I have BEAM connected to a SONY Bravia KJ-49X9500H via HDMI.
There is no problem with normal TV programs, commercials, movies, Amazon Prime Video, etc., but only during NHK news the audio stops working.
I have tried various settings on the TV, but there is no improvement. Please tell me how to set this up.

If you disconnect the Beam from the TV, do you hear any audio from the TV speakers when watching NHK news?

Yes, if you remove the BEAM, you can hear the sound without any problem.

Hi, wondering if anyone has found a solution for this.

I use a Bravia 4K-UR2 TV with a Beam and Sub woofer connected with HDMI/ARC.

Until recently I did not have a problem with the audio during NHK news broadcast, however a few months ago the audio simply stopped.  Other channels and other input (e.g. DVD player, etc) do not display this issue, and outside of the NHK news programs NHK audio plays normally on the Sonos speakers.

I can play music on the home theater with the Sonos app, so all the network and connectivity seems to be okay.  When I set the TV to use the TV speakers, those work fine so the broadcast is okay.

Any ideas on what else to pursue here?
