I had a CR100. It has been removed from the system years ago. When I now try to see if my Sonos system is compatible with S2 the CR100 still seems to be in my config - see picture below. It seems strange to me that the system still keeps track of CR100 when it isn’t supported anymore. I don’t know how to remove it from the config. Any suggestions? I’ve also sent diagnostics from the app: 1589951536 Regards,Thomas
Hi, so I have two Play 1s, one Play 3 and a Connect – had them many years working fine in an apartment, no problems at all. Moved house to a bigger place, and the furthest-placed unit dropped in and out – that’s ok, I needed to get better wifi generally, so I got a mesh system. Sonos stopped working, so I do a bit of research and find out that Sonos doesn’t like mesh networks – ok, fair enough.Next step was to wire the Connect via ethernet to the router (it’s the nearest), then set up the system, it worked for a bit but then stopped working and the system on the app greyed out, says it can’t connect etc. I then read that you should remove the network password in the controller app to make sure the Sonos uses its own Sonosnet and does not try to connect to the the wifi network, ok fine, I did that too and set it up again. I check that the WM is 0 on the connected units like I am told, to make sure it’s all set up right. I think I’ve done it and it works for a bit but then it all stops a
Hi, I have just started getting a speaker drop out on a pair of Sonos ones. I already have the lag if playing everywhere which I can’t resolve but now it’s annoying that one keeps dropping out. Please can someone help?
For such an expensive brand, problem solving should be high priority, why is this not the case with all the problems the Sonos app has? Especially just fix the damn connectivity issue, most of the time my Speakers are useless. Until Sonos makes this a priority, I will not recommend Sonos nor buy more products.
Unable to pair Sonos Move with my device on bluetooth for the first time.I confirmed both are on the same wifi, software is updated, switched off and on the router, disconnected the app and turned on again. The chime and blue light turns on and then pressing again the button turns to blue light flashes. I tried several mobile phones and none can find the Sonos Move so, unable to pair.On wifi mode works well, never had problems. Can anybody help?
I’m trying to add a second hand Connect:Amp to my S1 system to replace a ZP100 with failed power supply. The remaining Zone Bridge and ZP100 is working fine.I use IoS app v.11.2.4. When selecting ‘add product’ , the app say the that it must be updated. (I believe I’m running the latest version of the S1 app, 11.2.4.) The app will not update, and I get error 1101. if I opt not to update, I can not add a product. The ZP100 runs version 11.1 and so does the ZoneBridge I have rebooted all the sonos products. The network is running fine. I am a network engineer and run my own enterprise FW. There is no traffic from the Sonos system that is blocked in the firewall.
HelloI have a issues with sonos and spotify collaboration.Everything was okay for a year and it's broken since november last year. When I'm trying to play music from spotify the progress bar is runing, time is running but there is no sound and sometimes sonos is starting the last source of music for example tunein.I was trying to reinstall spotify app and reconnect the account to sonos app but after that i just can connect to my sonos speaker, before that procedure i couldn't even connect to my devices. It's really annoing because i paid a lot of money for those devices and I can't connect my speaker throught the ethernet cable and even listen the spotify. Please I need your help, thank you.
Hi,I’m struggling with this problem from over a year and hope I can get it resolved. This is my setup:5 sonos Play:1 speakers in different rooms2 sones Play:1 speakers in surround mode1 Playbar in surround mode with the two Play:1 above1 BoostThe Boost is hardwired to the Network and I am using SonosNet on Channel 11. All the other speakers are wireless. Previously, I didn’t have a boost but I hoped the purchasing a Boost would solve the issue. I have reconfigured the whole setup from scratch. Uninstalled and removed all the apps from my iPhone and iPads, unlinked the accounts and reconnected everything. What is the problem? All the speakers are visible and working correctly in the Sonos S2 app. However, after a while, the Sonos speakers are disappearing from the Spotify app. Up until the situation that all speakers are gone and I’m no longer able to play music from Spotify on my Sonos system. For now, the only resolution is to power cycle all the speakers, reboot the network and afte
I have a Samsung UN46F8000BFXZA connected to a playbar. I am getting the dreaded drops. I changed sound settings to PCM and I still have the same problem. The only other audio option is DTS NEO 2:5. What are my options?
Play:5 2QS02 Picture is from another community memberHello,I started this specific topic on the 2QS02 power mosfet driver because maybe someone figured this out already. The “no power” issue is related in my case by the lack of Vcc voltage on pin7 on this driver IC 2QS02, as in the respective Infineon datasheet. If I manually apply 12V on pin 7 then all is good, the power comes back in the secondary. At least it means there is nothing wrong with the IC.I know, I could power the driver IC externally, right? But then it will not be Sonos anymore…The supply voltage of this IC is related with that small 100uF 25V small capacitor located between the two big main 400V ones. I cannot see from where that 100uF capacitor is being charged, to be able to supply the power to 2QS02. There is anyone who figure-it out this part of the power circuit? Thanks
Just setup a new Symfonisk (via WIFI) on my WIFI network. It is the only Sonos on the Network. My Network scanner is now seeing 2 new MAC addresses. One is clearly the WIFI MAC of the device - related to the serial #. But what is the second MAC that is appearing randomly? It almost looks like some type of Virtual MAC address. (A2-E3-6B ………...).The unit is working fine. Thanks,
I keep loosing the speakers all the time, it seems to have started after the new app came out.I have hardwired a couple of times, but the problems keep returning, daily basis. This is not workable anymore! Please fix this! Kind regardsMartijn Balhuizen

We have recently moved house and I am trying to install our Sonos system that worked fine at our last house. It comprises Bridge, Play 1, Play 5 (x2) , wireless dock and ZP90 zone player and controller pad.I have the S1 app on my iPhone and have switched off all items and (starting with the Bridge) connected them one at a time with the button held down before and while powering on.Issues are:the bridge appears to be connected (with ethernet cord - white light on solid) but nothing else connects to it. The Play 5 units work as a pair if one of them is connected by ethernet but not otherwise, when working they show correctly on the S1 App and can be controlled that way. The zone player doesn't connect or show on the app. I haven't tried the other items yet. The controller doesn't find any of the Sonos products and only identifies the controller and the Bridge under ‘about my Sonos system’. When I tried to reset password on my app this didn't seem to work and appears to be identifying
For the past two weeks, almost every night when everyone in my house is sleeping, music starts playing by itself on one set of speakers. When it first started happening, it played through our Alexa’s (Amazon). I then proceeded to unplug all of our Alexa’s in the house. Since then, the music now comes on through one of our built in speakers that plays through a Sonos Amp / Connect. This happened tonight and I ran a diagnostic - 918751605. I checked to ensure I have no alarms set. If the issue is there is someone else who logged into my system - how do I remove them?
I’m having some volume issues... or maybe not? Is it wrong to expect the playback volume of my turntable to be the same as streaming audio when switching between them? When I go from streaming a song to then playing something on my turntable there’s a noticeable drop in volume. I’ve tested this by playing the same song / artist to ensure parity. I see a few posts here about audio being too quiet and some not playing at all, this isn’t that issue - the audio is decent through the Line-In, it just isn’t consistent with streaming playback. I have a Technics SL1210 turntable going into a Pro-Ject Phono Box E pre-amp, going into a Sonos Amp which broadcasts to a Sonos One and Play:One speaker. My app settings are as follows: Line-In Source Level: 5 (has been 10, see below)Autoplay: OnAudio Delay: 2000msUse Autoplay Volume: offAudio Compression: Compressed While the turntable is playing I have changed the Line-In Source Level between 2, 5, 8 and 10, you can hear an obvious volume diffe
Hello,I am experiencing a network related issue with a new Sonos One Gen 2 where after 8-12 hours of uptime, the Sonos device stops responding to ARP requests for its IPv4 address, leading to a case where it can no longer be found by the Sonos app nor pinged at its IPv4 address until the Sonos is rebooted. Force disconnecting the Sonos from WiFi and allowing it to reconnect also restores connectivity. This Sonos device is the only Sonos device in my system and is connected via WiFi through a Ubiquiti Unifi AC Lite AP. No other devices on this network exhibit similar issues.Once in this “bad” state, adding a static ARP entry on my Mac allows me to ping the device, as well as allows the Mac Sonos app to discover the device. However, this does not restore connectivity from the mobile app (as expected).Any insight into this? I was able to capture diagnostic # 516203405 while in the “bad” state using the Mac app as well.
I have a simple set up - a Sonos “Connect” cabled to a NAS drive with my music and cabled to a Devolo powerline adapter which connects to my router. The adapter also provides WiFi to my music room. I use an ipad as a controller (or an android phone as a last resort).Since I updated my Sonos controller software late December/early Jan 2021, my sonos playlists have disappeared. They are visible on my android phone but not on my ipad. I can go through a convoluted process that seems to recover them but it really is a pain and quite frankly, those that I demo the system to find it laughable.I have been in contact with Sonos Support trying to either get this fixed or registered as a problem but no joy. To be fair they have been responsive but have concluded by saying that it could be the Devolo powerline Wi-Fi adapters I use to connect my music room to the internet. Short of a 30m ethernet cable dangled out of an attic window, I have no other practical way to connect the system to the
Very sad. I saw that Costco was carrying a two-pack of Sonos One SL, something I’ve wanted for awhile. So I pick them up, bring them home, have no trouble configuring them using the Sonos S2 app as a stereo pair in the living room. Except playing music on them. A short digression: we had Sonos speakers (generation 1 amps) in the previous house, wired to various speakers spread throughout the house. We using the Sonos S1 app to control them, and until relatively recently, played music directly from the ipad to them. Life was good. Then Sonos decided to drop support for playing from an ipad, so I used a Windows Media Player on a Windows 10 system, controlled by the S1 app on the ipad. Life was still good. We had tunes. For the life of me, I can’t get the Windows Media Player library working with the S2 app. I can get the app to see it: but all the subfolders (albums, artists, folders, playlists, etc) are empty:-( Clicking “update music library” doesn’t make anything show up. I (brief
Every now and then the SONOS 1 repeats a sentence or two that was broadcast a few moments before ie, part of the narrative is repeated. This usually happens on BBC Radio 4 or so it seems. Has anyone had this experience and if so, what do I do about it?
For some reason I cannot connect all my sonos sl speakers with the arc and sub to create the home theater set up I desire. The sonos sl speakers are like their own two entities they won’t even pair with each other. I tried rebooting, unplugging, uninstalling the app, reinstalling the app, I have clicked on the play button when the chime sound comes on and still the sonos sl speakers will to sync and integrate with arc and sub. I need help I don’t know what to do? I am new the his sonos ecosystem but this is major deal brearker and if I am not able to do this I think I am going have to return this and return back to Bose. This is just too complicated. I need some help before to resolve this.
Sonos Arc sounding tinny and metallic after Trueplay and also multiple EQ, surround and sub configs and changes to settings. The only way I could get the Arc to sound kind of OK was EQ - Treble -10 and Bass - 6, but still tinny. Is this a bug and Sonos need a software fix? Many thanks for any help as I did not expect the Arc to be like this
I have a pair of play 1s that go out of sync after a day or of resetting and repairing. I'm running a Google wifi mesh network. Everything else seems to be fine and my surround setups haven't had the issue
I love using Sonos to control my home audio environment (I have five devices throughout the house), but now I must frequently connect to my work network by VPN (because I’m working primarily from home due to the pandemic). After I connect to my work network using CIsco AnyConnect VPN client, I’m no longer to access my Sonos system on my home network. Instead, the Sonos application displays a message that says “You’re on a different wireless network than Sonos...”. I’d like to control my home Sonos network while connected to my VPN work network. One option in the Cisco client is to “Allow local LAN access when using VPN - if configured”. That seems like it would allow me to do both at the same time, but I’ve selected it and it doesn’t work. Please help?
I just installed a Sonos beam in my living room, a pair of Symfonisk linked to the rear. TV is a Samsung NU6900 (late 2018 model) and I am utilizing the ARC port via the HDMI cable included in the Beam box. ALL content is watched through an Apple TV 4K. If I leave everything At the defaults, I get no audio delay/lip sync issue. Watching the latest movie on Apple TV+ or Netflix, the Sonos app in the about section shows a PCM 2.0 audio input. I forced my Apple TV to output Dolby 5.1, then the audio menu in my TV showed a Dolby Output (versus the typical PCM) and then the Sonos app would show a Dolby input. But I would get an uncorrectable lip sync issue. I tried to fix on the Sonos app, and the tv, no luck. I have had the Apple TV run a HDMI cable check, that’s good. I have match frame rate off. And I still have a unfixable sync issue. Should I just leave it all on the defaults and get a working PCM 2.0 stream? Am I just wasting the system since I also have rear channels? Is there somet
