Question

Samsung Anynet+ But no ARC with Sonos Beam

Hi,

I have an older Samsung TV which has Anynet+ and CEC but doesn't have a HDMI ARC port. I can see that there are some HDMI -> HDMI ARC converters, has anyone tried this?

Ideally I want to be able to use the voice control features of the beam, any thoughts would be appreciated?

Thank you!!!

Do you have a link to one of those converters?

I've only seen ARC converters that take an HDMI ARC signal and convert/split to HDMI video and Toslink optical audio. Makes sense it could be possible in reverse with HDMI-CEC plus Toslink being converted into HDMI-ARC.
Hi

I am not really sure, I thought this was a converter but I’m not entirely sure which way it is going
