Lock screen control missing on Android 12 / Samsung One 4

After my Samsung Galaxy S20 updated to Android 12/One UI 4, I have lost the Sonos controller as a lock screen widget. The latest OS seems to group lock screen widgets in categories, such as “Music.” All of my device music/podcast app controls work as lock screen widgets in the music/media output category. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the Sonos controller working again on the lockscreen - never fully recognized how useful it was until it was gone.

Hi @djjd,

We’re aware of some issues with the lock screen and playback controls on Android 12 and are working to resolve them with Google. It does look likely that this will be resolved with the upcoming launch of Android 12L (targeted for Spring 2022) per this article
