I thought I would test the new update that supports DTS.

When I feed it a DTS signal from Plex, it is silent.

If I disable the DTS audio in plex, it is transcoded to Dolby.

My settings are all correct as far as I can see.

I have tried DTS regular and DTS HD and neither work.

My system and TV are both up to date.

@Andrewnoob If you are using the LG CX, it doesn’t support DTS audio.

Only DTS is supported on Sonos HT products, not DTS-X or HQ. Anyhow, assuming you’re not using an A/V device with an audio extractor, it might be the connected TV that does not support or pass-through the DTS codec. I would perhaps check with the manufacturer, or elsewhere online like rtings.com to try to discover if that is possibly the case

Thanks, good to know - eARC seems a bit flawed.

I don’t think there’s a way to get PLEX to output PCM is there?
