Looking for a man cave solution. I have 7 TVs set up in sports bar fashion. I’m curious how I can get the ability to select which tv I want to source the sound to the sonos speakers connected to my Sonos amp. Just like at a sports bar. All the games on but I want the ability to select which one I want sound from.

After dozens of annoying trial and error sessions (with mostly errors :) I want to briefly share what finally worked.Long ago the issues arose when installing my new ZenWiFi AX XT8 mesh system, when the Sonos system wouldn’t connect at all to the system. By trouble shooting turning things like the QoS off etc, I got it to work fairly stable. Until a recent FW update (3.0.0.4.388_24688) when the issue began with intermittent audio dropouts from my two Play:3 speakers, which are used as surround sound speakers in my Sonos system alongside the Sonos Arc (connected by network cable) and Sonos Sub (Gen 3). Both Play:3 speakers would simultaneously cut out for one or two seconds before resuming playback, and this happened ever 5-10 seconds. Needless to say, VERY annoying. Despite having the Arc connected via LAN cable, the Play:3 speakers continued to experience dropouts, which disrupted my overall audio experience.Steps That Didn’t Resolve the Problem: Disabling Airtime Fairness and QoS: Do

I have concerns regarding the possibility of replacing my SONOS ONE Surrounds with SONOS ERA 300s because I do not use a Sound Bar.  I do use two hard wired Klipsch book shelf speakers as the front speakers with a Klipsch 12” Subwoofer.  These sound great together so I dont want to screw it up.  Any similar concerns or experience with this proposed design using the ERA 300s?

Recently purchased & installed STARLINK GEN-3 system…  SONOS won’t connect…  I’d prefer not spending any more money, but I see discussions regarding connecting an additional router to STARLINK router??  I’m not a technical guy - not my lane!  I  no absolutely nothing about Dual-Band routers…  Is there a preferred Dual-Band router that works best with both STARLINK & SONOS so I can make this work…  I’ve got a lot invested in SONOS speakers.  Thanks.

Hi - since s2 app update a couple of weeks ago I've not been able to control my sonos system by app. I tried updating the network whilst in my home office and successfully updated my roam in there, which then let me access the system in the rest of the house. However, when I try access the system from the rest of the house, which is covered by different access points as part of the sky q mesh, the app doesn't find a system. It wants me to update the network on the sonos devices,  but doing that results in error and back to square one. I don't really want to keep running across the garden to control the system ‐ it's there a work around? 

Does Sonos have a recommended/proven router/wifi extension mesh system that works best for Era 100 and Move2 wireless speakers in the home?  I am currently using a Zyexl router and Eeros wifi mesh and Sonos system disconnects constantly as it is seeing a “shadow” network and IP addresses.  When I unplug the Eeros wifi mesh, I have no issues with speaker connectivity, but I need the wifi mesh system for wifi coverage in the whole house.Please send me any recommendations for router/mesh system combinations that have been shown to work with Sonos systems.

Hi all,I have a Sonos Arc in a surround setup with two Era 300’s and a Sub. I bought a Sonos Port to connect my turntable with build in amplifier to the setup but I can’t make it to work. When I try selecting the Arc to play it says “Unable to connect. Try again later.”Has anyone else had this problem and if so, do you know how to fix it? 

I have multiple Sonos components, Beams, Sub, Amp, Roam, Play 3s, Ones and the whole system used to work just fine through the whole house. At some point (and I must admit I followed the crowd and blamed it on one of the updates), the two units at the furthest end of the house started playing up. Disappearing from the system, losing connection, etc. They are a pair of Ones, linked as a stereo pair. Anyway eventually I took acloser look and the whole system had switched over to WM:1, uncommanded. It had always been on Sonosnet and had been fine. The two troublesome units are borderline outside the wifi range for the house. My Amp was the primary unit and was still wired to the router, so I switched it to wired but that hasn't fixed it. It shows WM:0 in the system but everything else is still WM:1 and the problem persists (the rest of the system is fine, but it is well within range of the router). I can’t find a way to switch the rest of the system over to Sonosnet again. Is there a quic

It goes without saying that if you have the technical know-how for setup/configuration (or someone who does) there are major benefits to owning your own router or Mesh networking hardware. I’m only going to focus on one of the benefits as it relates to Sonos.You can search this community and I’m sure you’ll find a plethora of posts bemoaning difficulty when changing routers and/or ISP’s (Internet Service Provider). The most common problem I see in the community is SSID (Service Set Identifier) and Password compatibility with Sonos when moving to another ISP using their provided modem and router.  Although most ISP supplied hardware today are combo units with integrated modem/router in one enclosure.  The SSID and Password are a simple fix. Regardless of what the ISP has used for SSID/Password (usually found somewhere on the enclosure) you can request that your SSID/Password be applied instead of using theirs. Hey all,I've recently moves and had to get a LTE router. The Sonos One and Roam SL I had before won't connect to the router though.I understand from the support team, that LTE routers are not supported but  I read in some comments that people use them successfully.I did split 2,4GHz and 5GHz and also checked rest of the router settings are as suggested on the support site. However that's where my tech savviness tragically ends…Do I need to connect a “normal” router to get it to work? Any tips would be very welcome and appreciated 🙏Thank you!

Hi all! I’m having some issues with connectivity since the last two updates, system is:play:1 Arc SubI had an Asus xt8 running in AP mode for years, everything was working fine since I got the system setup.I have around 20 wireless clients that are not experiencing issues on wifi, I have now changed the AP to a different vendor but the same issues persist with Sonos being the only devices that are having issues. Now the arc and sub are dropping out, but play:1 is connected.Whenever trying to play something from the Sonos app, it just doesn’t work, it says it starts playing but nothing happens then the devices drop out of the app to just suddenly reappear.I only have two neighbouring SSIDs at channel 11, so I’ve tried channel 1-6 for the wifi, I’ve tried creating an ssid without wpa2, 2.4Ghz only, factory resetting everything then rejoining the devices to the new SSID I’ve created. But nothing seems to help, both arc and sub are disconnecting from the app frequently and AirPlay is not w

Hi  I am trying to figure out a way to use my existing set up to project movies in my backyard using a projector  I have 3 Sonos amps — 1 amp is for 6 speakers and a sub for the left part of the yard — 2nd amp is for additional 6 speakers and a second sub for the right side of the yard — 3rd amp if for the family room inside the houseand I have some complementary Sonos moves and Sonos 1 around the house  I investigated the proper setup with bets buy geek squad in 2022 and the final outcome was to get the Sonos bridge and connect everything wirelessly, however I never pulled the trigger and it appears that not the bridge/port and other options are no longer available.  what are my options here ? Wireless? Wired ? Can I connect 2HDMI (amp 1&2) to the projector outside ? It’s a long way for an HDMI cable. Just saying.    

I’m very confused!!! I have a Sonos arc connected to my lg HDMIearc port, now for example I have premium subscription to Netflix which should allow me to listen with Dolby Atmos but it doesn’t and none of the films that should be available in Dolby Atmos display Dolby Atmos, they just show 4k and HDR, can anyone help me with my dilemma 

Just purchased Starlink Gen 3 and my Sonos (Player 1) will not connect (cannot be detected).  I am not tech savvy and I am looking for help with an explanation in non tech language if possible.  I have used TP-link router prior to Starlink for my other internet service.  Can my Sonos system be “found” using Starlink network somehow?  Thank you for any help, step by step is best.

Hi,This page lists Sonos products that support WPA3 security. Among the devices *not* in this list (I would personally like to know for a Sonos Play-1 but it'd be nice to have this information for all products) is it known which of them support:WPA2-PSK-SHA256 (use of SHA-256 as the hashing method instead of SHA-1, the latter being cryptographically broken) WPA3-SAE transition mode (WPA3-SAE but with the possibility to fallback on WPA2-PSK in case the client does not support the former protocol)From experience it seems the Sonos Play-1 at least does not support WPA2-PSK-SHA256, but I'd like to be sure as, again, WPA-PSK without SHA256 is cryptographically insecure. Thanks !

About a week ago, I started getting access errors when trying to play from my music library on my Synology NAS. I am running all S2 Sonos components, and I’ve made no SW changes to the NAS in well over a month. I’ve been successfully running my music library for several years, save for the disaster last spring when Sonos made the major app change. It’s been running fine since the new app stabilized.I deleted the library in Sonos using the PC desktop app, restarted the app, and then set up a new Music Library. The library was correctly discovered, including music I added last week. I can browse to the music I want to play in the Sonos app on the PC desktop and multiple android devices. However, when I try to play the music I can browse to, I receive an "access error." This applies to every album I have tried (several dozen at this point). How can Sonos have access errors to the very music Sonos just discovered?I have confirmed that I can access the SMB share from two phones and a tablet

I hve multiple SONOs 1, 5 and a 7   Is there any way they can connect to a Starlink networks as it uses WPA3 Network Security Protocol?

I have 2 home networks, the family network (call it “Fam”) and an IoT network (call it “Dev”). The Sonos devices are on the IoT, as are my Apple HomePods (which I use for voice control). The family’s iPhones are on the family network. The two networks can see and address one another, although they are on different netblocks. At the moment there is no firewall between the two networks.Devices on Fam can see the Sonos speakers. For instance, I can ping them from my computer. But I cannot AirPlay to them, and they do not show up on in the Sonos app. I cannot control them from Siri on the Fam device. If I switch the device to Dev, it can see the Sonos devices, identify them in AirPlay, and control them.It used to work across networks until I switched the Fam network to a new device. The biggest relevant difference I can see is the new Fam network requires a new netblock. So my guess is that AirPlay and other device discovery is just using the broadcast IP on the netblock to find the Sonos

Currently have an Arc with a pair of Symfonisk bookshelf speakers as surrounds. Now with the Arc Ultra out, I'm need help deciding what to upgrade.Do I upgrade the Arc to the Arc Ultra and keep the Symfonisks as surrounds?Or do I upgrade the Symfonisk speakers to Era 300s, and keep the Arc?It's about the same amount of money. I listen to quite a bit of music with this setup (other Sonos speakers throughout the home). I'm not sure if I consume Atmos content, not sure my TV can pass it through the arc channel.What would you do?

Looking to set up my system to work with my tv and Phillips  hue lighting. I can’t find any help

I have a Synology NAS device. When I get a new CD, I rip it and send it to my Synology device. My Sonos One uses this as the source for my music library. The issue is, whenever I copy a new set of files to Synology it takes sometimes a whole day before the Music Library in my Sonos app is updated. Is there a way to force the library to update immediately after copying the files to the Synology device?

Sonos Community, would love some advice, I want to add Sonos to my home and build, would love input on how many amps I would require and speaker choice. i was thinking, in the living room have the new Sonos Arc and Sub moving to the kitchen and dining having a ceiling mounted speaker in each and for the outdoor room Having a speaker above the living room window looking at the outdoor space and another above the other window looking towards the pool. 

Hi there. I have two older Sonos speakers (both Play 1) that I would like to connect to a record player. I know that the newer era and five speakers have a line in feature (and I would prefer to have the benefits of a third speaker than go for the Port). My question is whether I can use the line in feature on a new era or five, to connect the phono to my existing sonos network. Ie is there a way to get the record player sound coming out of all 3 speakers, via an era or five, or will it just come out of the new speaker? Many thanks in advance.
