Hacked Sonos account. Need to reset email

Hi, I have a number of Sonos products at various rental properties. At one property the Gen 1 Play 5 seems to have been hacked and the email changed to someone who stayed there. How on earth do I reset it without the password for this account?

The user is likely to have just ‘factory reset’ the device and then setup the speaker on some random account, or perhaps their own account, rather than them ‘hacking’ into your account.

You can just do a factory reset yourself in this instance and add the device back to your own original account. If you are still concerned after that, then perhaps also change your login credentials. Here is a link to the Sonos device factory reset process:
