Hi there. My speakers keep going out of sync. I’ve followed all self helps inc creating own wifi channels and regrouping speakers but keep doing it. The support diagnostic number the last time they faulted is: 146769554. can you please help? They’ve not always done this, but this problem has been persistent for last 12 months and is getting on my nerves now :(thanks.
I followed the instructions from here; https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1096?language=en_US. (unplug, hold play/pause button, plug-in, hold until orange-white blinking) The light went through various speed of blinking / fading, and then turned off, after about 5 minutes of holding down the play button. It did not flash orange and white. I tried this many times, with long periods of no power. An earlier troubleshooting conversation here:suggests that the playbase has a Connect button, but does not explain where. The support comment says to look at the page referenced above and to “See pictures (click the inserts) for the location of the Connect Button.” I don’t see any pictures on page and don’t know what “inserts” are. I don’t see any clickable links. Does Playbase have a Connect button? Any other suggestions?
I had hoped to get support directly from Sonos Customer Support, but it does not appear they are taking calls right now, likely due to some customer support Armageddon event like the one I am experiencing. Two days ago, my speakers have just stopped working. When I attempt to hit play, I see the error message: “Unable to play … Unable to Connect to XYZ”, the app flashes (reloads), and basically gives me a big FU. In the error logs, I am seeing errors such as this: “10/31/20, 11:23 AMUnable to play 'KPCC' - unable to connect to TuneIn.” It doesn't appear to matter what I attempt to stream or playback. The speakers are connected to my Wifi AP with excellent signal strength, the internet is working fine, and no recent configuration changes have been made on any of my network gear. I tried rebooting all of the systems, but not reset them, unaware of what data I might be losing if I do. I am pretty network and systems savvy but there is just no easy way to diagnose these black boxes. I suspec
Just added 2 Sonos SL as surrounds in my family room paired with playbase and sub. I previously had play 3 surrounds in the room but moved to a new room when i bought the SL’s. I have a single Sonos One hardwired in another room and all other Sonos devices (12) are wireless. In general my system is very robust and the play 3’s worked well and still work well in the new room. When I installed the 2 new SL’s the audio is breaking up when using airplay and sometimes drops out entirely with audio only coming from the playbase. Happens at the very beginning of any airplay session and when changing tracks using Apple Music from my iPhone. When playing through the Sonos app using music services no issues. Any ideas on how to solve? I’ve already tried restarting my network (Eero), updated and restarted my iPhone.
Hi, i bought a sonos move, playbar and a sub 6 month ago. It worked perfect together. We moved to a new apartment a few months ago and now i cant see the playbar and the the sub together with the move. Sometimes i can see the three products but i cant play them together and most of the time i just cant find the playbar and the sub. What can be the reason? Maybe a low quality of wifi connection??
Added boost and tv goes to white screen. Cable tv works fine if I power off the Boost. Turn tv on plug in Boost and white screen comes within minutes. Obviously Boost is impacting cable tv signal but how do I fix it? No problem with previous sonos product.
I am on a pure S2 system, using the S2 app. A bridge is no longer shown as a system component when I am looking at the system in the app.Yet, when I go to the website, a bridge is still shown as registered with my account. I can checkmark it, and it is even eligible for an upgrade. I do no longer have the physical device, though. How can I remove the bridge from the website?---Website sonos.com → https://www.sonos.com/myaccount/system/households/devices/About your systemYou have 1 products in your system that are not compatible with the new app, Sonos S2. I’ve recently added a ZP90 to my network. Sine then I’ve been having terrible problems with packet loss, loss, especially to anything leaving the network, going outside. Internally I’ve noticed that it seems to take several packets to “wake up” the network. I thought ATT was the problem and they have been out, put in a new modem and cleaned up a couple of bride taps. Always good to do, but the problem stayed. I pulled everything from the system and no loss to external pings, , pulled everything back in except SONOS ZP90 and still a problem. I switched etherent ports on the back and no errors now. I don’t find any documentation calling one IN and the other OUT, but it appears to be so.Any information on this? I need to make sure that I stay stable. Mike S.
I had a Sonos system made up of 9 connect amps in a central rack powering ceiling speakers in different rooms. 3 of those rooms also have subwoofers. Everything worked flawlessly for 5 years and then I stupidly made the decision to upgrade 4 of those Connect Amps to the new Amp…… 3 of those “Amp upgrades” were in rooms which has a subwoofer. Unfortunately now 2 of the subwoofers no longer work as no sound comes out of them. They show up on my system but when I play something there is no sound and the room status in the Settings>System menu switches from showing Living Room (+Sub) to Living Room (+?). I have been on the phone to Sonos Support for nearly an hour. In a nutshell the subwoofers no longer work as they are too far away from the Amps in the rack. The new Sonos Amp only operates at 5Ghz frequency and hence its range to connect to the subwoofer is much more limited than the old Connect Amp that operated at 2.4Ghz. The Sonos support professional was pleasant enough but the on
I just got a new phone, and for some reason the same day my Sonos system breaks (Unable to play through Spotify on my laptop). I have tried to connect to my system with my new phone without any luck. So Instead I have began resetting my speakers and trying to create a new system. Now, the application can find my speakers, but when I press ‘go to device settings’ after having pressed ‘install this product’ during the device setup. Nothing happends, the button press registers but then nothing further happends. I did not have these issues on my old Iphone 8 but I don’t have access to that one anymore. How would one resolve this? I have Sonos Play:1 speakers if that is helpful and I am using the Sonos S1 app.
One of my surround sound speakers (one) is crackling. I have tried unpairing and re-pairing and moving the speaker to see in anything next to it is interfering. Diagnostic number 346009813.
Hi, I am having huge issues connecting with my iOS Sonos Controller to my Sonos Play1 speakers after recently installing a new Ubiquiti Unifi Access Point. I have spent days not trying to get the Sonos Play1 speakers to connect. I have attempted the following. Changed RSTP to STP for the UAP port Enable Multicast Enhancement (Disabled and Enabled No difference) Combine Name/SSID (Disabled and Enabled No difference) Enable Multicast and Broadcast Filtering (Excluded MAC address for Sonos Play1 devices) Enable IGMP Snooping (Enabled/Disabled No Difference) STP with Priority 4096 Despite trying all of this I have not been able to connect to the Sonos Play1 without physically attaching a cable directly to a Play1 device. I am aware that I can use the SonosNet if I hard wire a device but I want to run the devices in Standard Mode over WiFi. Why doesn’t this work? All clients are on the same network/vlan as the Sonos devices and I still can’t connect? Please help...
Ever since I purchased my sonos playbar 3 years ago, the sound drops from the LG TV. It used to only happen once every couple of weeks, either watching TV, PlayStation or netflix through the WebOS. Now it seems to be happening 3 or 4 times a day. It is connected via optical cable. This cable has been replaced but it still happens. Are we able to update the firmware or something on my playbar? Or run some sort of diagnostic?
I love Sonos. I have at least 15 products. Everything was fine until I tried to switch to S2. It didn’t recognize my very simple system at my beach house (one play:3 in the bedroom and two play:5 gen 2’s in the living room. I must have connected a component via Ethernet ten times already. I’ve rebooted, reset, initialized, you name it. My most recent attempt was to connect the play:3 directly to the router. It’s still there. Then I tried incorporating the two play 5’s. It can’t find them. Then I tried to find my speaker. It can’t find the Sonos WiFi. I’m striking out. I was on hold for 45 minutes with Sonos, then we were beginning the troubleshooting. Cecil said he’d call back if disconnected. We were disconnected once and he did call back. Then we have disconnected again and he never called back. Now it’s day two and I’ve been on hold now another 20 minutes. Cmon Sonos, don’t get too big I provide quality support. This &**cks. I never should have upgraded. I’m lost.
I just bought a couple One SL’s to set up surround sound and I’m encountering a incredibly loud buzzing/almost feedback sound from one of them that completely cuts out the audio. Right now the LED is flashing orange and white. I’m assuming I just have a fault speaker but I’d like confirmation/further detail on what the issue is if possible.I sent in two diagnostics immediately after the buzzing happened. Numbers are: 1704120026917381552 Thanks!
Hi, Wondering if you could assist, my Sonos One speakers are attached to my Sonos Beam for the surround sound. Recently my left Sonos One has started to crackle / static sound when TV is muted or switched off.I have repositioned the speaker and re-tuned it several times but it has not solved the issue.I have run diagnostics with the reference: 528283216
So I dove in and bought my first Sonos product this year and in July I picked up my Five. I have loved this speaker these past 3 months, but recently a couple of songs I’ve been listening to, I have noticed a rattling type sound, and I think it’s with certain bass frequencies. The rattle is like the casing/ housing is shaking. On my five, I use a flat EQ, all zeroes, I have setup the Trueplay and I prefer Loudness on.the 2 sounds I’ve noticed it on are:Deftones - Passenger (Mike Shinoda Remix)Kalley - Alabaster Heartboth through the Spotify service, selected through the Sonos V2 app. Also I don’t usually get higher than 50% on the volume, and I use the speaker alone in the horizontal position. Anybody have a similar experience, or have suggestions to change settings? Is the thing damaged/ can it be fixed? Really hope to fix this issue, since I have already ordered my next product, a Sonos refurbished Playbar is on the way from Beat Buy.
For the past year or so, I have been using the symphonysk to act as a bridge allowing me to “Airplay” from apple tv to my sonos connect (series 1, not airplay 2 compatible) - This has worked great, until recently. I don’t know if it was the latest apple tv update or latest Sonos update, but now the symphonysk does not show up as an audio output option on the apple tv. What to do? I tried resetting the apple tv to its factory settings, but still no luck, so I’m guessing it’s on the sonos side. Any help would be appreciated
This app has worked fine but now it won’t connect to wifi. All other devices in the house are working fine. I've already tried rebooting the modem and router. my diagnostics number is 1907488341. Thank you for your help!
Hi all, help please! I have a Play Bar, Sub, and 2 x Ones (Gen 2). My play bar and sub are connected to my Samsung QLED. My ones were connected via wifi. Happy days. I could also use Amazon Music and Alexa with it. Now, I have a new router; a 3 Broadband Router (Huawie) much faster than Sky. A breeze I thought to reconnect everything as it was. Well, it hasn’t gone according to plan! Only the play bar is working (I suspect only because it’s p,ugh Ed directly into the TV) I cannot get the sub nor the ones to connect to the new router even with the Ethernet cable. Clearly I’m doing something wrong but I’ve followed the advice to the letter and still nothing. Any advice please?
Ever since I upgraded IOS devices to 14.2, Pandora has become unusable. Songs not found, cannot play errors, lack of continuous play, glitchy connectivity.Spotify works fine.Am using the current version of S@ and have restarted speakers, phones, and IOS devices, no change.please help!
This issue has happened many times before until it randomly goes away but I’ve never been able to fix it. Streaming the song from my phone’s storage.
For all that is holy, bring back the ability to reboot a Sonos device via a web browser. Left stereo paired Sonos Play:1 plays sound. Right stereo paired Sonos Play:1 is silent. The only thing that fixed the right stereo paired Sonos Play:1 was to power cycle the Sonos Connect. Shouldn't need to schlep across the house to unplug a power cable, and spend an eternity trying to plug it back in, when the device is already connected to the network. Let me reboot it from my computer. Let me reboot it from my tablet. Do I really need to buy a WeMo outlet to accomplish this? Setup... Router -> (ethernet) Sonos Connect -> (SonosNet) 2 - Sonos Play:1s (stereo paired)
Howdy all, signed up for the new Sonos HD radio and ever since all of the stations cut in an out. The speakers can’t seem to keep a connection. There’s also an error that says the song is not in coded properly once in a while. This only happens with Sonos HD radio. Pandora iTunes and Spotify etc. are all fine. Any tips or tricks that I’m on aware of to make the speakers work better with HD radio? I tested the bandwidth on the wireless that the speakers are connected to and it gets a good 250 Mb.
Hi, I posted this a year ago, and was asked to submit diagnostics: “I have 4 play:1 speakers set up as two stereo pairs in different rooms. One of the units has started putting out a 1-2 second buzzing or whirring noise while not in use. I am having a quiet afternoon watching cricket and football and have heard the noise 4 times. Unplugging and restarting makes no difference.” However, the noise went away so I did not submit. Today I have been sat next to the speaker and heard it maybe a dozen times while no part of my sonos system is actually in use. It is the LH speaker of a stereo pair connected to a Beam. Can I submit a diagnostic? thanks, Alan
