Alright… I hope someone can help me with the following question because so far I couldn't find a clear answer.

My current setup: Beam + 2 x One SL + Sub

The Beam is connected to the TV and ethernet and the rest of the setup is connected to the Beam through the wireless Sonos system.

Currently I'm looking for a vinyl player and would like to buy the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable (Sonos Edition).

I'm thinking I could buy the Sonos Port and connect the Port to my setup through the Beam using the wireless Sonos system. The vinyl player is also connected to the Port (wired) and this way I can use vinyl with my setup. Is this thought process correct? If this works, will it use the whole setup or only the Beam?

Yes, your thoughts are correct. Less expensive option would be an Era 100 with Sonos USB-C adapter.

I could then connect the Era 100 with the rest of the setup to get the same outcome? Or would I only have audio with the Era 100?

You could play to either or to both rooms. Or play the vinyl to the room with the Beam and stream music to the Era.

Line-In is simply a resource on the network that can be played in any combination of Rooms. It’s not automatic or required that Line-In be played on the device that is physically hosting the Line-In.

I also have a Play 5 gen 2. Would that do the same or is there a difference with the Era 100?

The Play:5 Gen 2 has the required Line-In.  You just need an ‘RCA male to 3.5 mm Stereo male’ cable.
