Hi ...I have an Audrino set up to play music from my wall box by connecting it via a ribbon cable from the digital keypad. At the moment it works fine but it is only connected to a set of pc speakers through the audrino output using a 3.5mm jack plug … I have a small spare Acer pc that will fit into the wall box easily … the PC has a 3.5mm jack for microphone and also for head phones.. Is it possible to connect the audrino using a 3.5mm cable to the PC, then use the Wifi on the PC to connect to the WIFI on my Sonos system

then use the Wifi on the PC to connect to the WIFI on my Sonos system

No.  There’s no Sonos audio player software for a PC, that can share audio directly from PC to a Sonos speaker over Wifi.  There are Sonos speakers that have line in capabilities and bluetooth that could get connect to your audrino directly, or vla BT transmission on the PC or a separate bluetooth transmission.  Please note that there will be a lag in the audio though, which may or may not be an issue for your use case.

If you are just fooling around an older Connect would be an inexpensive option. Just make sure it supports the Sonos OS version (S1 or S2) you are running.
