My 8 year-old connect Amp ethernet ports keep flashing and won’t connect to the network following reboot after a power outage.I suspect the power supply (or a power supply capacitor) is fried.  Is there a fix other than cutting the power supply wires from the board an connecting to an external power supply?

I have five Sonos devices on my network: Play: 5, Play: 3, Beam, and two Connect: Amps. Now that I’m using S2 (on iPhone) I never see all of them. The one I use most, a Connect: Amp, is always there. If I leave the app open for a few minutes, sometimes one of the other ones will appear but no matter how long I wait, I never get all of them. I can unplug/restart the others and eventually get them to show up but they disappear again the next time I pull up the app.  What’s my next step in trying to fix this? Should I pull them off their mounts and do a factory reset?

I have a playbar, 2x play:1 and sub in 5.1 configuration. Ocassionally the sound will start cutting - it only lasts for like a split second before it comes back but its annoying when suddenly all the sound is gone and then comes back - when it does this it will keep cutting out every few seconds and lasts for several minutes at a time What causes this and how do I fix it? Should I return it to the store for a refund? Thanks

I'm experiencing a strange issue on a larger sonos s2 system (10 speakers). Every other day or so, I can no longer connect to any music services or connect to the update servers. It just says it "cannot connect". I can see all my speakers just fine.Weird thing is, whatever playlist i was playing before I can press play and it will play normally because it has some type of connection. The situation usually rights itself after a few hours, or I can usually fix it by restarting the router and at least one sonos speaker. And I've never had any audio drop outs.I have tried plugging in to the router and using SonosNet, I've tried configuring wifi, I've tried changing channels - same weird behavior. I'm using an eero pro (single, no mesh) and it is working just fine for all my other devices.I submitted a diagnostic at 1718527646 with my current wifi configuration.

Hi,I have two One SL that used to be paired as stereo and everything was working just fine.I recently decided to separate them to have them in two rooms independently, and since then they both work as if they were on the left (or right, I don’t know) channel of stereo, instead of being mono.I tried resetting both of them but I get the same result.And they work perfectly in stereo when I recreate the stereo.Any advice ?Thanks

I have when 1 sonos speaker and have updated to the sonos 2 app which I understand is compatible. However although I've linked google to sonos I'm unable to link my spotify premium account. When I instruct Google to play 'x' music from spotify it tries to find it but then I receive a response which says 'you need to link your spotify premium account to Google and sonos.  I've done that but not getting anywhere. Can anyone help?Regards

I had to change isp so took the opportunity to upgrade my wifi and bought Google Nest. I've spent all day trying to get my Sonos to connect and it simply does not want to work. I have 2x play5 and 2x play 1 and 2x ikea bookends I've plugged the 5s in to the Nest directly using ethernet and reset them, as have done with play1s. Nothing is working, the app may or may not connect, the speakers may or may not show, music do want show what's playing. It's a nightmare.  What can be done here please?  Many thanks 

Have the S2 controller successfully set up on a Win10 machine and a few iPhones.   However, when attempting to set up on a new iPad, there is one Play:1 missing and it will not load the music library.I’ve tried every hint currently published on this community, so it’s clearly a new issue ???Any hints…..? 

I have a Sonos One and a Play:5 that I normally stream Apple Music to. Some mornings, but not every morning, the music is playing when we go downstairs. Our kids have previously streamed Spotify, but it is not active when this happens. I have submitted a diagnostic report (878087836). Is there a way that I can access this report? Any help appreciated.

Hi.My sonos system has just stopped working with the app on iOS and Android.Can still control via Alexa strangely.I have Connect Amp in one room, beam, sub and 2 x play 3 in another, and Play 5 (gen1) in another.Have tried to update but keep getting errors.Have now removed the bridge, and plugged the beam straight into the router, System now cant find the connect amp. And both apps not working. Although, after disconnecting and connecting again, it will work just once.I have switched through all the sonos wireless channels.I have turned everything off, router, bridge, sonos speakers, and turned all back on one by one.I cant find any other ideas to try on here.Any help really appreciated!ThxBen

We recently updated our Sonos system and now Soundtrack Player will not authorize in Sonos. We use Soundtrack to legally play music in our cafe, so it’s causing an issue that it won’t work anymore.

Hi! Updated to S2-controller tonight. I have 2 Play:1. I can't get connected both of them. I tried the setup-process with the forst Play:1and the speaker was found, updatet and connected immediately. Everything worked fine. BUT the second speaker was not recognized from S2. Though I tried it vice versa in a new installation and  the second Play:1 was found, updated and connectet immediately. BUT now it wasn't possible to connect the first speaker additional, the one that worked in the former setup alone well.After reading here in the community i tried to reboot my router and both Play:1 and the S2-controller(restart of my Samsung SM J 600) but the S2 further on recognizes only 1 Play:1. What else can I do to solve the issue? Thank you! 

This is really frustrating and I think has only been an issue since we upgraded to the new S2 app and removed the Bridge. We have a Netgear Orbi Mesh WiFi set up a Playbar, Play 1 and Play 3 across the flat.  Have tried the following:reset routerreset all Sonos speakersremoved and added the Spotify appchanged the router channel from auto to 1, then 6 then 11Playing from the Spotify app to Sonos is also patchy All other services on the Sonos app work perfectly. Is this a common problem?diagnostic 2106635247

Hello During the procedure the led is blinking red/blue as it should. Instead of turning green at one point, it just keeps indefinitely blinking red/blue. I found nowhere information about this topic.What am I suppose to do?Thank you for contacting

Been having on and off problems with audio stuttering between 2 different Samsung TV’s, 1 HDMI Splitter and 2 different optical cables.Nothing seems to fix it, I can only assume there is something wrong with the Playbar, which for something of this value to start deteriorating after a couple of years seems absurd.Submitted diagnostics ‘1678552655’.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,steve

I can change song within Apple Music, the new song plays & also appears in iPhone Control Center & shows as playing in Sonos App. But if I change song within Sonos App, new song plays .. but, old song still appears in Apple Control Center.Sonos App does not play nice with Apple MusicBoth play songs correctly, but (1) only when I select with Apple Music does it show in Control Center and Sonos App(2) if I select with Sonos App, old song still shows in Apple Control Center

I have several Sonos 1 Gen 2 throughout my apartment. All of them work fine except one. The sound is very tinny—no bass, sounds like it’s half volume or something. I’ve tried Airplay and other WiFi sound but it’s the same. I’ve reset the speaker. No change. What’s up?  Bad speaker??

I have a Sonos Sound bar and 4 x play5 speakers.I have a Orbi WiFi routerI have a Cat 6 to a HDMI extender to the TVSony TV I already swapped out the cable box and the extenders and the HDMI cables. My installer thinks it could be a bad Cat 6 wire. Any other suggestions? 

Trying to set up my first Sonos, a Five, through my recent iPad running iPadOS 14. It sees my WiFI network, and the green/white light flashes. But there’s no response to the button press when it chimes.I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting power, rebooting the router, moving the speaker very close to the router, and connecting with Ethernet. Nothing helps. It seems as though the button isn’t working. 

Up until a week ago I had a Sonos Beam (wired) and two Sonos One SLs (wireless) different rooms in my house and experienced no problems with my wi-fi (>60Mbps speed test). Adding a Sub 3 and connecting it to my Beam has resulted in appalling wi-fi performance (<3Mbps) in the room they are both installed in.The Sonos Beam is wired to my home network with wi-fi , the Sub-3 is not. Wi-fi is enabled on the Sonos Beam. I have removed my home wi-fi network from System > Network > Networks (none are listed). About My System shows WM:0 for all devices and I they are using SonosNet.I have tried with all three available wi-fi channels in the Sonos app (1, 6 and 11).If I remove the Sub 3 from the Beam my wi-fi speed test returns to 80Mbps. If I add it again, the speed test goes down to less than 3Mbps.I’ve just run a test with all three channels. The results were: channel 1 1.08Mbps, channel 6 0.92Mbps, channel 11 - 2.63Mbps. I have only recently started acquiring Sonos products, initially I just wanted a Bluetooth speaker, now a small fortune later I now have a pair of moves set up in stereo mode, and a home theatre consisting of a 55” Sony Bravia A*, an Arc Soundbar, two One’s and a Sub.Initially everything was easy to set up, but yesterday I had a nightmare trying to add the Sub, I managed it after a while and then started to notice the sound dropping out for a split second every 20 seconds or so which is not what you want really! Anyway I’m pleased to say that it’s now been resolved, all I did was reset my TiVo box.Hopefully this will help others who are experiencing the same problem.Graham

I would be so grateful if anyone can help with this. I can’t be the only person who has experienced it but I can’t find any documentation or discussion on it. I have eight Sonos speakers in a pretty small house. My Wifi is excellent near all of them. Quite often, speakers disappear from the network. I have to unplug them and plug them back in again or sometimes hard reset them to get them back on. I can usually get them back but it’s random and it can take a lot of tries. But here’s the weird thing. Every once in a while, I will open the Sonos app on my phone and it’s showing only the speakers that I thought were missing! In other words, they don’t just fall offline. They disappear to some mysterious other network. (I don’t have any other Wifi network in my home. This is all on the same network.) My phone app (and always my laptop app) usually shows the “primary network” but every once in a while reveals the “other network.” That doesn’t help me. Ultimately I still need to get my ph

Please help as I am out of ideas. My MacBook was been working fine for over a year, then lost the connection to Sonos yesterday after I updated my VPN client. Now it cannot find the Sonos speakers anymore.   My Setup I have lots of Sonos speakers around my house, including a Play 5, some Play 3s and some Play 1s and a new Move. Some of these speakers are on a single wifi, some on a wired Gigabit Ethernet all on the same network, with the same subnet, and all working fine. The client is working fine, on 2 other Macs in the house, on the same OS and same Sonos client version The client is working fine on 3 other iPhones and an Android phone in the house. I have a Sonos boost connected to my network. I have Gigabit fibre to my house so no network or internet connection issues, speed test reports over 900mBs download and upload speeds. Driving me insane the most infuriating bit of home entertainment ever ownedfirst they stopped us being able to stream from songs on my iPad so then thought right I’ll have to use my MacBook.  Now it even cuts out before one song has even played throughseems to link to Mac screen gong to energy save, surely music can carry on playing if screen goes to sleep.  extremely frustrating. Very clear that all Sonos wants to do is force users to a music subscription service or hardwire the source music to the speaker

The only workaround I have found is briefly renaming my home network to a different SSID, and then changing it back to the original network SSID. After that Sonos finds and reestablishes its connection
