I’ve seen this topic before, but have never really seen any resolution.  I have had my system for about a year, and almost every day I have to reset it.  I have the Arc and two One SL for surrounds.  The Surrounds disconnect on a daily basis.  Now the sub has started doing it as well, and sometimes even the arc.  I will open the app and it can’t find anything in my system.  I unplug everything, and then it reconnects like nothing ever happened.  But it happens every day, and I can’t figure out how to fix it.  Does anyone know?  Thanks!

I work at a school with a sever and APs all over. I have a Sonos 1 in the main office, the lounge, and 2 in the cafe. If I group lounge and main office together they work or just the two in cafe. If I group all 4 together to play they do not work. Is it because they are on different APs (same network)? Is there a way to make this work or no? Also I have it on the student Wi-Fi because it doesn’t require a user name and password. I should have it on staff wifi but it requires username and password and I don’t think you can do that with sonos sadly.

How can I de-link the volume on my sonos speakers from my Regular wired speakers  which I use via Sonos Port?Tks in advance for your help

I’ve got the Sonos Surround Set. Just bought the Samsung QD-OLED, which has eArc.  I am now able to get Dolby Atmos and Dolby 5.1 etc through Netflix and Disney Plus, etc. However, when I put in some Blu-Rays where I should be getting Dolby or Dolby Atmos, all I’m getting is Stereo PCM. At the moment, my Blu-Ray player (Sony Ultra HD) is connected to the TV via HDMI cable. The Sonos Arc is connected to the TV via another HDMI cable. Am I missing something? I’ve looked at the menu on the Blu-Ray player, and I can’t see any settings that might need changed. Does anyone know how to sort this? 

Hi All. Here is my dilemma. I need to get my Connect my Sonos Arc from My Sony UBP 7000 Blu Ray player and From My Sony Blu Ray Player to my Optoma UHD35 for watching 3D Movies. Is HDFury Arcana my only option? 

Hi all. Has anyone got LPCM from DTS blu-rays using these pieces? I can get Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, but when I play a DTS disc all I get is “surround pcm.” I know the LG can’t play DTS, but I thought I’d be able to get 5.1 LPCM. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After resetting my phone (OnePlus) to factory settings, my playlists in the Sonos app are gone.I would think that any settings in the Sonos app would be unaffected by any device changes.Is there a way to restore my playlists?

I got Move for Christmas. My existing system is on S1. Only one speaker (Gen1 Play 5) needs S1 but I use it grouped with another speaker.  I want to set up the Move only on the S2 and keep my existing system separate. I just can’t seem to get S2 and the move up and running. I’ve tried adding the Move alone but it not pairing with I hit the rear connect button.  Any ideas? TIA

Hello all I would like advice on the positions of the arc and the two ones for atmos .the tv is wall mounted if I am wall mounting the arc is 4 inches enough clearance between the top of the arc and bottom of tv ? my sofa is against the rear wall and the ones are at ear height but against the wall to so I can get them behind me.how should I point the ones for best experience turned to face my sitting position or forward both pointing towards the tv screen ? Or to the centre of the room. I have used trueplay but the height sounds seem to be none existent.also do you have settings that best for the height and surround settings in the app?thabk you for your help

I use multiple audiobook services, and have found that both Audible and Libby are compatible with Sonos, but the one I use most, Chirp, doesn't seem to be set up to play together with Sonos.  Is there anything I can do to get my Chirp audiobooks to play? A workaround? Like direct wireless speaker function? Petition either Chirp or Sonos to make the compatible? Suggestions welcome.  PS, I have 3 of the IKEA symfonik (spelling?) IKEA+Sonos speakers and an operating a Google Pixel Pro 6 (android system), if that is relevant. 

I’m ignorant when it comes to sound and may have purchased the wrong thing. I have a Fluance turn table that does not have a built in preamp. I also have a Yamaha receiver is used to use to play it with in wired non-Sonos speakers. I now have two Sonos Ones I’d like to use for the turntable. Do I have the right equipment? I’ve tried to search for the right cord configuration and I cannot get it to work. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!the back of the Yamaha is as follows.   

I realise there are previous threads about this, but I can’t find one which has not been closed for further comments, so I’m having to create a new thread to add my voice.Feature request Please enable Sonos Roams to act as rear surround speakers in a home theatre setup (or enable this on a future generation of the product if the current gen does not include necessary internal hardware).Why?1. Not everyone wants rear surrounds installed all the time. I only occasionally watch a movie where I want surrounds. It would be much easier for me to repurpose Sonos Roam’s from elsewhere in the house to serve as temporary surrounds for a few hours than it would with any other Sonos speaker. Furthermore, other companies seem to think there is a market for customers who want temporary battery powered surround speakers - e.g. see Philips Fidelio 7.1.2 and JBL Bar 5.1 / 9.1 / 800 / 1000. 2. How to rip my old CDs to play them in my Sonos system. iTunes won’t let that work. Would using an mp3 player allow me to do this!

If I connect a Roam to a Ray sound bar can I use the Ray voice commands. 

I have stayed with S1 as I have a ceiling speaker running off an older sonos amp in the attic that I like to group with newer speakers. Suddenly today most of me speakers are showing incompatible in S1 and asking me to upgrade to S2, but if I do this I can no longer group the ceiling speaker that has to run on S1. Is this fixable? Very frustrating

I have two Samsung Smart TVs each with one PlayBar connected.  For at least the past five years I have been using the Samsung IR remotes that came with each TV to control the volume of the PlayBar connected to that TV.Yesterday, BOTH PlayBars stopped responding to the volume + button but not the volume - button on each remote.I have power cycled the TVs, PlayBars, and reconnected the remotes.  The issue remains.  The PlayBar will recognize the volume + button one time to connect but after that it does not respond to the volume + key.I find it strange that something like this would happen with two different systems at the same time.

Hi,I have sold a speaker, but forgot to reset it first. I cant get the buyer to reset the speaker, so now this speaker have link to my Sonos, and all my services. E.g. the buyer can now use my spotify account. How can I remote logout that speaker from my Sonos account?I have tried to remove the Spotify service from my Sonos, but when I add it again, the other speaker again have access to the spotify, becuae the speaker use my Sonos account, which has all the services.Can anyone help, to log out the speaker, og somhow reset my Sonos system?

Wonder if anyone can help out here.I am sending a signal from the Google Home speaker to a group of Sonos speakers via a Chromecast Audio going into the line-in of the Sonos Play:5 speaker. Since some time now the line-in signal would mysteriously disappearBoth Chromecast and Sonos claim the signal is going through but no audio is heard on the Sonos Play:5 speaker. If I reboot the Play:5, the signal returns back, but then it will disappear again after a week or two.I don't quite know what to do here and how to troubleshoot thisThoughts? .
