What to get

If I purchase two Fives and Subwoofer, do I need an Arc? I don’t necessarily care about surround sound but want a good home audio system. Haven’t bought Sonos before. Thx. 

So far have only used Sonos for music. I am now planning to change to Sonos for TV and wondered about either a Beam Gen 2 with the Submini, or the Arc on its own. My main question is which alternative gives best all round sound, including regular listening to music only. Not planning to use Dolby Atmos. Price seems roughly equivalent. Might add rear speakers in future but probably not. Currently have conventional 5.1 home cinema and experience is we don’t use surround element much. As always thanks for any advice.  

Hi I’m a little bit of a novice when it comes to audio tech.  I have a Sony PS LX310BT bluetooth turntable, an Arc and two One SL’s. What do I need to pair and integrate the turntable with my Sonos system?

Hi I have two use cases:   ** Listening to TV indoors - TV + Beam 2 (working).  I have an  LG Oled TV paired with my BEAM 2 for watching TV and listening to Music (Spotify from TV to beam).      **Listening to Music Multiroom - TV + Beam &  AMP + 2 external speakers (not yet working).I want to listen to music indoors on my TV+Beam (ideally, spotify) while also listening to the same music outside.  I am considering purchasing an AMP and two Sonance speakers to use for the outdoors.Are there any considerations I need to take into account here? How do I set up mirrored music play for outside? I dont want my AMP speakers to be surround sound, but I do want them to be 

I’m hoping to use 4 Sonos ceiling speakers (2 front, 2 rear) with one Sonos amp for tv viewing in a 21’ w x 18’ d room.I know many folks normally don’t recommend only using ceiling speakers for tv viewing because it’s odd to have sound coming from a different direction than to tv, but does trueplay and the virtual center channel in a larger room eliminate that problem?

Did Sonos just increase price across its product line on June 22, 2023 without any notice? I was looking at Play 5s and Outdoor Speakers and while still researching they both went up by $50 each from one day to the next. What’s going on, it’s the same product and no a newer release so why the price increase. 

 Hi, I am having a kitchen refurb done in a couple of months and I'm thinking ahead about a sound system.  Sonos seems like a good solution, but I have no sonos products and could do with some advice please on what to get. The space is fairly large and open plan - see pic.  What I am looking to establish is:-What type of speakers?   Should I consider ceiling speakers? How many? Where would they be positioned? Do I need an amp?Some random info:-Stereo or Surround - I'm not into home cinema and so I reckon a stereo system will do unless surround sound will offer some advantages in filling the space? That said, will it be possible to even create a stereo field in a room of this shape? Perhaps surround is the best option? The system will need to be good enough to support a party so fairly loud! I like house, techno, D&B, bass, chillout, and ambient. Mainly electronic. Maybe ceiling speakers would help, but I thought (maybe incorrectly) that I'd need 6 of these and got very confused wh

Large living room (20X23), 12 foot ceilings.  Seeking whether to split up 2 Sonos 1 across room with Sub Gen 3 in same planeOR2 Sonos 5 across room in stereo mode.For hosting parties, music, and potentially setting up to a mounted TV later.Listen to alternative, higher pitch tunes, along with classic rock.  Will listen and low AND high volumes as well. Thank you!

Hi,today i was trying to play some accuradio’s station but when i select the accuradio service i do not have any station and i have the information “unable to browse music”.the accuradio app works ok on my android phone if i select it.Also with the sonos program on windows it says unable to browse music 

Hi allI am seriously considering buying the Arc, sub gen3 and 2 era3 speakers for a dolby atmos system. The only think keeping me from pushing the buy button is the price. At over £2500 it's not cheap. Has anyone on here bought these to make a atmos system, if so is it worth the outlay. Many thanks

One my friend is travelling from Houston to Pakistan and he is willing to bring Sonos era 300 stands pair, colour white. which i will purchase online and deliver to his address in US, the only problem i will face will be if my order is pushed back. Thinking of replacing my old stereo setup that sits next to my tv. The TV is a Vizio that does not have a soundbar. Don’t really need surround sound because we really don’t watch those type of shows. It would be nice to have a better speaker setup for the tv to help clarify sound (announcers during football for example). I would also like to replace the stereo because I am digitizing my vinyl to load onto iTunes.I have a One SL that I’m using in the kitchen and am setting up our various music services and my own iTunes library. Now, I want to set up the living room.So, would it be better to have a Beam with maybe a sub mini or go with two One SL’s (or Era 100’s, although I don’t need the voice control) and a sub mini. I realize that I give up connecting the tv if I don’t do the soundbar. However, am I giving up the music sound quality if I do go with Beam over two speakers and a sub.Finally, the Five is a wonderful sounding speaker, but I think it is overkill in my 13x19 living room. Is it possible to have in the set up of a given room: a pair of stereo Sonos Five + 1 or 2 Era 100 or Era 300?  Why? To get some sound in part of the room that is far away from the 2 Fives  To get the Sonos Voice Control for the room :-) Thanks, 

When was arc and sub discounted , Bought them from a store 15 days ago at full price.

I understand the first play5 is Sonos S1 compatible only. My question is how do you compare its sound quality (speaker power) to some of the newer speakers.  Is it equal to a Sonos Era 100?  Sonos Move?  Sonos beam Gen 1? I’m assuming it sounds better than the play 1 & play 3 but not as good as the newer Sonos 5.  Curious on what people's thoughts are. Considering getting one or two for my work office space and using it there away from my home.  Thanks!

Hello! I moved into a new house that has passive  speakers already installed: front left/right, back left/right. I’m trying to determine how I could use them with my existing Beam. From my research it seems like my options might beBuy a Sonos Amp for passive speakers and set up passive speakers as surround for Beam (I think only 2 passive speakers can be used because Beam is already a 2.1 device?) Buy a receiver and Sonos Port for passive speakers (I’m not sure if this would allow for surround sound with Beam?) Don’t use passive speakers and just use Beam.Thanks for any advice!

Hello all I moved into a house that has speakers in the ceiling in most of the rooms (about 7 rooms?) - there is a CD player and DAB hooked up but I can’t see an amp. The below is what’s there.If I replaced the CD or DAB with a Sonos Port, would that work?I understand that each room can’t be isolated with one product but I should be able to say set all downstairs speakers to the Port input.Any help appreciated.

HiFor playing music in a large kitchen diner (parties and high-quality listening) I’m considering buying a FIVE to sit on a shelf central on the long wall, then put a ONE SL and a ONE at the extreme sides of the room to create a wider sound field in the room (without the expense of 2x FIVES). (Note: I thought a ONE would be useful as it will have a mic for smart speaker purposes).Question: Can I set the ONE and ONE SL as a stereo pair, and have the FIVE playing in stereo to get this wide sound field?Would this work?
