I am getting errors every time I use the new app to search for anything and nothing opens. My music provider is Napster Rhapsody who Sonos originally promoted when I first got the system the new app is virtually unusable now - help!
Since the last app update I can’t start a LiveOne radio from an android controller, I just receive the message ‘Something went wrong’However, I can:play an album from LiveOne from the Android controller start a LiveOne radio from the Windows and IOS controllerI tried to reboot everything, remove the service from the account, remove the app from the device, reboot the device … no success. Also, it looks like the ‘SLEEP TIMER’ was removed in the latest version - or let’s say that I can’t find it anymore.Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated :)
So the new app sucks in many ways. Here's one. Now that the Alarms function has returned to the app, I find that the time picker to set the alarm time is horrible to work with. Tiny font, hair trigger scroll wheels. Olympic eye-hand coordination needed. Is it just me?
Hi,I have no power with Gen 2 sub. It isn’t the power point or lead issue. (I am an electrician). I have a 1st gen sub that is going strong so I think gen 2 sub’s have a power issue. Paying over $1000 for a sub that doesn’t last 5yr is pretty average.I had a move that the battery stop charging alsoI love Sonos. I have use there products for around 10yrs. I have play 1 x 2, play 3 x 2, play 5, playbar, beam, sub x 2, move and amp Over the last couple years I have experienced the most problems with the app (bugs/delays/app closing). Maybe Sonos needs to go back to there original scope of make a couple of amazing products instead of lots or average ones that can’t outlast their originals Cheers
I've been using Ace for a few hours now. First impression:Setup was easy Sound excellent, including the bass Wearing comfort great Quality good, but not perfect (one ear cup not cleanly finished, volume control sometimes jams slightly) Battery life - as far as I can tell after a few hours - is good. Switching to the soundbar works easily Noise canceling mode great. Aware mode not, I hear rustling background noise (white noise). Signals when switching noise canceling mode do not sound differently enough, so you don't know which mode you are in when switching Quieter/louder/pause is needed more often than switching the noise canceling mode, so the reverse order of the two right buttons would have been better. Headtracking mode is great. But can be annoying when walking around, so a button to switch it on/off would be helpful. Perhaps an update could make this possible via the noise canceling button? Price is also ok if you take advantage of the 15% upgrade bonus for existing customers Th
I recently updated the app on iPhone for Sonos and I’m sorry to say it’s an utter car crash. The original app was excellent worked perfectly so I could link to my NAS and play music, use streaming. It was great. This new one is terrible. My NAS is inaccessible streaming start and stop is slow and uncontrollable. Could you please give us the option to role back to the original app, recall the frankly embarrassing app you have recently released, or release an update that fixes these problems. Looking at your forums, I’m not the only one who is less than impressed. Looking forward to your rectification. Kind regards Dom
Wie kann ich Songs aus der Sonos Favoriten Liste zur vorhandenen Playlist hinzufügen? Moderator Edit: Google Translate- How can I add songs from the Sonos favorites list to the existing playlist?
Why would I want to buy any Sonos products, if the app doesn’t work for your products? Or is that you don’t care?
Does anyone know how long the connect amp two will be supported. Was thinking about purchasing one secondhand.
Plenty of bad comments concerning the New S2 App out there. In order to provide a balanced opinion. Are there any users that? :-Have it working in all respects. Prefer the new to the previous S2 Version. Do not regret upgrading to the current version.
The new App is giving me nightmares. The app doesn’t keep up with tracks being played and is sooo slow sometimes I can’t pause or skip then it will catch up and suddenly react. Oddly when I bypass the app and use Spotify and connect to my speakers in this app they react well so I’m guessing it’s the Sonos app and not my WiFi. I have a boost hard wired to router which no longer shows up in my system. Also have they removed cross fade or is this just on my system this is no longer available????Thoughts please???
Any tricks for iPhone users with home theaters (player (gen2), 5 player (gen 2) and Sub (3 gen)) to stabilize this train wreck of an “upgraded” app?
Ok everyone who’s going first?🤣 Let us know how if it’s safe to update. ETA I updated. This is more of an FYI because I see many asking if they can go back to 16.1 on iOS. Apparently you can, but YMMV.From RedditYou may need a PC/Laptop Install AltStore on PC (follow their instruction) Download the previous .ipa file (Google it) Install it See this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/1cpd8eu/how_to_install_the_previous_app_on_ios/Install Alt Store on Windows: https://faq.altstore.io/getting-started/how-to-install-altstore-windowsIf you can’t find the 16.1 IPA you can follow these instructions to get it. Keep a copy of it and you will always be able to go back to it.https://github.com/qnblackcat/How-to-Downgrade-apps-on-AppStore-with-iTunes-and-Charles-Proxy

In iOS v80.01.30, I appear unable to play TuneIn radio on just one of three zones. App defaults to one room (consisting of a single Play 1), and while I can add another room (either room with another Play 1 or my surround setup), I cannot deselect the original “default” room without disabling sound elsewhere.
Hey guys, I am looking to do the following set up:Sonos Amp 2 Klipsch aw6501 awr650sm Will I run into any issues?
What the heck happened? Who authorized this for release. It is the absolute worst app I’ve ever used. It has rendered my turntable and 4 speakers completely useless. Please roll it back (though the old one wasn’t so great either). You can do better. This is a joke.
I’m about to buy a Sonos system purely for music. I was thinking about a pair of Era 100’s and a Sub mini. But after more research I’m now considering the Five. But do I need 2 of them for stereo sound? It would make the set-up a lot more expensive. My only consideration is sound quality, (and the price of course!) so am I going to better my first option of using a sub & 2 Era 100’s, with a system without a sub?I would appreciate some experienced input with this. ‘
Hello. I'm wondering if Sonos is the right solution for what I'm looking for and, if so, which products. This question is actually on behalf of my parents. They are wedded to a large CD collection and have no interest in streaming, at least for now. They'd like a setup for their television (soundbar and possibly also a sub) that ALSO has an audio input to which they can attach their CD player. I think they plan a single room setup for now, but would like the option to add speakers down the road that will allow for music from the CD player to play in multiple rooms. One other relevant piece of information: they live in a community that has a common wifi network for residents. I'm not sure whether they have their own wifi network in their unit (although they may - I will check). Does that mean Sonos can't be used for the purposes above? Thanks, appreciate everyone’s help.
Since Sonos has just launch the new Sonos Ace. My thought is what if Sonos use this as a new microphone to tune the Sonos home theatre like Sonos arc which achieve another alternative of true play on top of current iPhone true play feature.
I have a 2020 LG CX TV with an Arc, 2 Ones and a sub that has been working fine for a year. Earlier today, the sound stopped coming through the Sonos speakers. I was able to get the sound to work through the speakers but the LG remote no longer controls the volume. I have tried the manual setup controls from other threads but it doesn’t work. Also, if I try to set up the TV in the Sonos app, I get an error that the Arc Mode is not connected but it is.
Now that I have my new Frontier Fiber with Eero Pro 6 mesh connected and all my Sonos are up and running do I need Boost anymore?
Merci Moderator Note - Translation by Google:Hello everyone,No longer possible to have access to RadioNova or FIP radio(s), Impossible to find them in sonos radio or on Tune In..!!!Is this due to the update? Will they be available again? Thanks
I have a few sonos products, mainly soundbars and sub for home theater. I would love to expand to more speakers but I want the ability to cast from youtube music and plexamp, my main methods of listening to music. I do not like the sonos app for finding and playing my music, making playlists, etc… I know this has been brought up before, but it seems like a missed opportunity. There are only more sales to be had from supporting more protocols and ways to play your music. I don’t know if there is an official feature request or similar community functionality so thought I would make this post.
