Hello.  We are buying a new house that has 3 sets of speakers each connected to Sonos amps.  Each set of speakers is in a different area of the house.  We would like to buy a Sonos arc and connect it to the TV in the living room.  Is it possible to wirelessly connect the sound coming from the TV into the Sonos arc to the amps so the TV sound is broadcast to the speakers in the other rooms of the house.  I think the answer is yes, but wanted to make sure before we make the decision to order the Arc.   Thank you!

I have Sonos in several rooms but have only used it to watch TV or listen to Apple Music. I recently added two Moves for my backyard and love them. I now want to add a projector and 120” screen and would really like to play the audio through the Move speakers. Is there a way to get audio from the projector to the Moves, either through the app or Bluetooth? The source for the projector will likely be a Tivo Mini, Xbox, or Roku connected by HDMI. The only thing I could come up with was to connect my Arc in the family room to the projector to get audio on Sonos and then group the Moves with the Arc. I could then turn the volume all the way down on Arc and up on the Moves. That feels way too convoluted and I’m hoping someone here can steer me to something simpler.

The Sonos S2 app loses access to my wireless speakers. Rebooting the router works, however, using the app the next day all access to the speakers is lost and I have to reboot the router again. The only things that have changed recently is that I have moved to Sonos S2 app and have upgraded to iOS14.4 (and yesterday to iOS14.5). The version of the S2 app is 13.0.5, build 62.1.88070. The problem only started happeningwithin the last week, which is when 13.0.5 was installed.

Is anyone else getting the error message when trying to set up their Sonos One?“Something came up. The application has cancelled the request to choose a device.”I recently moved house and tried to connect my Sonos and this keeps popping up.Old house had no problems and i’ve never seen this message before.I am on a new Wifi system.What i’ve done so far:Factory reset the Sonos. The app recognises the Sonos One Begins to try and find Wifi and shows a Wifi i’ve never seen before (See image below)and if I click it, the error message pops up.I have tried on both the Sonos S1 app and the Sonos S2 app.I think it may be an issue with my phone? As I have a OnePlus. Typing the error message into Google comes up with a few OnePlus issues.Any idea on how to fix this? 

Please, please SONOS let us be able to save a couple of sound profiles in the APP!I switch between Music, TV and Movies with my Beam and x2 Ones, and one EQ/SOund setting for all doesn’t work.Movies over Netflix are extremely Bass heavy and surrounds overpower the BEAM.Music is perfect& TV needs more Treble.  Please allow me to save my desired Sound settings under 1 button in the APP, so I don’t have to faff about depending on what I am listening too. Thank You.P.S Can you release this update asap :-) 

Hi all. Current set up = Beam,Sub and pair 1’s in living room.   I'm getting a Connect amp with a pair of passive outdoor speakers for alfresco area. Can I group the alfresco speakers to the living room, so I can listen to football when out there. I’m hoping I don’t have run cables from the amp to the tv.  Cheers

Hi all,I have a Sonos ARC, Sub(GEN 3), and One SLs setup for my living. When I added my One SLs as surrounds this week, I noticed that the two upfiring drivers from the ARC were moved to the One SLs when testing with Dolby Atmos 5.1.2. file (so no sounds from upfiring speakers). Besides, I had also tested with some Atmos movies from Netflix and Disney+ and confirmed the same. Moreover, I can't hear any difference by adjusting the height level while playing the Dolby Atmos test file.  If you have a similar setup as mine, do you experience the same or it is just me? P.S. My Samsung TV has no Dolby Atmos support (ARC HDMI port only) but I am able to stream Dolby Atmos from Shield TV cuz SONOS apps shows (DD+) Dolby Atmos on About My System.

I am trying to use my sonos one and my sonos move with lg cinebeam projector..the sonos move works great but i cant get thesonos one to join.  Is there a way to make this work

I am planning to connect 3 pairs of speakers to a single Sonos Amp (2 pairs of in-ceiling speakers and 1 pair of outdoor speakers).  Is it possible to listen to music on a single pair of speakers without having the other two pairs playing music?  Thanks in advance.

I have linked my Amazon Prime Account to Sonos successfully.  Yet anytime I go to try and play anything from Amazon Music, I just get a message telling me to subscribe to Unlimited.  It directs me to amazon.com/music_on_sonos where I am being asked to subscribe.  Am I missing something if all I want is to access the free music I can get through my Prime subscription?

Hi thereI am new to this forum and have a question regarding the Sonos Port and set up.  My set up idea is this…..  To connect a turntable in to the Sonos Port, I understand I would use the ‘Analog Audio In’ RCA jacks. Then is it possible to stream the audio from the turntable to my Sonos Beam via wifi? If i can stream the audio to my Sonos Beam would my turntable need to have a preamp as well? Or would I not require a preamp in this situation? Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. The Sonos Port isn’t cheap and I don’t want to spend that kind of money on something that wont work in the way im hoping   

What apps can I use that will play a full album/CD from one artist? I do have my Apple library but not sure if there is an app for me to access that content.

I’m a PC user. I have an audio book on several CDs.Using iTunes, I’d like to rip all the CDs so I can do the following: Play the digital files ripped from CD stored on my PC using my Play5s, and PlayOnes Play the files on my iphone or ipod.Does the Sonos system require the files to be in a specific format? I don’t want to rip them, only to realize they should have been ripped to a different format. Thanks!

so im connected the arc to the only Arc HDMI on Samsung  Q80r, its not 2.1..Series X will give error when putting sound to bitstream and selecting Atmos or dTS-X, says not supported.. end of story.. I can however get Atmos direct from built in apps . Netflix using DD+...do I have a chance or do I need new 2.1 TV? So I can't even use the Xbox same way- have it output Atmos via DD+ lossy? should I go Samsung q950a, I had the. q90r Soundbar and stability and problem wise it was horrible , at least the Sonos works when tv is on...Thank you

I have a semi permanent projector installation with Apple TV as my only source of video. I have an existing Sonos move for the garden that I move into place near the projector screen when needed and connect through airplay which is ok.  im now in a position where I want to either add another sonos move for a stereo pair or I install a sonos arc (have power above the projector screen but will also be connected through airplay). I’m aware either isn’t going to give me the best “cinema experience” but at best it’s for sports events, the occasional event or my daughter having a film night with friends.  im not sure which one to go for. The arc could be used on another tv if the projector is made redundant, where the additional move can be taken in the garden as a stereo pair.what is everyone’s thoughts?  

I’ve been using Sonos and controlling it from my phone for over 1 year.  last week I receive a “netwrok problem detected” error when “I sign in to use new features” on the bar at the top of the app or when I check for updates in system updates.  I run an iPhone XR with iOS 13.2.  The Sonos is up to date.  The Sonos app runs correctly from other iPhones in my house.

I have the Beam working via HDMI on my TV and when I switch in my headphones to connect to the TV via Bluetooth, it works initially and TV says disconnecting Anynet+ device (the Beam) but then it seems to immediately reconnect the Beam and so not allowing me to switch to the Bluetooth headphones. Any ideas on how to get this working without having to switch Anynet off and on in the menu all the time? My Samsung is a 2015 UHD model.

When I open the app and start up music from my Itunes library, only a couple of my speakers kick in.  It takes a minute or two for all of them to kick in.  Is this a normal lag or can it be fixed?  Thanks 

This has only just started in the last month or so, you add a track to ‘play next’ to the queue which it puts into the queue but just continues past it? Any ideas? thanks 

Hi. I’m new to Sonos. I was looking forward to playing Bbc iPlayer UHD content with Dolby atmos. However it seems that iPlayer only sends out pcm stereo stream?

Hello all,I have a Sound Blaster Z se that has an optical out that is connected to a Z90. Although I can get music from Pandora, no option for a line in signal is available within the sonos software. No PC sounds can be head .Is there something that needs to be changed for the line in to use an optical signal?

I want to add Shared Music Folder for music that is on my Synology NAS (DS720+). When I try to add the NAS shared folder (Shared Folder via File Station) I get either error 900 or 1001.  Note: I do not use the cloud capabilities of the NAS. The NAS is only accessible on the local network.
