My Playbase has ceased to connect to rest of the system over WiFi. The audio from the TV still comes through fine, and a wired connection works too. A permanent wired connection is not an option. After reviewing other topics, I have submitted diagnostics with confirmation number 1073629480. Can somebody please review and offer guidance?Thank you!
Hi all ok we’ve had this problem with our play 5 for a long time now (only speaker on on S1) the rest of the system is S2, anyways the play 5 randomly disconnects and stops the music for up to 30 seconds or so then carry’s on playing, it doesn’t disconnect as such but mutes the music but when it plays again it’s actually sounds like it’s been playing for that time period it was off (so as if the music is playing someones turned the volume down for a few seconds then turned it back up) we recently changed out WiFi router to a MeSH one and was hoping this would sort it out (like other issues) but it’s still the same. Could this be a network issue? All the speakers on the S2 app never seem to do this cheers

This is becoming a huge deal and it is really annoying. Just about every time I am playing music through Airplay to a Sonos speakers the music just stops being heard. The music is still playing in the app, but no sound from the speaker. I open the Airplay button, switch back to play on iPhone then pick the speaker again. It first tells me the speaker is unavailable then I pick it again and it plays from the speaker again. It might work for two songs or stop again. Very random. Anyone else having these issues. system is tens sonos speaker mix. airplay played for IOS (Phone, Ipad). I have disabled bluetooth. Didn’t fix anything. I followed apples recommendation to reboot (ha ha). I use airplay other devices devices that are not sonos and have no problem, only occurs with sonos devices.
I’ve had My Sonos since 2019. All of a sudden there is static and sounds like in and out on Radio. Diagnostic : 1714425429
Why does the alarm sometimes select to play a different radio station than the one I have told it to? I want it to play DR P4 but often it plays a commercial station instead, and I think it is The Voice. After all they are both danish stations. But it is very annoying.
I would like to play music from Spotify or Youtube on my iMac on my Sonos One ( Gen2 }If I select System preferences on the iMac for sound it says there are no output controls for the Sonos.Must be possible surely ?
I just received my new Roam speaker and I have to say this was a horrible purchase and experience. I run two SONOS systems at two different homes approximately 20 Sonos speakers in all. One home is an older Sonos system running on S1 and the Roam is on the other house which operates S2 with S2 compatible devices. The speaker will not always connect and when it does it connects for 20 seconds and then shuts off. Upon researching the issue online this is a known problem with the Roam. So disappointing. I have looked on many discussion boards and the reviews are the same. What a disappointment. I will be posting additional posts regarding this issue and my unfortunate experience. I have followed all of the instructions for resetting, restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

I have two devices, directly connected to the router with a cable. One of the devices drops at random, stops playing, and then after a while returns on its on. Sometimes while this happens the speakers make a loud clicking sound. I captured a diagnosis after this happened once:452604873. Thanks.
I have 2 Play 1’s, and they won’t connect. Only one will connect and it says not compatible and tries to update me to Sonos S2 controller. S2 controller won’t recognize the system and says it’s not compatible.
My soundbar optical cable is making the sound glitch when watching films on Netflix ,amazon, ect YouTube and TV the sound is fine. They used to work fine together. I have swapped the cables to a new optical line and it still does it. If I change settings to TV sound it works fine but there is lots of delay between TV and soundbar. Please can any reply be put into simple english. I'm not computer savvy. Cheers all.
For some reason the Sonos application shows my two Roam speakers are playing, but there is no sound coming from them. I called Sonos support and they nicely talked me through a solution that worked:Turn off the speakers. When off, push the power button and hold for six seconds. The speakers will make a sound and turn off again. Wait 20 seconds or so. Power the speakers back up and they worked.Hope this helps someone.
Hi,I have a continuos problem with Sonos One which keep on disappearing almost once a week. When I restart it with factory settings it’s working again. But it’s pretty frustrating doing it every week…I have changed the location with no luck and a app function finding the missing sonos doesn’t find anything. Any help?
I have 10 play ones, two subs and one Arc in my Sonos system. Just like everyone else, I’ve experienced constant speaker drop out. At the behest of Sonos I purchased a Boost. Problem not solved. After reading numerous comments, i thought adding a second wired Boost to my network would finally fix my problem. Totally made the problem worse. In spite of what Sonos says, Boosts DO NOT WORK. Total waste of money. After moving it all over my house to “find the best spot” i have removed both Boosts from my Sonos set-up. Now with my only my router managing my Sonos speakers, I get significantly REDUCED speaker drop out. I have two used Boosts available for anyone that wants to waste their time
Dear all,I am using Deezer Family with my Sonos system:4 pairs of Sonos One, one of the pairs with a Sub 2 Play 5 Sonos Controller S1 All fixed IPsWhen I group more than 3 pairs of Sonos One (incl. Sub), the 4th pair starts the music with a delay, and then starts/stops randomly. With only 3 pairs (incl. Sub), there is no problem. It doesn’t matter which pairs I group, but as soon as I have more than 7 loudspeakers grouped, it doesn’t work any more.Funnily enough, everything (up to all 11 loudspeakers) works perfectly with my NAS. Stable, fast, no issue at all. It’s neither a internet connection issue (600Mb fibre), nor an access point issue, as it is close to the loudspeakers.Nor is it a Wifi interference issue, as there is only one access point with 2.4GHz, and no interfering signals (checked with a Wifi analyzer). Also tried all different wireless channels.Nor is it my access point. Tried setup with Sonos Boost. Much worse than now where I can play at least 6 Sonos One and my Sub simu
I have an older Connect Amp. It’s working fine. It used to be when I turned the volume all the way down, it would display a solid green light. Now, when I turn the volume all the way down I get a solid red light. Not orange. Red. Otherwise working fine. What does this mean? Thank you.
Been using the Port for more then 1 year and was faced with multiple drops outs (see other topics for this)After having purchased a BOOST, all the drop outs were gone and I even switched the audio delay back from max to low. Have enjoyed this setup, with no delay and no drop outs, for more then 6 months.Unfortunately I had a power outage last week and since then the drop outs are back :-(Have taken all my sonos devices off power and back on again to intiate some kind of reset,,,but all in vain. The drop outs remain :-(Is there a way I can check if my BOOST is still working properly? (I can see that all my devices are on WM:0, so I guess it is...as there are NO Wifi credentials listed in SONOS)Does anyone have an idea on whats going on…..and how to fix? (Nothing has changed on my setup….I only encountered a power outage) Btw: Sometimes the sound drops completely (and the only way to get it back) is to select another source (eg spotify) and then go back to line in (which is the turntable
Hi, I own a Apple TV 4K, a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and a brand new Samung Q70 tv. When I pause something in Netflix and then unpause it the sound is gone. The same happens when I change episode. Anyone has some idea’s what is wrong? Chris
Watching a movie the from my nvidia shield the sound goes up and down almost like you turned on the loud modediag 1060090213
Hello, ive recently moved property, bringing all of our Sonos stuff with us. In the old place, I had a dedicated SonosNet up and running as my Playbase was right next to the router, so it was easy to run an Ethernet cable directly, so then all devices showed up as WM:0 as expected. In the new place, my router isn’t in the same room so I bought a Boost and hardwired it to the router. Frustratingly, some devices were still showing as WM:1. I restarted them all, which fixed some… but I cannot get the Playbase to show as WM:0. Am I just being pedantic and Sonos is intuitively selecting the strongest signal or is there something I am missing? It would be nice to get all devices on the SonosNet, reducing WiFi traffic on the router. thanks
First time here hoping for some help.Purchased two Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers as a start for my full setup but I cannot for the life of me get them connect to my network, I keep getting the Error code 1002 more info states this is an update failure on the speaker itself and iv power cycled them multiple times with no change.I keep getting asked to re-log back into the app aswel, anyone able to sling me some advice?Thankyou in advance.
I am not sure which is more annoying, Sonos or Netgear. Neither offer a user friendly experience but I am learning a lot about both trying to get them to get along together. My Sonos system (S1) regularly drops rooms and skips through songs on Deezer. A new device connecting to the router is enough to start Sonos acting up e.g. someone arrives at the house and their phone connects to WIFI. I read disconnecting the bridge helps - done, and some improvement. I read reserving IP addresses helps, so I began the process through the router web GUI. After adding a few of the SONOS components, it became obvious that the device name could not include spaces or punctuation.I then found I could not enter any device without a “invalid name” response. In desperation, I deleted all the previous reservations. but I still received the invalid name, even for devices that had been added without issue before.I then remembered I had changed the router name to “Loft Router”. I tried removing the space and h
