How to pair Sonos One with a laptop

Hi all.  I have a Sonos One and I assumed I could pair it with my Win10 laptop but I can’t see anything in the app to help me pair it.  My laptop can see it in Bluetooth but I can’t connect.  Any advice?

The Sonos One isn’t a Bluetooth speaker. If you had a Mac, you could play audio to the speaker through AirPlay.

The only Sonos speakers that support Bluetooth are the Move and the Roam.

Thank you for that, I had just assumed I could do more with it!  I’ve bought a Samsung TV and had hoped to connect it to that when it arrives for great sound.  Am I right to think that won’t work either?

Thanks so much for your help.

Unfortunately that won’t work either. Your best option to play TV audio through Sonos speakers is getting a Sonos soundbar like a Beam or Arc.
