Hello allIn the past I have changed router/wifi succesfully more that once but this time I cannot get connected to the new wifi.I have tried every solution (I have been able to find in here but no help)I am running two Play:1 and one Play:3I have done a factory reset on all three devices.I have added the Play:3 (using a cabled connection) and then added the two Play:1 succesfully.Everything works fine at this pointThen I go through the wireless setup part. It tells me that I am connected to the new wifi and that I may disconnect the ethernet-cable. Once I do this the sonos app looses connection immediately. (if I press play on any of the speakers they music will start playing, so the speakers must still be connected to the wifi)Once I plug in the ethernet cable I am able to connect again with the sonos app. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Br. why I cannot have worked more than 2 Play1 at the same time?
I have 8 various sonos products located throughout the house. Recently they have just started dropping in and out from random locations. Problem is worse when switching tracks. Iv tried mixing up the WiFi chanel and no difference. Begining to become a pain. I ran a diagnostic 1015401939Thanks.
My Sonos 5 Gen 1 speaker has fast flashing red light all the time as soon as you power it. It will not let me reset the speaker or anything, and it only give a fast flashing red light. How do i recover this please?
I have a Sony turntable connected to a five speaker. When playing the turntable through this speaker there seems to be a lot of echo and sound distortion. I have attached a picture of my setup. I do have another five in my system and when I stream through that one only sound is great. I have switched them with one another to see if the speaker was the issue but it's not. I have also placed the speaker connected to turntable on the floor, further away from turntable and sound is better. I'm wondering if the speaker just needs to be further away or should it work as pictured?
I recently left my house for a week. Since I came back, I have found that my app does not connect to the speaker after a little bit of inactivity. Unplugging and plugging the speaker gets everything back up and running, but is rather annoying. I submitted a diagnostic. 1208688160 was the reference number. Thanks for any help!

Hello everyone,It's quite a while (2 years maybe) I have this issue with the Connect. It suddenly stops playing music for few seconds while the other two Play-1 keep playing music normally. I use the system mostly with Spotify and Tune-in. I'm not sure if it happened also with Amazon Music. I've sent the diagnostic within few minutes from the last episode, this morning: 1154082524. The setting is as follows:Connect cabled to the router via ethernet (Living Room)Play-1s in wifi to Connect (3-5 meters from each other) The same issue happened when the Connect was connected via wifi to the router, with 3 different routers, in 3 different cities/apartments, with 3 different internet providers during the last years. The internet connection I have in the last year is a super-fast Fiber (up to 1Gb/s).
My playbase was working fine but suddenly I could not see it in my app. I tried resetting and now the playbase is flashing green light but I cannot discover and add it in. Can anyone help?
Hello,I see that this has been posted before but I can’t seem to find a response that works for me. I have a U-Turn Orbit turntable going to a Pro-Ject preamp feeding a Sonos Port. I cannot for the life of me get the Autoplay to work consistently. No problem choosing the source in S2 but dropping the needle doesn’t trigger autoplay. I have tried adjusting the line-in gain from Level 1 all the way through to Level 10 and it still won’t trigger 9/10 times. Curious if there is a solution as I had the exact same problem with my Sonos Connect. I have tried with different preamps and even a different turntable with the same results.
I cannot play on my Sonos speakers from the Spotify app. The speakers do not appear in the app. I have tried unlinking my Spotify account and restarting both apps, to no avail. I'm using the right wifi network. Help? Here's my diagnostic number 1368259792

I’m trialling Tidal Hi-Fi. It works on all of my systems except my Play;1 speakers. I use Sonos S2 OS, and my three receivers are connected with Port and Connect: Gen 2 boxes: they play Tidal Hi-Fi fine. A Sonos One speaker does too. But my Play:1 speakers in two different locations in the house won’t play Tidal. They’re S2-compatible and play Apple Music, but not Tidal. My iPad, iMac and Sonos OS’s are all up-to-date.Before I replace the Play:1 speakers with Sonos One SL speakers and spend yet more $$ on Sonos, any suggestions? Thanks,Don Carter
I have a Sonos Beam and 1 Sonos One. Both where connected to my wifi. I had drop outs so decided to connect the BEAM to a Wired connection. My Beam is connected to a Netgear switch which supports STP/RSTP and it is working fine. Now I am trying to connect the Sonos One to the SonosNet. However it keeps reverting to my Wireless network. I tried resetting the Sonos One, removing the wifi network in the app so that it connects to the SonosNet. This did not work. Tried disabling my wireless on my phone but if I do this the app complains there is no wifi. So that did not work.Looked at the settings and the Beam is on wm0 and the One is on wm1, so the One is not using the Sonosnet.Am I misunderstanding the sonosnet setup? What steps am I missing? I thought the Sonos One would automatically connect to the SonosNet.
I have an older system and am unable to update my move, add or remove equipment or update the system. I have reset everything in the proper order from the modem to the connects and still get the 1011 error. I have updated the iOS on my devices and have tried reinstalling the s1 software. I’m getting very frustrated. Please help
I added a Play 5 Gen 2 to my old Sonos system. When I group everything (soundbar, sub, 2 play 3s, 2 older play 5s & move) and stream music like Pandora it is perfect. When I play anything off my TV it skips. When I remove the Play 5 Gen 2 it stops skipping. I added an extra Boost next to the Play 5 Gen 2 and it did not help.Clearly something about any TV sound output and this Play 5 Gen 2 any ideas?
Sonos Sync Issues HiI have 5 Sonos speakers and a Sonos Connect (see details below). I love it.I primarily stream Spotify music thru the system via WIFI only. I do not use the Sonos wired (sonosnet).I use an iPad and iPhone 8 to access S2 and Spotify. My issue is with Sonos cutting out when I switch from as example my daily playlist one tor 2. It may continue to play song 1 and then slowly merge to song 2 with fits along the way. This also happens if I happen to start the music up on the iPhone and then try to change volume or track on the other device.I also sometimes have problems getting connected to Sonos after starting Spotify. And one day the volume suddenly went to full volume and scared the heck of everyone in the room. The problem worsens when one of the 2 women in the home try to connect to Sonos. It’s gotten so erratic when connecting that neither my partner or daughter use it anymore. It will likely not be a surprise to some of you when I say that suddenly I’m being told this
my sonos move keeps disappearing from my sonos s2 app on iphone but is still viewable on my macs sonos s2 app? what is going on?
Hi, About a year ago, i bought 4 Symfonisk speakers to my old apartment. I had issues reaching my bedroom, so I was recommended by Sonos to buy a mesh network, so I bought the Deco M5 3 pack, and where one is used as the main router. It still didn’t really worked properly but I was too tired to troubleshoot more at that time. I now live in a new apartment, thought it would work better here, but no. Since I’ve spent +30 hours on troubleshooting and trying to fix it (including wiring a speaker to my router), I bought the Sonos Boost hoping to eliminate all problems. However, it’s still basically the same, where I can’t play music via Spotify properly for more than 5-10 minutes on all the speakers. I have issues when using airplay, the sonos app, as well as spotify connect. The problem is most apparent when using all four speakers at the same time. The sound is hacking, speakers drop out, and the sonos app works slowly. Although some other programs works slightly better, it is still no
I’m resetting up my Sonos system and my Sonos Connect (Gen 2) will not move into connect mode. I have tried a factory reset. Unplugged and re-connected several times, always holding down the appropriate buttons But every time it powers up it goes straight to white light. No flashing orange or green lights, so is undetectable by the app. Is this a hardware problem?
I had a CR100. It has been removed from the system years ago. When I now try to see if my Sonos system is compatible with S2 the CR100 still seems to be in my config - see picture below. It seems strange to me that the system still keeps track of CR100 when it isn’t supported anymore. I don’t know how to remove it from the config. Any suggestions? I’ve also sent diagnostics from the app: 1589951536 Regards,Thomas
Hi, so I have two Play 1s, one Play 3 and a Connect – had them many years working fine in an apartment, no problems at all. Moved house to a bigger place, and the furthest-placed unit dropped in and out – that’s ok, I needed to get better wifi generally, so I got a mesh system. Sonos stopped working, so I do a bit of research and find out that Sonos doesn’t like mesh networks – ok, fair enough.Next step was to wire the Connect via ethernet to the router (it’s the nearest), then set up the system, it worked for a bit but then stopped working and the system on the app greyed out, says it can’t connect etc. I then read that you should remove the network password in the controller app to make sure the Sonos uses its own Sonosnet and does not try to connect to the the wifi network, ok fine, I did that too and set it up again. I check that the WM is 0 on the connected units like I am told, to make sure it’s all set up right. I think I’ve done it and it works for a bit but then it all stops a
Hi, I have just started getting a speaker drop out on a pair of Sonos ones. I already have the lag if playing everywhere which I can’t resolve but now it’s annoying that one keeps dropping out. Please can someone help?
For such an expensive brand, problem solving should be high priority, why is this not the case with all the problems the Sonos app has? Especially just fix the damn connectivity issue, most of the time my Speakers are useless. Until Sonos makes this a priority, I will not recommend Sonos nor buy more products.
Unable to pair Sonos Move with my device on bluetooth for the first time.I confirmed both are on the same wifi, software is updated, switched off and on the router, disconnected the app and turned on again. The chime and blue light turns on and then pressing again the button turns to blue light flashes. I tried several mobile phones and none can find the Sonos Move so, unable to pair.On wifi mode works well, never had problems. Can anybody help?
