I connected my beam to my Samsung TV (hdmi arc). My Apple TV is connected to my TV. However I can now change the volume, I would like to see the volume animation bar on the Apple TV when I adjust the volume. Is this possible?

I don’t have any personal experience with an Apple TV, but it sounds to me like the Apple TV has a separate volume control to the TV that has a different onscreen display when adjusted. In other words, the Apple TV’s volume is adjusted independently of the TV and Beam.
Since the Beam is listening for volume up/down/mute commands through the TV directly, adjusting the Apple TV’s volume isn’t directly changing the Beam’s volume, so I don’t think it would be possible to have that onscreen display appear when controlling your Beam.
