I have Deezer set up as my streaming service in the sonos app (S2).When searching for a podcast that I can clearly find on deezer on the S2 app, I can’t find anything….Seems like something went wrong there...

Hi, I have 15 Sonos speakers in various configurations across several rooms. One of the speakers, a Sonos beam, was connected by ethernet cable direct to the router. This allowed the rest of the system to operate via Sonos mesh. Wi-Fi was disabled on all the remaining speakers. The “My devices” data on my internet hub showed all 15 speakers connected direct to an ethernet port via the beam. The system was operating with the Sonos S1 controller, was completely stable and performed flawlessly across all rooms and configurations. This morning i updated the system to the S2 controller. The download was somewhat clunky and appeared to crash at one point. At no point did the app ask to be connected to either a new or existing system. I now have the S2 controller, but all the speakers apart from the ethernet connected beam are now back on Wi Fi.  This is now causing major issues with missing speakers and continuous drop outs. I am now unable to disable the wi fi setting on any of the speakers

On my new Samsung galaxy s20fe sonos app unexpectedly closed after watching advertising images on first launch or pressing skip button... on my previous galaxy s8 everything was perfect

I recently bought two ikea sonos symfonisk systems and the experience has been beyond bad. To a point the two systems are basically unusable. Songs (streaming Spotify or Bandcamp) either refuses to start, just stops while playing, skips to a new song halfway or just skips halfway to not just the next song but a few songs ahead.I have a full S2 Sonos system all over the house with no problems. Two high-end routers in Mesh-setup, a Sonos Boost. Everything is updated and I still not accept a ‘it’s a wifi signal issue’ as an answer. As its clearly not that. The signal is fine, there are no problems anywhere with any other products then these two Symfonisk speakers. A cheap ‘smart speaker’ preforms better. Are these two systems simply broken and should I contact Ikea or is this something that can be solved through settings or somehow resetting them? It all seems very much more a software issue then anything else.

Please help us fix our system!We have 3 Play:1, 1 Play:3, and a Move. The play:3 has been having issues staying continuously connected for a couple months now. It was setup on a completely wireless system, but since then I hard wired the play:3 directly to the main network switch about a month ago. The play:3 continues to disconnect when playing and can at times be hard to bring into a group of speakers or just to get it to play at all. Today, the move also started cutting out. Nothing has changed on the network. TuneIn, Spotify, Local Music The behavior is always the same. I can recreate it by playing music - it happens at random, but reasonably frequently. Generally music stops playing for 1-3 seconds at least once each 5-10 minutes. Diagnostic number is 1649784927

Hello, I just wired with ethernet cat 6 my entire flat and decided to go to an all wired setup for my sonos system and everything seems to work just great after disabling wi-fi in all the devices and removing a sonos boost that was part of the setup. The problem Im having is only with the rears of my Arc+sub+2xplays 1s in my living room. They keep cutting out constantly. It is like the ambient sound cuts for half a second and comes back again immediately after but it just doesnt happen once, it keeps happening every ten seconds or so.And I think it only happens with dolby atmos (both TRUEHD and lossy one) on both my shieldTV and apple tv 4kAlready sent a diagnostic while it was happening with the number 809032159is there anything I can troubleshoot? It is a really annoying issue. thanks in advance

Since upgrading to S2, connect stopped working. call tech support. they say I have to replace the unit. Is this normal? 

Just now, 4:30PM eastern, 2021-02-28 all of my S1 controllers fail to find my Sonos systems.All a re at S1.  No S2.  I have Connect devices that must stay at S1, so my entire system is at S1.I have tried resetting individual systems - to no effect.Less than a week ago, I was given the option of “staying with” the S1 system.  Up until then, I got regular nag notices that I needed to upgrade to S2.  I do not want to do that.  I’m not sure if this is related, but it is a change within the last week.I have tried the S1 controller on Windows 10, iOS, and Android systems - all fail with the same message “Existing system not found.” Anyone else?Any ideas? 

Hi -I cannot get my gen 1 connect amp working with S1 app over wifi, only with ethernet cable. I have read other messages here saying to go into advanced network settings to update wifi password.I don’t see where this is possible, only a setting for wifi is enabled or not.Can someone please suggest how to get connect amp working with wifi?thanks!!

I have Playbase and 2 one’s. I just did the latest update to the app and gear on 3/9/21. Every time I turn off the Apple TV or listen to music, Sonos defaults the tv sound to my tv and music for the Sonos. I have auto play tv checked. 

New S1 is total crap app! I was very exited when I first got Sonos, it was working quite well.  Now I cannot play anymore any of the music on my device nor from NAS, Sonos cannot even find my NAS anymore. S2 is no improvement, actually in many ways even worse! I will never add to my Sonos collection and looking to get rid of the whole set of useless electronics!  Sonos is going down as a company, it will be a good short sell candidate!

Why does the Sonos iOS app often fail to connect? This has been a problem with both Sonos 1 and 2. Works for a few days then stops working. Same issue across different iPhones and iPads. All devices and speakers have full wifi signal. Only thing that fixes it is a full app reset which is a pain. What is the solution. Any response about rebooting routers or access points will be ignored. 10 years later, we’re well beyond basic trouble shooting of an unstable code base. What say you??

Hello, I have a troublesome Connect Gen2 that somehow can’t stay connected to my network for more than a few minutes. It doesn’t matter if it’s connected via WiFi or Ethernet, it always ends up disconnecting. I can sometimes get it back by rebooting it, others I need to factory reset. All my other Sonos products have a rock solid connection via WiFi.I’ve browsed through different other topics but couldn’t find any solution that worked.Is it possible that the device is actually dead, even though still “very partially” working ? Here are a couple of red flags I noticed while troubleshooting:The factory reset is hit and miss. Usually have to try up to 5 or 6 times to get it to end on the green status led. Most other attempts just blink amber/white 3 or 4 times then turn solid or blinking white again. After it stops working, I often still see it listed in the app, but when browsing the “About my system” tab it only shows its name and no other network details like for my other functioning d

HiI have 4 Sonos system in my house.Play5 (gen2)2x OneArcSince purchasing the latest Play One, the Sonosnet seems unstable.It is the second time now that all systems leave the network and can’t connect to wifi, except for the newest Play One which stays on the network.All are fairly near the router as I live in a small condo.In fact, when I try to connect the dropped system to my WiFi, they successfully get the password prompt, but entering the correct password leads to an “error, cannot connect”.Here is the latest diagnostic report #: 1097299673Thank You

I have 4 Amps connected in a wired ethernet daisy chain, which are then connected to a 24-port GE switch, which is in turn connected to my router.  All four have static IP Addresses, appear in the router’s client list, and show up in “my system” as online when logged into sonos.com via a browser.  Wireless on all 4 is disabled.  However, each one at some point will disappear from the app. I can tell when it’s about to happen.  When attempting to start music via Spotify in a room, if it doesn’t start playing right away, it will hang there for a while, throwing the “selected song cannot be played at this time” error before finally disappearing altogether.  I can only have it rejoin the system by power cycling the affected Amp, which is not totally simple as they’re in a rack.  This has been happening since install 2 years ago and I’m losing hope that there will be a software fix. 

Hello,I have multiple sonos devices. All of them are placed on WM = 0 as my ARC is wired.All other devices (Sonos Play: 1, Sub, Sonos Ones, Sonos Play_5s) are all on WM = 0 apart from a single Sonos One. I have power cycled it, factory reset to no avail.If I factory reset and wire it, it will show up as WM = 0; however as soon as I unplug the ethernet cable out of the One it goes back to WM = 1.Diagnostic 1596752830Any ideias? you help is appreciatted!    

Hello,Added XM app to the Sonos app the other day and everything was playing fine. Tonight it stopped streaming and is giving the error:“There was a problem adding the SiriusXM account. A connection to SiriusXM could not be made.”The account being used is an All Access account. I have tried removing the XM app, resetting the controller, updating the login and additional streaming login passwords on the account site, but still having the issue. Thanks.

Hi ,trying to join press release from the email I received , logged my name but then just stops, anyone else having this problem 

I keep getting a message that I have to many playlist for the Sonos App.  I have deleted 200 playlist from my music server and still the message.  I went through the Sonos Music Library imported playlist and found three that do not exist on my music server a Mac MiniLibraryMusicPurchasedHow do I delete these from Sonos? I called Sonos support and he said it was an Apple issue, then hung up.  I am not impressed with support.

Hi,Because I could not solve this error code as instructed (Sonos support page),  I’ve decided to replace my router with a Videotron's router, my Internet provider. I also reinstalled the latest version on my devices Samsung phone - (new) Ipad air2 - Samsung tablet (Android 10). All my systems has the latest version of the software but the system keeps trying to update the app !? Result, almost all of the settings are still not available. Now, the router can't be the problem, all of my componants have been reset..... Any suggestions ? Thanks

I bought a Port to play music from a Pro-Ject turntable to a couple of Sono One and a Subwoofer. The sound playing is so low you can barely hear it. what’s weird is there’s sound but it barely audible. Any suggestions?  tried switching cables. Resetting. And even did a couple of chants. Nothing seems to help. 

I’m currently unable to browse music via my ‘Favorite Tracks’ under Deezer within Sonos.  I also noticed that I’m unable to add tracks to queue from Deezer within Sonos.  I’ve tried this on both my phone and my wife's phone with the same results.  The issue appears to be unique to Deezer on Sonos. So far, I’ve reset the entire system and my router.  I’ve reset the app multiple times.  I’ve removed Deezer from Sonos and subsequently reauthorized it.  None of this has worked. Suggestions?

I have an Amp, Playbar and Play 5 in different rooms. I never updated to S2 as I didn’t want to use 2 different apps.  When I opened the Sonos App today, my amp is now gone. I can cast to it so I know it is still working, any thoughts as to why it disappeared from both my iphone app and desktop app?
