What to get

Hi,I have one pair of Bose speakers currently on my Deck powered by Bose amplifier.I am planning to add another pair of speakers on my patio.I want to have the flexibility of able to control each pair separately - i.e., I want to be able to play same music on both pairs, or switch off one pair. Or even control volume on each pair.I am planning to buy two SONOS amp to do this and connect each pair separately to each SONOS Amp. Will it work? Will I be able to control each pair separately OR all together - Play same or different music on both pairs, or even turn off one pair.Also, for another pair of speakers, do I stick with BOSE outdoor speakers , or I can buy any other speaker with causing any interference?Thanks

Just had an aha moment today listening. I have a set of Play 1s (Blue Note Editions but same as other versions just a unique color) in my 12’ x 15’ Office. While normally I have these as background music as I am taking phone calls, working, etc. I had an opportunity to let the dogs out today as I was doing a bunch of cleaning in the office, no work. WOW, I just realized how incredible they sound when paired up with Sonos Radio HD (listening to Guitar Gods) station and turned up (maybe 25%). While one of them would be good enough in a room this size I just need the stereo channeling for my tastes and I was just blown away. The interplay, detail and the fine tuning that they have done with these in conjunction with it is just awesome. If you are ever in doubt between 1 or 2-get 2 you will never be sorry.

Hello, I am getting ready to purchase a Sonos ARC and a SUB.for surround speakers I am going to get the “In-Ceiling Set”https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/amp-and-ceiling-set.htmlWill these all work together? Does anyone have this setup? Are they happy with it?I was trying to find some docs on how I would connect the Sonos ARC and the AMP that comes with the “In-Ceiling Set”Thanks for any help 

Anyone know what the problem is with availability of the Sonos Beam in black?Consistently shown as out of stock and only available in white. Same problem with main stores. Is it just a supply problem for the UK or is it being discontinued? Hopefully not!

We have the following currently: 1x Playbar, 2x Play 1, and 2x One SL.My wife REALLY wants to just pick a CD from our collection and put it into a player an play. I have tried the ripped CD route and it just isn’t her cup of tea. I see that the Five can play CDs and for an extra $100 it makes sense to me to just get that instead of the Port. What CD player can someone recommend that doesn’t break the bank (I see Dennon and others for like $400 which seems excessive just for something to play CDs)? I guess it would need the 3.5mm jack output to go into the Sonos Five? Looking for recommendations that don’t involve ripping my CD collection and a decent CD player $100-200 that will work with Sonos Five

I just purchased a Sonos Roam - probably my 9th piece of Sonos equipment. I tried to hook it up to my system and basically it says that I cant connect this thing unless I throw out all my old SONOS gear. Are you guys short on money or something? This just seem pretty pathetic for a real company to brick all their old equipment. My father has Bose speakers from the 70 that work great.... I just cant believe you would do this to your customers. Is there any way to just listen to this thing with my blue tooth or do I need to register and have the app? What about my friends... Do they need to register and have the app too? If I want to listen to this at my friends house and he has existing Sonos can I use it without him having to brick his old Sonos gear? So many questions abut your goal here??

I own a Beam, 2 Sonos one and a Sub, I love watching movies and listen to music. What's your best setup for the speakers? I've found myself lowering the volume of the sub and having the volume of the one's all the way up. I'd love to read the setup of your choice. 

Ready for my next purchase. Which is better, Move or Roam?

Hello everyone,I’m about to buy my very first Sonos product. My plan is to buy a Beam and 2 One SL for the TV, 2 One SL in the kitchen (right near by the living room) and 2 One SL in the bedroom (right near the living room too). I have a Playstation 5, a Nintendo Switch and an Apple TV.How to connect everything to be sure that it works as simply as possible? My wife will kill me if it takes too long to start the whole thing or if you want to switch from the Apple TV to the Playstation. In addition to this, there is wifi everywhere and RJ45 right behind the TV and in the bedroom.Thanks a LOT for your help :)

I have no experience with Sonos, but i think this is the best choice.Building new house, at first I need some basic knowledge (minimum setup in al rooms) to be able to discuss further.In living room will be TV and projector  with free-standing two stereo speakers. Sonos as a cinema system (in wall or ceiling).Depending on the specifics of the object, there can be no cables from house to outdoors (to second floor jacuzzy zone or fireplace zone, steam house).All equipment is planned in technical room no 11.Proposals can be drawn by hand (easer to understand for me), with the SONOS equipment layouts /schemes. The area in square meters is indicated next to the rooms numbers.  I currently have a Connect (Gen 2) connecting a pair of 25-year old Bose ceiling speakers. The Bose subwoofer is broken. Can I just buy a Sonos subwoofer and be good to go?  If not, and I buy Sonos ceiling speakers, can I use my Connect (Gen 2) or do I need to upgrade that to an Amp? 

I'm thinking about buying Sonos Arc, I don't have that much money but I wanted to invest in it, I saw some videos, and they say that with two more OneSL the Arc's sound doubles (at least in music), is it true? and is it worth buying these SLs? (I already have a play:1, is it worth buying the second one instead of the two Sls?)Or should I wait a little longer and buy the set with the Sls and the sub?And by the way, is the Sonos Amp worth it for this surround?   

Would you prefer to have a stereo-pair of Sonos for gaming or use a headset? Anyone using Sonos for virtual reality yet?

I want to play anything I have connected to my Arcam Solo Movie on my Sonos network. Is this possible? I assume I’d need a Sonos Port? What connections would I need?I assume this would also allow me to play streamed music etc from Sonos app on/through my Arcam/wired speakers?I’ve seen lots of articles about connecting a turntable to the Port but that’s not what I’m looking for.

Will a gen 2 sub work with Sonos Arc ?
