I have my Sonos Beam connected to my Dish Hopper and TV via HDMI.

Suddenly yesterday, after I played some music on the Sonos system via Airplay from my Mac (iTunes), my Dish remote stopped controlling the volume on the Dish_TV-Sonos setup. The other controls on the Dish remote, but the volume and mute controls do nothing

How can I restore control of volume  to my Dish  Hopper remote?

TIA Caroline

The Dish remote will only be able to control the volume on the Beam when listening to TV audio.

Make sure TV Autoplay is enabled under the Beam’s settings in the Sonos app. When you switch back to TV audio, the audio from the TV should automatically play out of the Beam and the volume controls on the Dish remote should begin working again. You might have to press the up or down button on the remote to activate it.
