Hello, I’d you go to Spotify > scroll down to Songs > play any song, I am getting the following error: An error occurred while adding tracks to queue (701). Songs play fine if I play them through a playlist for example. I tried reauthorizing and the issue still happening. I submitted a diagnostic report as well: 2080463729. Thanks.
I have the following Sonos setup1 x Boost2 x Play:1s paired - kitchen2 x sonos Ones paired - living room1 x sonos Five - OfficeWhen I try to play any HD music(Tidal or Sonos Radio HD) with the speakers grouped together, the music drops in and out from speaker to speaker. Especially when I switch to a new song manually. Even when I play Sonos Radio HD on the kitchen by itself I’ll get drops or the music volume will lower itself intermittently. I contacted Sonos support and after hours of troubleshooting was transferred to their top tier support. He said my wireless looked clean with no interference and we went through a number of trouble shooting steps(changed wireless channels, changed controllers, etc..) with no luck. He said he was seeing buffer overruns in the logs but that was it. He eventually just recommended wiring all the speakers with ethernet which completely defeats the purpose of buying wireless speakers.Just wondering if anyone else was having similar issues with HD music
My situation:Amazon unlimited playlist containing 12 songs. 1 of those songs is repeated. when trying to play either ‘version' of that song within the playlist it fails saying error with encoding. if I create a new playlist with all songs just once they play perfectly. this coincides with me accepting the HD upgrade from Amazon music. the simple workaround is to only ever have a song in your Amazon music playlist once but it used to work, for years on the same playlist. It also means if you accidentally add your favourite song twice you’ll never hear it. Anyone else having this issue? Know if there is a plan to fix it?
This problem just started today. When I select my local ESPN radio station through Sonos, it only plays the commercials and not that actual radio station when they are on air. It will just go silent for 5 or 10 minutes until they go back to a commercial break. I have never experienced this before. Any ideas?
Has anyone experienced random bursts of loud popping coming from their play bar? I was just awoken at 2:00am by what can only be described as a continual ‘machine gun’ like sound coming from the speaker. This seems somewhat startling. Nothing like this has happened before.
My roam on occasion just stops working for Airplay. Works fine when I try with my Move. I’ve rebooted my router and comes back then cuts out again. Noticed this a few times already, other times works just fine. Thoughts?
I changed broadband providers and since then whilst Alexa response and acknlowedges my request:Alexa, play songs by Prince Playing songs by prince on spotify… nothing happs. I can access the sonos app or spotify app and play songs / media on any of my many devices… but none can be operates via Alexa.I have removed Alexa from all devices - no joyRemoved all services from sonos - no joyDisabled all skills on alexa and re-enabled - no you I have a beam, several ones… none work
Our office recently upgraded our wi-fi access points. (Same password etc mind, other devices worked seamlessly) As we couldn't get the Sonos speakers to connect, I have tried factory resetting and starting from scratch. After going through the setup process on the app (successfully!) The app says that the speaker has been added but may not appear in the system tab until after a reboot. After multiple reboots it still does not appear in the app and another factory reset and set up has not made a difference. At the moment, I am working with one single Sonos Play:1 for troubleshooting, but there is a whole building full of speakers that are essentially unusable. Any ideas?
BE WARNEDIf you have am Amazon Music Unlimited account and you upgrade it to Amazon Music HD, then any Amazon Music songs already stored in playlists within the Sonos app will no longer play. I had to get Amazon to remove the "upgrade". This resolved the issue immediately.
Had Sonos system for some years and it has worked satisfactorily but just recently a problem has developed whereby I can’t connect and get the message “unable to connect to Sonos “.Nothing has altered on our system which is controlled by two separate iPhones and an iPad all using Sonos 2 app.I have followed the instructions to fix problem and although it identifies my speakers it says cannot connect. For no specific reason it then starts working perhaps for a day then either the iPhones work and the iPad doesn't or only one iPhone works.Tied contacting sonos by phone but huge wait times.Mentioned my problem to daughter today , who lives 5 miles away , and she is experiencing exactly same problem.Any help appreciated.Regards
I am running Sonos S2 Ver 12.2.1 on an Android device and am unable to create a simple playlist of selected music I have copied to the SD card in my device despite having followed all the instructions about adding a song to a queue then adding it from there to a playlist. The app will not allow me to create a playlist. Now I have found a little phrase in a closed discussion that reads:“Note, you cannot add tracks on a mobile device to a playlist, only from My Music Library or music services.”My Music Library is something I recall had something to do with the dreaded iTunes- something I have happily had nothing to do with since switching to Android. Are you seriously telling me I can’t create a playlist in Sonos from my music collection?
Yesterday I started getting an error message when playing songs from my playlist...this only happens with the Amazon music streaming service. The error code is this song is not correctly encoded. I can add a song to the playlist, and play that but anything that was added before yesterday will not play and gives off this error message.Coincidentally, I also upgraded to Amazon HD music yesterday. No issues playing any other streaming services. I have rebooted my router (hard reset)I have also reset multiple speakersPlease help! Diagnostics submitted: 2108077815 Thank you.
I was playing my playbar at full volume, heard a pop and no more playbar.Lights don’t come on when powered up...I think it died...now what?
Diagnostics info confirmation number 1642358242 Can someone at Sonos tell me what’s going on?
Anyone have any idea why sonos connect just stopped connecting with my android phone 5-10-2021? No phone updates made. No wifi changes. Still connects with my laptop just fine.
Why is this happening again with the last update? Nothing has changed but now Sonos cannot connect to Spotify? Yes we have restarted everything, unplugged, rebooted, removed accounts and added again. Same result. Diagnostics submitted again.
My S1 is making crackling noises and is sounding awful. Any recommendations on how to rectify this?
Is anyone else having issues with Spotify via the Sonos S2 app?For the last few months, I have had consistent issues including: Lags in response to controls (change volume, skip, change playlist, add/remove rooms, etc.) for up to 15-20 seconds Music dropping out (10-30 seconds) immediately after any change to a stream (skip, change playlist, volume, etc.) Failure of stereo pairs to operate together, either briefly or permanently, most commonly after in response to changing any of the functions listed aboveI have chatted with wonderfully responsive Sonos support a number of times, and they have suggested the following, all of which I have tried to no avail: Change channels, which I have tried many times Change the position of my Bridge and wireless router - I have tried many configurations Validate that I have the Bridge connected to the proper port Ethernet port, which I have done. Nothing has worked with respect to Spotify, but oddly, I don’t see nearly as many issues when playin
Hello,My Sonos Playbar is not able to connect anymore. I reset to factory settings, restarted wifi, connected via ethernet. None of this worked. I can’t re-add the product: It searches, finds playbar correctly, then I push the buttons to complete connection and there it fails.Thank you for any help in advance!
We have four products which were all working fine on the S1 app, and all incompatible with S2. Two of them have stopped working and demand an update, which forces an update of the app on my devices to S2. So I thought I’d factory reset them (having tried all the reboot network options) and now when I try to add them using Add Product in the S1 app, they won’t connect, and again an app upgrade to S2 is forced. It’s in an endless loop. This system has worked perfectly for years. Have Sonos really now cocked things up, unless I upgrade everything to S2?
I was the lucky owner of a a Connect·Amp, and readily “upgraded” to AMP. Reconnecting the same speakers does not give me the same quality (expected an improvement). The speakers connected it 2 x Speakercraft Speaker (ACCUFIT ULTRA SLIM THREE) and a SpeakerCraft 8.2 BAS in-ceiling sub-woofer. The way they connected to Connect:Amp was connecting the 2 channels to the subwoofer, which then sends “non-bas” to the 2 speakers. With AMP that gives a very thin sound with a very light bas. Turning BAS to max makes it still under bas’ed.Please advise… About Accufit Ultra Slimhttps://www.evernote.com/shard/s1/sh/01eb69c3-7f8e-4cc6-95c7-b71d193e565d/05bf095bc6c81fa72f6bcaca653b02cf About 8.2 BAShttps://www.evernote.com/shard/s1/sh/fa2b0896-f400-40d7-9e31-960471d9bcc4/ababb1d64edd29a21d78c51a8cd48b6e
Just got two new Sonos Ones. Unplugged two old Play 3s and 5 (gen1) which we weren't going to use any more.Started set up using Sonos 1 app. Didn’t remove the three old items from the app. Think that was a big mistake! All well setting up first One. Then had an issue with the second One. Thought moving to the new Sonos 2 app might help.Upgraded but now in a horrible loop. S2 app says I have an item incompatible with it so I am sent to use S1 app to upgrade but that sends me back to S2. I can’t get out of this loop.Help greatly appreciated. Thanks
I just wanted to report that I had the BT Whole Home (mesh) network installed this week. As a result, the Sonos controller app now works in throughout the house - which is very convenient. My Sonos system uses a Playbase wired into my BT Home Hub. I have a Sonos Boost.
My Sonos will no longer recognise one of my Sonos Connects. When I try and add the Connect again as a new device the app tells me “App Update Needed” (the version of the App on my phone is 11.2.8). When I attempt to update the App I get an error message “Update problem”. The associated error code I click on more information is 1101.I have rebooted my router and wifi. I also also uninstalled the App and reinstalled it. I have also tried doing the update from my iMac. Nothing has worked.Does anyone have any suggestions?
I've have a SONOS PORT (connect to a record player) which has autoplay enabled for group Kitchen (containing 2 sonos ONE's)When spinning a record, the sound can be heard via the “Kitchen” speakers. When switching to Spotify, the sound is gone. The Kitchen ONE's are still visible in the app (no error/offline message is displayed), they just don't produce any sound/music. I can control the volume “slider”but this has no effect at all. No music is broadcasted. When putting a record back on (and autoplay kicks in) the Kitchen ONEs produce sound. (So I didn't reset/touched the Kitchen ONE's). Any idea what is happening and how this can be resolved? My entire SONOS setup is using my own wifi network, is not LAN connected and thus not using SonosNET. (This is a deliberate choice...see one of my other threads for the why part :-))Thanks for the support!
