Since the recent update I can not see my SONOS system. My Pllaybase and SONOS One surround speakers work but I have no app control anymore. I have tried all of he normal things I have had SONOS since mid 2000s so som experience. Any ideas on how I get it all working again?
Are you able to hardwire the Playbase to your router with an ethernet cable to see if that solves the issue?
Some users have had this problem and using an ethernet cable has solved it.
Thanks, Yes I have a range extender/booster that I can connect to so will give it a try tomorrow
Directly to the router would be better……

Using a range extender is not recommended by Sonos.

Connecting the Playbase directly to the main router is what you need to do.
Amazon and others have decent and long. 20 to 100 foot Ethernet cables for good prices.
I spent a couple extra bucks to get a flat one that is easy to store. A couple more bucks to get a colored one the spouse prefers to “too visible” black.

Unfortunately the NBN into the house & subsequently the router/modem is in an out of the way cupboard on the other side of our single level home so a long way away.
I had the SONOS Boost (S1 System) plugged into an extender that was in turn ethernet wired to the router & the only free ethernet socket was on the Boost so I tried connecting the Playbase directly to that. Instant success it has connected & has allowed me to connect a few of my SONOS components so now to resurrect some of my older AMPs that i have not used since moving to our current house.
I still have no idea as to what was the reason all stopped communicating as nothing in our Wi-Fi/NBN was changed. Thank you for the help & suggestions.
One more SONOS task to do, fix the power supply on an original Play 5 still one of my favourite SONOS components, such a great sound out of a compact unit. I have two one working & one not. :(
