. And the time to speak with a representative on the phone is 85 minutes. Moderator edit: combined posts
