So, out of the blue, the Artist listing on my android device is now not in alphabetical order, it is extremely annoying and if anyone has any idea how to fix this i would be very appreciative.

Hello everyone, I am having an issue that I believe is related to an iphone. My wife's iphone 8 was working fine with our Sonos network until it decided to not work. The app and said there were no Sonos items on the network. At that point I uninstalled the app, restarted the phone, restarted the router, power cycled speakers, etc.So now we cant even login in the app on one of our devices because it cant see any Sonos devices on the network.My iphone 8 plus is still able to connect, and my daughters iphone 7 both connect fine, we can see all the speaks, connect and link them together in a group.All iphones are running ios 14.3, and the Sonos apps have all been updated to current. The ios sonos app we are using is Sonos 12.2.2the router is a Google Nest mesh network. The Google Home app is version 2.32.11 no idea about hardware version or whatnot. Anyone have a problem aimilar to this?    

Hi, i have a “problem” with my setup, that i can read many people have.   My setup is: TV: Samsung UE49KS7005 Nvidia Shield 16gb 2017 version Sonos Beam+2play:1 rear speaker. Cable: HDMI ARC between TV and beam Shield connected to HDMI port on samsung tv HDMI input. When ever i play Netflix, plex movies on the build in app on my TV, the sound is decoded fine to Dolby digital 5.1.   but everything on my shield i play is mainly “Stereo 2.0” when i look in my sonos.   i know it has something to do with the sonos beam dont support DTS and whatever more.   first i thought i would look for a new soundbar setup, that could handle almost all codec from the shield, but before i do that.   Could this be solved by buying a media player, maybe apple tv or whatever, that can “decode” or transfer the signals to Dolby digital plus?   i just want a se

I’m trying to setup an alarm with a Sonos Radio station, but thats next to impossible. There is no search for radio stations in the alarm setup, nor is the Sonos favorites list available. How the heck do I find my station among the thousands of stations? Give it a try: try set up an alarm with egoFM. egoFM is available at Sonos Radio, but I couldn’t manage!

Hi All, I finally got my Sonos home theater (Arc, Sub and One SL) after waiting for 3 months. I unboxed it today and after trying for good 8 hours still can’t connect it with my LG TV. Message on Sonos APP : HDMI ARC not detected. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the ARC port and your TV is on.Following are the steps which I already performed after reading many forums.Reset factory settings of TV  Reboot and unplug source  Tried different HDMI Cables CEC/Simplink on LG is on. I was looking to replace the PolkAudio sound bar in my home theater setup and the Sonos ARC came highly recommended. The problem is I can’t figure out a way to connect my Pioneer receiver to properly work with my system. Currently I have:Sonos ARCLG OLED65CXPUA TVPioneer Elite VSX-84TXSi Receiver with the following plugged in:Apple TV Xbox Series X Onkyo Laserdisc Player Panasonic Blu-Ray Verizon Fios TunerI want to use the Pioneer to keep managing my HDMI connections, but have the sound play properly through my Sonos ARC. My receiver does have a TOSLINK optical Audio out, and my TV is e-arc compatible, but I am not sure what would be the best way to get optimal sound from my Sonos.I know my setup is unique, but I am hoping that others have gone the route of going from a “dumb” soundbar to a more modern one using their older receiver.I am not looking to buy more components at

From Amp / Port to Arc: Can the Arc play music from analog devices connected to Sonos Amp or Sonos Port? I have a CD player and a turntable which I would like to listen to using the Arc. Is it possible to connect them to Port or Amp and stream the music to the Arc speakers or do I need to get an additional speakers? From Arc to Amp / Port: Can input from the TV going to Arc be streamed to Amp or Port and played over the wired speaker connected to them?Thanks! 

I upgraded my Sonos system to S2 a few weeks ago.  I have one Sonos Beam and two Sonos Play:1 speakers.  A complicating factor is that I also switched to a new router a couple of weeks prior to the update, but the system seemed to be working well prior to the software upgrade to S2.   Since the upgrade to S2, the connectivity to my speakers over the Sonos Mac OS X app has been very shoddy.  On many occcasions, one or more speakers will not appear on the menu.  Sometimes I will see the speaker on the menu, but when I attempt to play music I have difficulty getting a song to start.  There are some occasions when the system seems to work, but it seems sporadic. Additionally, my ability to use my Sonos speakers directly from the Spotify application has essentially ceased.   Please help!

I have an almost one your old Sonos Beam. Until today, the white status LED was on whenever the Beam was playing, and after a while idle the LED turned off automatically.Since today, the white led stays on all the time, also after hours ofo being idle. I know I can turn off the LED permanently in the app, but I don't want to do that. I like the led being one when the device is in use, and disappear when it's not.I already factory resetted the Beam as well as reinstalled the app, but this didn't help.Funny enough I read everywhere on the internet that the white led never turns off itself. But I am 100% sure mine did. It's frustrating me.Does anyone hava a solution? Is the white status light on your Beam turning off after being idle for a while?

Hello,I have a Sonos Arc + Sub connected to a Samsung TV/Apple TV setup. Whenever a show or movie is paused for several minutes, it seems that the Apple TV either unsyncs the Arc or tells it to go to sleep/mute. The Arc remains muted until I hit play, at which point the green light comes on indicating that it is unmuting. Most frustrating is that it takes a few seconds to fully unmute, so if I resume a show, the video will start but audio won’t kick in for those few seconds.  I don’t think this is an Apple TV issue, since I did not have trouble with the previous speakers - albeit those were just a 2.1 wired Logitech speaker setup. And no, my Samsung does not have an eARC port. Perhaps it has something to do with the pairing of remote controls? I could not find my answer anywhere, so any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

Maybe this is addressed somewhere else, but I would love the ability to change the bit rate of the stream in Sonos.For example when I stream Tidal through Sonos it is FLAC ~1000kbs. This is great when I want to listen to the music in my living room on a high-quality stereo set up. But when I’m just chilling around the house or cooking dinner, I don’t need this high bit rate stream, I would much rather use some thing at 256 or 320 KBPS. I know I can do this using airplay, but I prefer to use Spotify, or Tidal connect.  As it stands now, Sonos always takes the maximum quality stream.I have multiple teens streaming music in my house all the time, and we have a data cap with our Internet service provider. Would love the option of being able to use a lower bandwith stream for less critical listening and a higher quality stream when listening on hifi equipment. This will also be an issue when Spotify rolls out it’s high definition music option later this year.  

Hello!I just purchased a sonos arc and a sub and want to connect that to a benq Ht3550 projector. Was hoping to use the eARC from the projector to the sonos arc but the benq does not have eARC. My question is, can i use a AVR and then connect my device (Amazon Fire Cube) to the AVR and have the video go to my projector and audio through eARC and then be connected to the Sonos? This sounds simple but i have also heard people talk about the HDFury. My question is what is it that the HDFury can do which an AVR wont do? So confused!! 

I have a Sonos Amp powering two Sonance in-ceiling speakers, which were installed last December and have worked flawlessly for about 11 months. Absolutely zero issues since day one, and I’ve been completely satisfied and impressed.  But just recently, the system will play fine for around 30 - 60 minutes before a LOUD static/pop/crackling sound will occur for a split-second and then the music or TV audio immediately stops and the Amp goes into fault mode (alternating orange/white LED).  I have pulled both Sonance speakers from the ceiling to check the wires are still properly connected, as well as checking all connections at the Amp itself.  This issue occurs both while playing music through the Sonos app and while playing TV audio via HDMI ARC connection.  Since the issue occurs when playing through both wireless and HDMI input sources, I don’t believe it’s audio-input issue.  Could this be an overheating issue, and if so, why would this just now begin to occur after 11 months?  I h

I have had my system for about 2 months now.  As of this morning when I turned my tv on my rear speakers are only playing the background music and I am unable to hear the voices from the people talking anymore.  I have the rears set to FULL.  What could be causing the sudden change?

Hi,     Looking for some advice on a remodel.  We have an open family/kitchen/dining section that are re-doing and I want to install ceiling speakers.  For the Family room area, I already have an Arc soundbar.  I was planning to buy 1 amp and 3 in-ceiling speaker sets.  I would position 2 sets in the kitchen and dining section to ideally pair together, with one last set of speakers positioned above the couch to pair with the Arc.    My question is should this work? Do the ceiling speakers pair separately as a set or even individually? Or is it by the amp (so all 3 sets/6 speakers are one control/set of music)? I’ve read some other posts and it didn’t seem clear to me at least.       Any help or thoughts would be appreciated!

I am new to the Sonos experience and am in the process of setting up stereo paired Sonos One speakers.  My intended purpose is the use the speakers for listening to music.  I am thinking about maybe adding a Sonos sub.  Would a sub be worth adding to this set up is it more suited to Sonos Fives or TV surround sound systems?

Hello Everyone,Once again I think my Sonos expectations were incorrect and I did not do the research. I got a Sonos Sub (gen 3) today and realized that it will probably not pair up with my Sonos Connect.In my Livingroom I have the Connect patched into an Onkyo Receiver/Amp with a set of Wharfedale Diamond (WD) speakers.I wanted the Sub to mirror what was being streamed in or out of the Connect so that the sub would back up those WDs that are in the living room (TV/Music etc.).I have a Play 5 in one bedroom, a Five in another bedroom, a Move (useless here) in another room and a Boost (also useless here that I bought years ago).I grabbed the 5s and brought them into the living room to hear this Sub, but that is not the ideal setup. Linking the Sub to the 5s (that are in other rooms) is also not the ideal setup (Playing three dimensional volume/level adjustments etc.).To be honest I am not sure that the 5s need the Sub unless you get to very-ve

Looking back in the support threads, it looks like its been about 7 years since people first asked for TuneIn to be enabled with login support like all the other services so we can enable playlists and Premium service.  Sonos clearly already has a partnership with TuneIn.  I’m curious about the level of effort to get this implemented.  

I’m looking to get a speaker for my studio and am not sure on the setup, room is quite small (100 sq. feet). I’m between the One, the Five or potentially a One pair. Any recommendations?

Hi Sonos Community!I have a bar with two tv’s and one Sonos amp connected to in-ceiling speakers. I would like the ability to choose either tv for audio playback via ARC to the Sonos amp. Is there an HDMI switch available that I can use to achieve this function? Right now I have one tv connected straight to the Sonos amp and the other tv uses it’s built in speakers.

can the amp drive 2 6.8 ohm speakers?jpc
