First, I am an adept of sonos products.Now. For the roam, sorry..Change all the time from bluetooth to wifiWithout charge, just wait for 20 minutes before she accept to answer to you, when she accepts to charge with her sonos base (not all the time).Lost from group permanent. To be reinitialized all the time.Connexion in bluetooth ? Call Einstein!!!Don't buy!! Go for the rest of the products.
Remote volume disabled by TV.New TV. Old Playbase.New Panasonic TV. Setup new panasonic remote with Playbase. All ok including old panasonic remotes.Except... playbase sound controls become inoperative on new panasonic remote when TV turned back on.Reregistered new remote many times which only registers when TV off !!When TV turned on then the new remote no longer controls sound on playbase. Old remotes still control playbase and tv no problem. All other functions on all remotes work fine.Is this an optical handshake or bluetooth clash? All kit firmware fully updated.Seems to be new remote with playbase issue.
I want to play sound from multiple sources on my Sonos speakers using the Sonos Port. I have a JVC RX-702B receiver (link to manual: http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/90/LVT1437-007A.pdf). Would it work to connect the Port's line-in to the receiver's DVR out/record? Will the digital connection from the Port to the receiver's digital in 1 (DVR/DVD) still work to stream from the Port to my non-Sonos speakers? It's there a better way?
Having to submit this question is a matter of frustration and embarrassing at the same time. Frustrating because I haven’t been able to figure out a fix on my own and because supposed solutions vary depending on whether the Sonos device is a Beam, Playbar or Arc. Embarrassing because I haven’t been able to determine whether the problem I’m actually trouble-shooting is the same as the multitudinous solutions I’ve seen.Specifically, I’ve connected my LG CX77 to my Beam (Gen 1) and surrounds (Play 1s) via HDMI using eARC. The LG Magic Remote properly controls audio sent over HDMI to the Beam. But, the LG Remote will not control the volume of my Sonos system for any audio source other than the TV, i.e., Tidal, Spotify, Tunein, etc. Is there an actual fix, or am I condemned to using at least two remotes? It is not an adequate solution to try and fool the remote to send IR to the Sonos. The sound quality transmitted via HDMI in a surround configuration is far superior to that available
Hi, question already seen on this community, is there news about Apple music lossless on Sonos S2 native app. After Qobuz and Amazon, Apple Music should be the next new entry.
Sonos has a new feature product roadmap for the S2 App. It’s about resource allocation (soft/hardware engineers) budgets and, prioritization. Understand the game; don’t focus on the players…Complaining just generates endless, obligatory and vapid Corporate speak responses.Unless there are hundreds, thousands of voices voting on this poll, or through comments or “+1”’s, line item by line item in this thread, Sonos has no impetus to......allocate dev resources to a NEW priority (TruePlay for 2020/2021 Apple devices)I have an brand new Arc, Sub 3, and One SL ,pair ($2,053.00); iPad Air 4 (2021).I vote ‘YES”!
Hi, I really need help because the SONOS experience is below zero and I am about to do things to it which I will regret. I have been a SONOS user for a long time and always have been happy with them. Lately I have a serious issue that bothers me so much. I have purchased a new TV Samsung Q60Aa 55. Since I have connected the Beam it randomly fails to detect it is installed using the TV speaker instead of the Beam. I try the settings, plug it out, disconnect the cable from the eArc connector, reinstall…. And after a while it seems to detect it until I turn off the TV and can start all over this very annoying time consuming issue. Help please. I have always enjoyed my Beam, which still works fine connecting to Spotify. But am unable to use it as a sound bar for the TV. Help.. BTW. It always has worked well with my previous TV LG branded.
My three Pico audio remotes for Sonos just started behaving weird. The Pico OFF button does not turn off Sonos. The other buttons on the Pico audio remote work fine. Any thoughts????
How long does the returns process typically take? My return got collected by UPS last Wednesday but I’ve not heard anything back about it being received at Sonos yet. I haven’t returned via courier before so not sure on the timeframes.
Hello all after hours of research and phone calls I’m still a bit lost so lets see if this helps clear up my questions. When i built my house i had gotten 3 zones pre wired for in wall/ceiling speakers zone 1: living room 5.1 surround sound pre wired (all speakers in wall)zone 2: Kitchen 2 speakers (in ceiling) zone 3: Back patio (2 on wall, 2 in ceiling) ZONE 1in order to create a true surround sound experience and keep everything simple and clean i want to go with everything from Sonos. For the 5.1 surround sound what I’m confused on is it possible to run 4 in wall speakers, 1 arc (in place of a center channel) and 2 subs off of just 1 Sonos amp and it all actually work correctly to create a surround sound experience?i did find this video ( https://youtu.be/cUUyOMRvsiI ) similar set up to what I’m going for only difference is i would use in wall instead of in ceiling, and i want to run 2 Sonos subs. What I’m confused on is why he needed to use 2 Sonos amps when each amp can sup
Can I use the Amazon music app on the Sonos beam without using Alexa? I know you can use the Sonos app but I prefer the Amazon app. I just want to cast to it like I can with the Spodify or Pandora app. Thanks
Hi all , hope you're all well ! The S2 app notification disappears occasionally from my phone , it can be there for an hour then it goes off and I have to go back on the app and it appears again , also in the app it said something like " can't connect let's fix this " speakers and beam were all ok I just forced stopped the app and all was good , just seems a bit buggy ?
Hello. I upgraded to the s2 app and lost the ability to use my connect. In the past I had 30% off for upgrade on the connect as I want to upgrade to Arc. After moving to the s2 app I can’t find the connect in the apps anymore so I can’t see the upgrade offer. Is there a way to put in serial number and check the upgrade offer another way? Matt
Hi, I connected my beam to my Samsung TV (hdmi arc). My Apple TV is connected to my TV. However I can now change the volume, I would like to see the volume animation bar on the Apple TV when I adjust the volume. Is this possible?

After having installed the 13.4.1 update this problem occurs: a daily update of my music library at 11.50am removes the active queue in one of my rooms. Radio play in other rooms is not affected. The problem occurs repeatedly and can be reproduced. Diagnostic: 78616423. Please advice what to do. TIA.
Yeah I know.Looking at upgrading a chunk of hardware. My understanding of S2 (as opposed to S1) is the main benefits I would get are:SMBv3 support Hi-Res/HD (which I’m not likely to use) A platform that is mostly the same as S1 but works A chunk of new hardware replacing 16-year old hardware, including warranty Potential of S2 platform development over standing stillAs I would be upgrading from v8.4 I would lose 3 CR100s but regain Spotify streaming. Mandatory UpgradesI have 4 ZP100s, A ZP80 & a Play 5 that would need upgrading to support S2, all of which are eligible for 30% discount. And cost me £2,585. Optional UpgradesI also have 5 Play1s, a Playbar and a Sub that are all Gen1 but are S2 compatible to my knowledge. To upgrade these to the latest they are eligible for a 15% discount. This would cost me a further £2,246. (There aren’t any multi-Amp packages so I can’t double down on the 30% discount but it would make more sense to order arc/sub/one with 30% off and pay list on an
Hello! It seems once you connect a Sonos Five to a home theater setup you are no longer able to initiate auto play through line in. This seems like a weird software issue that could be fixed pretty easily. I understand most people hooking up their home theater probably have another place they setup to listen to records but I would love to be able to use my turntable when I’m not watching TV without having to unpair my fives from the home theater group. Any suggestions (beyond buying a port because I know that’s the easiest solution)?
Hi allA relative has asked me to look into getting wireless speakers for her house. She listens to classical and pop/rock so will likely be set up by me to use Spotify. She has 2 small rooms - one living room, and one dining room, which aren’t separated by a door, rather a walk through arch.I was thinking of getting:LIVING ROOM - 3 Sonos One’s - 2 in a stereo pair behind the sofa, and one facing you when sitting down. Would that be better than just the stereo pair. (Presume 2 stereo pairs would be overkill) DINING ROOM (not used regularly) - 2 Sonos One’s in a stereo pair. (Dining table in middle of room). Does that make sense? Total newbie here!
I’m traveling with a Sonos Roam and would like to have it available in S2 app connected to WiFi network instead of on Bluetooth via AirPlay. Is it possible to connect the Roam to S2 app … even if I need to create a new account and setup? Or is there another way to stream Spotify or Apple Music directly to the speaker instead of via Bluetooth / AirPlay from my phone?
I have my Sonos Beam connected to my Dish Hopper and TV via HDMI.Suddenly yesterday, after I played some music on the Sonos system via Airplay from my Mac (iTunes), my Dish remote stopped controlling the volume on the Dish_TV-Sonos setup. The other controls on the Dish remote, but the volume and mute controls do nothingHow can I restore control of volume to my Dish Hopper remote? TIA Caroline
I can’t find all Finnish radio stations in Sonos. For example the traditional Jouluradio is missing. What is the reason?
The tv does not all Fixed Audio Out does anyone know how to configure this tv to provide level volume output across all sources through Beam without turning tv volume levels very high ?
Hi - any chance I can set-up the Arc with 2x Sonos Move? Any tips / tricks / updates would be massively appreciated.
I have purchased a 4K laser projector (Optoma UHZ65LV) and also an Apple TV 4K. In common with other people on these forums I want to create a Dolby Atmos surround sound set up using Sonos kit. I currently have purchased the SUB and two One SLs….. so I will need to fill this in with an Arc and another two One SLs I assume. On to the questionNow from reading the forums I understand that when using Apple Airplay 2 to connect to Sonos you lose all the Dolby Atmos information. You just get stereo. So can someone explain - given that constraint - how do I achieve my desired setup ? Bearing in mind that in a large room you have the projector at one end. Connected to the Apple TV via HDMI. And then at the other end of the room you have the screen and this is (obviously) where the Arc will be installed. So a wired solution would be quite a stretch …I am technically competent, but I am a complete newbie to cinema / surround sound / etc. So go easy on me :-). Appreciate any help
