New SONOS App - Adding to queue

I’m unable to add an album to existing queue. Is this feature gone or am I missing it?

cant connect to Amazon music

I can’t connect to Amazon music. I’m using the new app but it was working originally with the new app tried reauthorising but still can’t connect. Amazon music via the Amazon app seems to be ok. Anyone else seeing this?

Sonos Playlists gone since app update

Like most of us, I’m a bit annoyed by the big app update. I want my sleep timer back soon please. But I’m fairly chilled about it.However I’ve just realised that almost all of my Sonos playlists have disappeared from the new app. There’s 4 left - used to be about 30. Among the missing ones is the playlist my 8 year old son carefully curates and manages. He doesn’t know it’s missing yet but he ain’t going to be happy when he finds out.Anyone else missing Sonos playlists? Any idea how I get them back??

Here is the posted email address for CEO Patrick Spence:  ceo@sonos.com I doubt he personally sees or cares about what we say. But worth a shot. I will say, when a company tells you who they are, it behooves us to listen. Personally I hear Sonos loud and clear, they do not give a hoot about its customers.

software update volume reference

Is there a way to renable the volume numbers?  When controlling the sound volume using an iPhone it is sometimes hard to tell if the volume has changed. With the old version of the software a numerical representation of the volume was also displayed.

Sonos will not connect to new router

Sonos recently demonstrated quite the mind of its own, running 2 different tracks on two parts of the system, concurrently, and repeatedly switching from the desired product to another. All annoying but when a new router was required the system would not connect. Even sound professionals have not been able to connect. The average wait time when I call customer service? 84 minutes.Is anyone having better luck?

How do reinstall Sonos 16.1 for Android from apk mirror?

I’m trying to rollback the buggy Sonos app that doesn’t work on Android.How do I do this? I go to apk mirror and locate version 16.1 but all my attempts to download are met with misleading popups and ads. How can I download 16.1?thank you

Empty Music Library

Successfully added the music library to my Mac desktop app. But with zero content.Suggestions? I noticed that Sonos finally updated the support guide for adding a library, the solution that had already been posted by users multiple times. But still, nothing to play.

How to mute one speaker in a group using the iOS app?

Prior to the recent app upgrade I was able to mute the speaker in one room of a group by simply clicking on the speaker icon for that room.  Since the upgrade, I've been unable to do that, and note that other users have identified this as a backward step in the updated app too.  The options now seem to be either to slide the volume to zero or to take the room out of the group.  The mute function was really useful if needing to quickly and temporarily mute the volume of one speaker e.g. to take a phone call.  The release notes for 80.02.04(iOS) say ‘introduced mute button on iOS’ but that seems to be for all the speakers in a group, so is there a way to mute individual speakers using the iOS app?  The Mac controller v.16.2 does still offer this feature.

Titles are missing for Apple Music

I have a Sonos Connect and Play:3 with the S1 app. There are no updates available.But now the titles (from albums and playlists) are missing while browsing Apple Music, making it impossible to find music!How do I solve this?

Blusound Vs Sonos

In light of this new app complete disaster (100% of my customers hate it, not to mention all the missing features, and the fact that Sonos continues to spend money marketing their stupid headphones instead of rolling back the app until they actually have a working product), I am considering other options. Does anyone here have any first hand experience with Blusound (or an alternative)? They have some interesting products that fill the hole in the products Sonos is lacking.But I would really like to hear from some folks who actually sell and deploy alternate systems, preferably largeish  ones (20+ amps) per job.  How's the app? Ease of use compared to the bulletproof S1System hardware reliable?Deployment easy?Anything else? Thanks in advance.

Sonos App Not Working Anymore

Hello, My Sonos app is not controlling my Play 3 speaker anymore. The app is constantly showing error messages that there is no product found, yet it finds the product after about thirty minutes. I then play a song and half way through the song the app just shows the error message that there is no product! Yet it was playing the song!? I press the volume but there is no immediate response. Three minutes later the volume adjusts! There is tremendous lag with every single function on the app. Also if I press a function in the app (like Spotify) the whole app freezes and I have to try and close everything and start again. Also the app will not shut down, as it doesn't respond to commands in the app (as the app is frozen). I go to the 'force stop' command on my phone and this doesn't even work to stop the app. The app is completely unusable and it is not communicating with my Play 3 properly. I've rebooted all devices and nothing helps. I don't want to factory reset the Play 3, as I'll los

group volume control in new app

Has anyone else had an issue with the volume control in the new app ? I have 2 stereo pairs and a sub in my kitchen and when I change the volume on the app (without opening both speaker volume controls) it just changes the volume on the pair listed first in the group. On the previous app it changes all linked speakers. It makes group volume control very clunky. I’m guessing it’s either an oversight or you have to set up the group volume control somewhere. Any ideas?  Cheers
