Hello all, I’m after so advise regarding my PS5 set up. I currently use a speakerless gaming monitor with my PS5, but I use a USB speaker for the audio. I’m looking to upgrade that speaker to a Sonos Beam, but to connect the Sonos to the monitor it needs either a HDMI ARC or Optical output, which my monitor doesn’t. So, my question, If I purchase an Audio Extractor with Opticsl output, would that work?HDMI in from my PS5 - HDMI out to my monitor/Optical out to my Sonos speaker?

Hi, We are having a loft converted and I am creating a TV/cinema space. I am intending to buy an Arc but am concerned about its effectiveness given the shape of the room. The room is rectangular, but has sloping ceilings as per the attached image. Could someone offer any advice? 

I get this email about upgrades and I have no idea what the upgraded product does nor do I know how it compares to what I have now.  Since you know what a customer has, it would help if you provide that information.  I have no idea where to go to find the answer.  This support system is very confusing for an over 50 user.

Good morning. I have purchased a pair of Sonos Five in white (unfortunately the black ones were not available) with a shipping date of 11 June. The platform has requested authorisation to complete the payment in my bank, however it has not withdrawn the funds for the two speakers. I wanted to know when the payment process will be completed. Is it going to be done any time between now and 11 June or is it only charged when it is shipped. Thank you. 

Looking to set up a 5.1 surround sound using a pair of  Sonosceiling speakers as the rears and an arc for the centre with a sub, do I need an amp?

which Sonos speaker has an Alexa built in?

So basically looks like my options are Sonos Branded Mount (only seems to be sold on Sonos.com)  Flexson Mount (which supposedly is easy to install) but almost as pricey as the Sonos Brand or the Sanus one which is supposedly ½ the price but seems like its the most complicated to install. Can’t find any reviews on the Sonos branded one but both the Flexson and Sanus have pretty decent reviews with the Flexon leading in the amount of reviews.

I'm confused over the upgrade discounts.I knew when S2 was announced, those that were not compatible got the 30% upgrade and i have 2 of those. But i now also see a Connect Amp, another Connect that are the newer versions OK with S2, giving 15%off. Why is that?Will the newer Connect Amps and Connect that are good for S2 now, somehow be no good for S2 in the future, and its Sonos way to try and get you off them now? Or can I be confident they will always be ok on S2 app? 

Roam is arriving shortly, and I was wondering if there are any plans for a discrete wall mount? It would be great to be able to put it somewhere which is not a table or desk! 

I am switching out my old sound/speaker system in my 1400 sq. ft. hair salon.  No more ceiling speakers (6).   What I need is help with the system, I’m completely confused.  Do I need the Five Wireless and then bundle with several OneSL?  If so, how many?  They will be installed on top of the styling tower stations.  Thanks for your help!

Graag ervaring van personen die al de roam gebruiken. Volgens verschillende topics zie ik veel klachten betreffende batterijduur die geen  10 u en ook geen 10 dagen in stand-by. Klopt dit ? Of zijn er gebruikers die hier geen problemen mee hebben? Mod Edit: Added English translation:Like experience from people who already use the roam. According to various topics I see many complaints regarding battery life that is not 10 hours and not 10 days in standby. Is this correct ? Or are there users who have no problems with this?  

Our Canton DM5 soundbar has recently packed in after 6 years, unfortunately i cants get it repaired. We have a pair of Sonos speakers in the lounge paired in stereo, a One model ,the other an SL, they are both controlled by a Amazon Echo Dot. I was thinking of maybe buying a Sonos Beam, but i wouldn't want it connected in any way to the speakers we have, neither of us are interested in surround sound or cinema sound. Would we be able to just have the Beam soundbar for the TV with no Alexa on it., and in no way linked to the stereo pair. Another option is a Sonos Playbar, that would be a refurb one from Sonos , i did have a demo on one of these a good few years back but couldn't justify the price then. Any advice appreciated

Currently have Beam with new TV. Want to get Roam for music and need to know if I can use Bluetooth between Roam and Beam (the audio push) when the TV/Beam is turned off.

I’m hoping someone from Sonos can check out my order and give me an ETA on shipping.Tried contacting Sonos via the online email form, but have had no answer from them at all. 

So here is the situation. I have a beam and two sonos 3's in my living room. They are on S2. I really want to play my vinyl on sonos but can't afford to spend that much. Someone will sell me a play:5 (1st gen). If I get that, will I be able to plug my vinyl player into that speaker and it play through all my sonos speakers? I understand I might have to downgrade to S1 but from what I read that isn't that difficult or an issue. Any advice would be very welcomeThanks

Hello I’m considering buying something like Cambridge audio Evo 75 or Cambridge cxn v2. Question is: if I connect any of these devices from pre out to play 5 line in, I’ll be using the Sonos dac? How will sound quality would be versus direct streaming from iPad ?

I think I'm in need of a speaker selector switch to control the volume outputs, do you have any reccomendation on something with 6 or more zones?1 zone - for the theater room 1 zone - for outside 1 zone - den 1 zone - master bedroom 1 zone - kitchen

At the moment I just listen to music and radio on a 2nd gen play 5. We are putting a tv in the morning room and I’d like stereo sound, I’d also like the option of having a speaker at the far kitchen end for when I just want music or radio in the kitchen. It’s rare that the music is played at any great volume, just want the quality therefore thinking of Sonos Beam with Alexa under the tv, poss 2 x SL Ones in the morning room and then 1 x SL One at the far end of the kitchen, and then sell the play 5. I gave an arc in my living room but don’t want to spend that much on the set up for these two rooms. any thoughts/ suggestions for the best system for this room combination  thanksdave 

I’ve been a Sonos user at my primary home for over 10 years, having a very simple Sonos setup that works well for me since I already had a high end stereo system. However, I now live up to 50% time in a second location - a 1 bedroom flat. I’d like to port my music there as follows: attach an external HD with the Sonos music files to a generally idle computer and play it via Sonos without benefit of a stereo system.A friend has volunteered to give me her old S1 components, but I don’t understand the set-up without a conventional stereo & stereo speakers to know whether I could put something simple together from what she has (and which components I should claim). My modem/router is a different room than the one where my speakers would be, so I assume that I would need a Sonos bridge. I have a good quality pair of Bose computer speakers if that would be useful, but have no other stereo equipment other than a cheap 1-piece stereo for playing music on an iPod (so of no use for Sonos).
