i have a sonos amp connected HDMI to my TV and line-in to my peloton. When using LFE to my 3rd party subwoofer, the line-in removes 75% of the bass which means i have to increase the gain to hear it at the same level when just using the sonos app. When using HDMI from the TV, or the sonos app, the subwoofer is way too loud which means each time I use the line in, i have to adjust the sub gain in the app up and then move it back down when watching TV or listening to music. Is this a known issue? How can i either set the equalizer unique to each input or have the bass output be the same across all inputs?
I’d like to take my pair of Sonos Moves to a friends house for a visit. What’s involved in hooking them up to a different wifi (while the rest of my sonos gear remains home) and then hooking them back up to my wifi when I get home?

Hi All,I am aware that Sonos beam does not support Bluetooth, but has anyone tried using any kinds of converter that helps to enable bluetooth connectivity with Sonos beam ?I have an LG HU70LA projector with firestick, which I want to mount on ceiling. Would you PLEASE add Scribd to Sonos Services?I asked this 2 years ago and still nothing and I have not been the only one, I reached out to Scribd and they said it has to come from your end, not theirs.I also requested the add to queue option for audiobooks like there is for music, would love to know where this is in development as well.
Hi, I had the problem that dialogs were extremely soft on my Sonos Arc + Sub + 2x One surround. I already tried:Enabling Speech Enhancement Enabling Night Sound Tuning via TruePlay Disabling the 2x One Surround Disabling Loudness Manually tweaking EQ Resetting to factory defaults and trying these things once moreThe problem remained. I found several threads with people reporting the same problem, some even returning their Arc:https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/ocsxnw/arc_dialogue_too_quiet/ And they all provided the same tips and strategies that I already tried and listed abive. Some of the tips would help maybe 20%, but dialogs remained extremely soft to the point where I too considered returning the Arc. I was coming from the Playbar and never had such issues. Then I found this post: which explained that the Arc does not support LPCM which my Apple TV 4K was sending out. In the Apple TV 4K’s audio settings, I had to explicitly opt out of Dolby Atmos and let it re-encode all
My local university radio station is cjsw.com. I can use my Sonos app to listen to the station with no issue. On the web site they have all the programming available to listen to after the fact. I can go back a month or two and listen to a show I may have missed. I can find no way on the Sonos app to open and play previous programming. Does anyone know if this is possible? If not possible it would be great if Sonos added this as a feature. And if it was dependent on the Radio Station allowing it I’m sure CJSW would be more than happy to oblige if a donation was made.
Hi Folks,I noticed today that below Sonos Radio stations have disappeared:Glide Path Drum & BassI’ve been unable to find an announcement about their removal. Are they missing for everyone?Does Sonos publish release notes for radio station changes? Many Thanks
After my Samsung Galaxy S20 updated to Android 12/One UI 4, I have lost the Sonos controller as a lock screen widget. The latest OS seems to group lock screen widgets in categories, such as “Music.” All of my device music/podcast app controls work as lock screen widgets in the music/media output category. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the Sonos controller working again on the lockscreen - never fully recognized how useful it was until it was gone.
Please can we have hi res audio for play bar? I can’t see it on the list of supported products and plan on keeping it for another couple of years yet. Thanks, Duncan
Driving me mad - does anyone know where I can find the version of Blondie - Heart of Glass that Sonos Radio plays? its not the original Parallel lines version as it has a different playout with Clem Burke doing different paradiddles to fade out. Help!
My Arc has been on back order. The expected ship date was 1/21/22, but I’ve heard nothing. Just keep waiting?
Hi all,I was looking at purchasing my first Sonos product with the view of progressing to a home cinema system and multiple speakers throughout my house. I’m probably looking at around £1000 to get started, so wondered what the best option would be. I currently own a Panasonic 49 inch tv which is wall mounted. My sitting room, is 4.60mx 3.60m so relatively small. I was looking at either the Beam + 2x OneSL or just the Arc? I could maybe stretch to the Beam + Sub at a push. I had just wondered if anyone had any recommendations as a startup? Thanks all.
Samsung 8K Television Antenna audio stops in Arc soundbar. DirectTV and Apple TV Sound never quits.Talented home owner and installer unplug electricity and Antenna audio works again. Looking for help.
Since the most recent updates to the controller and to players, the white status light on my new Roam will not turn off no matter what the settings are in the controller. I have seen a couple of other threads on this same issue that are closed to further comments. Does that mean Sonos is working on a fix? I do not have the same issue on my many other players and amps, just on the Roam.
I am considering a Roam for my office set-up and would prefer to position it vertically on my desk - my concern is that it doesn’t have the rubber ‘feet’ on the end, in the same way as it has on it’s side, and may cause it to vibrate on the desk surface. Does anyone have any experience with this type of set-up? Thanks D
Is there a station on Sonos radio that plays songs from Spoon’s new album, for example? It’s all over Sirius but I literally haven’t heard it once on a Sonos radio station. Indie Gold and Alternative Energy don’t play anything new.
Just purchased an Arc to go on my 2013 Panasonic Plasma, The TV has ARC HDMI but obviously no eARC. I see that I could buy the Fury splitter, but at that price I’d rather wait and get a 65”C1 at some point. Just not ready to depart with my Plasma yet.
Hi all,Adding to the pile of people with sound dropout issues. I’m using a Beam Gen 2 (brand new and fully up-to-date) with a Panasonic TX40JX850BZ (also brand new and fully updated)I’ve been getting an issue through the TV audio where the sound cuts out every hour or so, for about 10 seconds. It happens on all sources (standard TV through aerial socket, Netflix, YouTube, Chromecast) when connected to the HDMI eARC port. The issue seems to be resolved when connected via the optical converter. I don’t think using optical is a satisfactory solution as I bought the Beam to take advantage of my TV’s Dolby Atmos capabilities.I’ve been around the houses with both Sonos and Panasonic customer service. Sonos says it’s an issue with the TV, Panasonic says it’s likely a compatibility issue and will likely charge me if I send it to them for investigation/repair. I’m at my wit’s end as this combination was quite an extravagant purchase for me. Has anyone else managed to properly resolve an i
Hello, I would like to request the Sonos desktop app for Windows respond to the keyboard media keys (play/pause, next, etc.) when the program is not the focus. It seems this has been an ongoing request from many users for a number of years now. As someone who works from home often these days, it would be helpful to pause when I have to take a call or skip the track on command. I imagine this would also be useful for gamers, programmers, etc.
Im looking to upgrade my basement entertainment area to a complete sonos surround system. Since i have sonos throughout the house, this is the last room to be integrated. I currently have 3 hardwired speakers in the TV wall, and two hardwired in the ceiling above/behind the couch. I was thinking of setting up a sonos compatible receiver (Onkyo or Pioneer) to connect all my entertainment devices. I would like to avoid everything connecting to the TV since I already have the HDMI running behind the wall from the TV to the console table below.Do I still need the sonos amp with the compatible receiver, if i were to replace in wall and in ceiling speakers to sonos? Can I create a surround sound environment with 2 in wall sonos speakers in front, ARC sound bar in front, a Sub, and 2 in ceiling sonos speakers behind? I want to use the hardwired options since everything is already wired. Its a large basement. Ive looked on multiple threads but have only found mixed results. Thank you in advanc
Hi All I’m breaking my head trying to find a solution to streaming Netflix sound thru SONOS. When I watch Netflix in apple device (macbook, iphone) and airplay sound to SONOS, there is a slight but noticeable lag. I guess SONOS processes sound input before playing in speakers and that is causing the micro second lag in sound. Is there any good solution to listening movie sound thru SONOS. I was thinking of SONOS Port (although very costly) but understand that the lag issue will be there with Port also. I have ONE SL (2)+SUB in one room.
I thought I would test the new update that supports DTS. When I feed it a DTS signal from Plex, it is silent. If I disable the DTS audio in plex, it is transcoded to Dolby. My settings are all correct as far as I can see. I have tried DTS regular and DTS HD and neither work. My system and TV are both up to date.
Hi guys,Im a owner of the sonos arc and two sonos one gen2 speakers. I dont use the sonos sub.Does anyone know what EQ settings are the best to bring out the best sound?
