Have three play one speakers and would like to use Alexa commands to play music on multiple speakers. I have setup a group in Alexa app, but the Sonos one does not recognize the group name??

Just got the Sonos 1 with Alexa, and i have my amazon account linked. My wife also has her own Amazon account, can we link that one too? If so, hiw is that done, and how do you switch between accounts.

I have a Sonos Playbar and subwoofer connected to my Sony tv. I want to get 2 back speakers, either Sonos One Smart speakers with Alexa or Sonos Play:1 without Alexa. I have been told that Alexa will not work with the Playbar. Is this true? I don’t want to spend the extra money if Alexa won’t work, anyway.

Does Sonos One works with Echo buttons?

Hello, I use connect:amp since it has been promoted first days in Czech Republic. I love that product, anyway now I have one idea and I am not able to find solution. I have been using this for playing music on a terrace. But till now it is not possible without my iPhone. Now I have realised that it has to be a possibility to control music by wired or wireless remote. It is enough to have VOLUME +/- and FWD. Any idea / product? I found Caseta by LUTRON https://www.casetawireless.com/ but not sure it could work as I need. Any experiences? many thanks in advance JAZE

I’ve had an Alexa enabled Play One and got a Beam as a birthday present. I want to buy a second Play One to create a surround experience. Do I need to purchase another Alexa enabled Play One ($199) or can i use the non Alexa enabled version ($150) and get the same result?

We are currently using a Connect stereo audio input from a TV to feed audio to our patio speakers. Is there an command for Alexa to play the "Link In" audio?

I can get it to stream via internet services but dont see a way to tell Alexa to play from my music library.

Amazon Music in Canada has to be directed to Sonos through an Alexa device because the music service hasn't yet been added to Sonos. It's been working fine after a problem last week but now Sonos will play one song and stop. If I skip to next it's not a song in the same sequence as the Amazon playlist; it may not even be a song from that playlist but from somewhere in my library. I tried it on my Echo and the playlists play normally and move through the songs sequentially. before I contact support I wondered if anyone else was having this problem?

Alexa cant find the sonos skill in mexico. What can i do?

My Alexa One has been working fine with Alexa for about a year. Suddenly (today) I gave Alexa several commands and each time the wake tone sounded, then the activity light blinked (as usual) and nothing happened. All for commands as varied as Whats the weather, Play Tom Petty, and What's my Flash Update. The One does play music if I find and play it from the Sonos app. And my Echo Dots all perform requested Alexa commands. How do I get her to obey??? 🆒

I have a Sonos Playbar and a Harmony Elite Remote (with Hub). For the first few months, I had them set up normal with the Harmony Hub controlling the Playbar volume (via wifi). It worked okay, but my Harmony Hub frequently disconnects due to its own issues with Mesh Wifi networks. Obviously, if I tried to adjust the volume during a time when the hub is disconnected, it doesn't work or the volume would spike and then I wouldn't be able to turn it down without using the Sonos App. Due to this, I decided to change the Harmony settings and use "Remote Only" to control the Playbar Volume (via IR). After changing to Remote Only and updating the remote, it seemed to work great for a couple hours (without even updating Sonos remote settings in the Sonos app), but then late last night, it stopped working and kept doing the volume spike referenced above (i'd hit volume down and it would get real loud and then could only be fixed by Sonos app). Of course, this did not make my wife happy

I have 2 Sonos One speakers running stereo in one room. All of a sudden they have stopped responding to Alexa commands. The mikes are on and running. I know this because when I say Alexa I get the sound indicating that they are hearing. When I then give a command such as "Play Van Morrison", nothing happens. If I give a command to give the weather, nothing happens. I can control the speakers playback of music from my desktop. I can also get them to play music by giving Alexa commands to Echos and Echo dots in other rooms and asking to play music from the 2 Sonos speakers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as their responsiveness to commands is greatly missed.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I normally use Deezer for my music. When using voice I ask Alexa to play an album or play songs by an artist (ie not a single track) but it only ever plays one track and then stops. If while the first track is playing you say skip to next track... it just says what do you want to play or continues to play the first track. If you let the 1st track finish the 2nd track doesn't start... it's just silence. I have disabled and reenabled the Sonos skill numerous time ... same problem. I have tried Apple music to skip tracks just in case it was a Deezer problem...same problem with Apple. It is immensely frustrating as I have seemed to have purchased a very expensive system that only allows me to change radio station with my voice.(Yes that works). Have submiited numerous diagnostics through Twitter to Sonos but they offer no solution which is disappointing to say the least. Just wondering if anyone had had similar and h

I've just installed Sonos Connect. Added Google Play Music account, Deezer, Last.fm, but Soundcloud and Spotify can't be added: I redirect to webpage where I get notice that I can close page and return to Sonos app, after returning Sonos app show message that I've got an error and service will not be added. Tried from Android, iOS and macOS versions of Sonos app. What's wrong? Please help!

Hi everyone, Amazon just released the new language and also the Echo family on Spain. Alexa is now compatible with Spanish (from Spain), Alexa ahora habla español, when will Sonos update our speakers with the new language?

Using an Echo Dot to control 3 existing Sonos speakers. Have speakers set up as Kitchen / Dining Room and Bedroom Can start and stop music fine 'play blah blah in (or on) Kitchen'. Volume commands, for example 'turn it down in the kitchen' and Alexa responds with 'that command does not work on device kitchen.' I've disabled and re-enabled the Skill to no avail. Am I doing something silly or is it a bug; should I try deleting all the devices and resetting?

I just got a Sonos One, linked my Spotify account on Sonos app, linked the same spotify account on Alexa app and made spotify as default. I can confirm that the spotify account is linked correctly on both Sonos and Alexa. When I say Alexa play music from Spotify, Alexa says to play Spotify first link spotify premium account to the alexa app. Can someone please help

hi guys hope you're all well. My question is easy and straight forward: I'm in Spain and I'd like to know if you've got any clue when we'll finally get the chance to speak with my lovely Cube. I see it there with a lot to say but shut. I'd like to know if there's any way I can make it speak in english at least too.

It's been a few days now since Alexa officially supports Spanish as a language. I live in Spain and I have my setup as if I lived in the UK, but now I am looking forward to migrate everything to the Spanish Alexa site. So far there is no Sonos skill in the Spanish store, so the question is: When is it going to be possible to use Alexa in Spanish (and in Spain) with my Sonos speakers? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I have a house full of gen 1 Sonos speakers. One set is two play 1s with a sub. I'm considering getting two new Play 1s, mostly because of the Alexa and Airplay technology built in. However, I'd like to add one of them to the sub/Play 1 combo, and one paired with another first gen Play 1. In doing so, will the paired speakers still receive Alexa commands and airplay functionality? Or will only the one speaker actually play based on those commands and/or airplay? Thanks!

Does the Sonos One still only support the 'Alexa' wake word, or do we have any new ones?

Apologies if this has been covered already but my Sonos One/Alexa keeps waking up/false triggering while I'm watching TV and it's driving me mad. Whereas others have complained about the mic sensitivity being too low I haven't found this - in fact for me the Sonos One hears me far better better than my Echo and Echo dots ever did and overall I'm loving it. But this issue of Alexa waking up with a loud chirp every few minutes is driving me mad. I've checked the audio files and there's nothing apparent in there that appears to be triggering it - it just seems to be random words with no pattern. My question is are others having the same issue, is there a way to fix it, or do I have a faulty unit?

Is there a way to have Alexa only interrupt the music in the room that she resides? My daughter got a Alexa solo for Christmas and as soon as we hooked it up in her room she began asking it questions nonstop ... ( to be expected) unfortunately every time she asks it a question in her room it interrupts the music throughout the entire house in every zone... this is extremely frustrating when we’re trying to listen to music in the kitchen or out on the porch and the music constantly times out because she is asking Alexa how to spell a word or something in her room. Simple answer to this is to disengage Alexa from the Sonos system altogether however I had already purchased for Sonos ones with Alexa for the other bedrooms in the house... I have not opened the box yet because I do not want this issue to continually happen with my other kids as well... Unfortunately if this issue cannot be resolved I’m going to have to return all four of these Sonos ones and get the Sonos without Alex

Hi Sonos Community - I recently purchased two Sonos Beams and am liking them a lot, but my house is becoming overwhelmed with Alexa devices. I had opted to turn the Alexa integration off on these two beams through the room settings, but now the ability to add it back is completely gone. I'm thinking of just changing the wake word on my other devices, so I'd like to add Alexa back on both of my Beams if it's possible - but I don't know how! Any recommendations?
