Hello everyone, I have a Beam 2 soundbar with a 4K neo Qled TV. When I watch Netflix, I am told many movies with the Atmos logo. On the other hand, when I read the film I see that on the application I am in: PCM MULTICANAL DOLBY 5.1. I tried with several movies and the only one where I see Dolby ATMOS appear in the sonos application is for the series The WITCHER. I don't understand what the problem is.. can you help me please 🙂🙂

Hi. Just bought a Beam 2 which is impressive but there is a problem playing a dvd or blue Ray disc. To do that on my Panasonic I need to switch from HDMI 1, my TV, to HDMI 13, the Blueray player. However the TV remote no longer seems to have access to controlling the TV. I have no idea why a sound bar would make my TV remote inactive!I control everything else through my Sky remote but can find no way of actually using the Blueray player.  can anyone help me please?

I subscribed to YouTube Premium so I can listen to my favourite YouTube music on Sonos. However, I am unable to find YouTube Live Streams on Sonos. My favourite DJs often stream live and I want to play those on my Sonos speakers.How can I do this please?

I have the same issue as described by this chap - But when I look at the setting mentioned (HDMI Input Audio Format) it’s greyed out? Should the TV be prepped by changing a setting before the Beam is plugged in or could there be another setting somewhere that needs tweaking before the above setting becomes available? If it provides a possible clue….when I select the speech enhancement option in the Sonos app, it doesn’t appear to make any difference, well, if it does then it is very, very subtle!Thanks

I have a Connect:Amp that shows a 30% discount available through the Upgrade program. I want to use this offer to purchase an Arc (£899-£629). However, upon adding this to my basket- where it appears to cost the discounted price of  £629- a discount of only roughly 15% is applied to my basket. It is the only product in my basket and I see no reason as to why only a 15% discount is applied when it says i’m eligible for a 30% discount. Any suggestions as to why this isn’t available?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get DTS discs to multi-channel using LG UBK90 - 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Disc Player, LG OLED 55C1, and the Sonos ARC +Sub+play1’s??

Hello all, now ive got the beam2 to play dts from disc’s, i would like to use a hdmi splitter/switch to do the following…..Firstly i have my LG CX tv connected to the beam via earc hdmi (atmos)Then the panasonic ub820 player connected to the tv via hdmi Now that i can get the beam to do dts via the optical out on the pan converted to the hdmi adaptor into the beam. I was wondering if i can use a hdmi splitter, rather than pulling them in and out when a want to spin one of me old a dts films? Because the single hdmi port will start to loosen otherwise. If i can what is the specs im looking for? as it has to support atmos. BTW I have to do this because the LG CX doesn’t support DTS, and have to use the optical out on the player to get this.Thanks m

Hello everyone,I’m new to the Sonos ecosystem. I’m potentially going to work with clients with Sonos systems. My job is to “listen” to what they play in order to make reports of what’s been listened. For this I need an output from the speakers to connect to our hardware, which has a minijack input.If I’m not mistaken there’s no outputs available in any of the Sonos speakers, and it seems like the only way would be to purchase a Port and manage all connectivity from there, is that right? Is there any other option to catch the stream? Maybe via IP, bluetooth? I don’t need the best quality for this, and the Port seems like an overkill, pretty expensive solution.Thanks a lot!

I'm looking at getting a Port-compatible cd player to integrate our vast cd collection with our Sonos system. Setting it up looks easy and straightforward, except for one thing: how do I control cd volume other than through the Sonos app? Ideally, the remote controlling cd playback would also control the volume. It's going to be playing almost exclusively over the Beam 2. which already supports my tv remote volume control. So is there a way to get the Beam to receive signals from a 2nd remote?

I've got the Arc and two book shelf speakers for surround. All in all the sound is "ok". It's no comparison to my Klipsch setup.  My biggest gripe for Sonos is lack of connectivity. No headphone jack.. no output for sub that I ALREADY OWN. Sonos wants to sell something like the Sonos connect to add functionality that should have been there in the first place.  For the amount of money that Sonos wants to charge, users would be better off purchasing a real setup such as what I use with the Klipsch speakers. There's really no comparison. So take it as some CC. 

I have two Sonos Roam speakers for my office and it's always just one speaker that will randomly stop the music and start back up a random amount of time later. I would have them either studio paired or just playing the same station on both speakers within like 15 feet of each other. Does anyone know why this would happen?

hi everyoneover Christmas I manages to get a playbar and two play 1s for under £500. when I got them home [I couldn't get the surround sound to work with my tv 40” Samsung (old) it dod have an optical out but would not sent the rear speakers (2 play 1’s) individual channel output. Can someone reccomentd a deep tv I cn pick up second hand on Ebay.  Also is there a way to hook up a cheep sub to the above. thanks B

Can I use Airplay2 to play Dolby Atmos songs from Apple Music on my iPhone on the soundbar? I tried it but the soundbar does not recognize it as Dolby Atmos.

I just got a Roam, and I’m having issues with the playback from both the system through WiFi and through bluetooth from my phone. The Sonos app shows that music is playing, but it’s faint and stuttery. Turning it on an off (either to sleep or full off, ) will sometimes fix it, and starting the music stream on one of the other speakers, grouping the roam to that speaker, then putting the Roam to sleep and waking it up, will often fix the issue. The power light will be solid white, but once I attempt to play music it starts flashing slowly between white and orange, which is supposed to indicate diagnostic mode, but even a factory reset and reconnecting the Roam to my system isn’t helping the issue.I also have yet to get the Roam to do anything more than stutter through bluetooth, and since the factory reset, can’t even get it to re-pair through bluetooth. I’m hoping there’s a quick fix, but my searches have come across similar issues, but no fixes (though it’s possible I’ve missed someth

As title I have an old Panasonic system that sound great but recently had sky q now it doesn’t work audio cables to tv nothing tried connect my 2 play5 ‘s they don’t seem to have any way of connecting so anyone know how to connect say a beam to sky q is it simple connect the digital cable to them ? And it just works doe’s everything then needs to be done through the Sonos app  many thank 

If I buy a Sonos Sub from Europe (Germany), can I swap the provided Power Cable (2 pin), for a Power Cable bought in the UK (3 pin plug )? Is it just a straightforward swap?Thanks in advance.

Hi , is anyone from Sonos on here and can check a diagnostic number? I have occasional sound jitter , happens once about every 2 weeks which is strange but it's just done it and this is the number 943072790Or am I better ringing ? Thanks

This worked for a year.  Remote lost sync and when I retrain it the MUTE will not mute.  Hello new to the forum.  I have a Samsung TV Xfinity X1 system and the new XR15v2 remote. If I press MUTE the play bar mutes but does not stay muted.  If I hold the MUTE button down it will MUTE but only because an accessibility dialog box pulls up?  Comcast had not advice. The App Mute feature works fine so not a play problem unless the commands are wrong for the xfinity remote? Steven

Re-upping this request from an older thread. Newer Sonos speakers use Bluetooth LE for setup purposes, but do not turn-off Bluetooth after setup is completed. It would be nice to be able to disable Bluetooth LE after setup like it is currently possible to disable WiFi when it is not needed. Other Home products like Roku have the ability to disable both WiFi and Bluetooth.

The Sonos S2 app for Apple TV seems to make sense now that many people use their Apple TV as an entertainment hub. Our TV spends 90% of its day connected to streaming audio, so why not have the TV (or box connected to it) include the visual connection to the streaming service?In my specific case, I want to have the Sonos app on my Apple TV behave similar to the “Now Playing” feature the Apple TV uses when it streams music.

When I save music to My Sonos, where do I go to find that music?

Hi everyone,I’m trying to add a product to my current system that already has 1x SONOS SL in it. My second SONOS SL product wasn’t found when searching. Unplugged and tried everything, apart from factory reset. If I factory reset the second SONOS SL, will it reboot the system (including the first SONOS SL)? scared to try!
