I can’t get in touch with the customer support because I end up in a waiting line for over 50 minutes.

A lot of problems since a while with my whole sonos system:

Spotify shows it plays the song although the speaker doesn’t make a sound. if i play rewind it sometimes works;

I choose song A in playlist A and then sonos decides to delay and play song B or C in playlist A for some random reason. If i try to replay the song that sometimes fixes the problem;

If i choose a youtube video and connect my beam to my sonos play 5 to play it together, one of the speakers just decides to pauze the music for 0,5 second every 20 secondes which is freaking annoying.

I don’t like my sonos system at all anymore…

I live in a small apartment, everything is extremely close to the router, no extenders. Everyone else who wants to connect has the same issues as me. So my phone is not the problem. I’ve never had issues until the last 3 months now.

Can someone help me out

Hi @Millaestee, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with playing to your Sonos system.

What you’re describing sounds like standard interference issues, with; songs skipping, intermittent playback, and having no audio. While you may not have any extra networking equipment, having everything very close to the router can introduce interference. It’s recommended to keep your Sonos speakers 18” (0.5m) away from any networking equipment and other electronic devices.

If you have made sure your speakers aren’t near any other devices and nothing is blocking their wireless signals, try rebooting your network and Sonos by powering off your router, Sonos speakers, and device running the Sonos app for one to two minutes in that order. If this lets you play without issues, then this thread by one of our users has more information on why and gives steps to prevent it:

If possible, I’d also suggest temporarily connecting a speaker to your router by Ethernet cable to give a connection which shouldn’t be affected by interference. If wiring does help, then it would be worth looking for a permanent wired solution with one of your speakers.

I hope this information helps!
