From other forums I have learnt that I am not the only one Here is my post from the others I am new to Sonos and Dolby Atmos music. My Era300 arrived yesterday and I signed up for a 3-month trial of Amazon Music Unlimited which includes Spatial SoundThe problem is finding it via the Sonos App.It appears that you cannot tell if it is an DA album until you start playing it and then a little badge appears.I downloaded the desktop version of AMU and tried searching for Dolby Atmos stuff through there. I notice they have quality badgesHDUltra HDDolby AtmosEven the ones that were listed as Dolby Atmos albums only had the Ultra HD badge and not the DA badge. Now that might be because AMU is too clever and knows that my PC is not set up for DA.So, finally, my question isHow can I locate Dolby Atmos music albums on the Sonos S2 app without having to press play on every album?taps AMU Amazon Music UnlimitedDA Dolby Atmos
Hi All,I am having issues with groupings in my system and it is causing me a lot of frustration haha. I have searched a lot of topics but haven’t really found anything that aligned with my issue. I suspect it is something to do with my router and/or my beam however that is where I am stuck. I will give some context on what I have tried and what works/does not work.System Arc with sub connected to tv close to router Amp driving two in ceiling speakers and amp is placed in cupboard under arc Beam gen 2 connected to TV outside about 18m direct line of sight to router Router - Netcomm NF18ACVSo as it stands and in my ultimate set up, all devices are wireless. I can see them all in my system this is where my issues start. I only just added the beam to the system and that, the arc and amp were working well together without it.What happens under a wireless set up:Arc will group with amp Amp will group with arc Beam will not group with arc Beam will not group with amp I can cast Spotify to

I'm assuming that the line-in port on the Sonos Era will act as an input which can be played over a whole speaker group? If this is the case is the Sonos Port now more or less redundant if you upgrade at least one speaker from each of your speaker groups to an Era device. Can anyone confirm if my assumption is correct?
Hi! My new Sonos Era 100 is on Wifi channel 44 (5GHz) and my older Sonos Five is on WiFi channel 11 (2.4GHz) or Ethernet UTP cable. I do not own any other Sonos speakers. According to Sonos chat support, the speakers being on different wifi channels is the cause of the speakers being randomly ungrouped during playing music or Netflix audio through Bluetooth. Suddenly the audio content will only play on one of the speakers. Very annoying. According to Sonos chat support, I can't put the speakers in the same room to prevent ungrouping, because they are not the same type of speakers. How can I set both speakers on the same wifi channel? (channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4GHz)? Preferably by keeping my current auto select 2.4GHz/5Ghz. I do not enjoy two separate networks. Hopefully you can assist me! Any (creative) solutions are welcome :-) Regards
As part of house renovations I’m updating the whole music system, we’ve now got an exposed RSJ that separates the kitchen and dining room, its open plan but still distinct enough to be 2 different rooms. The RSJ would make a beautiful location for a beam gen 2 facing into the kitchen, then on the back on the RSJ facing into the dining room a pair of era 100’s. Does anyone have experience of the beam gen 2 vs the era 300? The era 300 wouldn’t be a natural fit anywhere in the room but if the sound is significantly better we may have to find somewhere. 2 pairs of era 100 was also a consideration but with the speakers being placed relatively high in the room the dolby atmos feature would most likely be beneficial.
Here’s what happens: I play music through one speaker in a room for a while then stop and go do something else. Later, I try to start music in a different room but it only plays in the room from earlier. The app allows me to change the speaker and room and shows that I’ve changed them...but the music keeps coming from the speaker from earlier. So I try to turn the music off entirely but it won’t turn off, just keeps playing from the speaker. So I close the app. Music keeps right on playing. It only stops when I go to the original room and unplug the speaker.
Hello! I have just received a new router and set it up. I cannot access the part of the Sonos app that is settings > WiFi, in order to connect my beam and Sonos one, it’s greyed out. Does anyone know a fix for this please? I have used the Ethernet for now but this is not ideal for me.
I have two Era 100 speakers in a stereo pair, I want to connect them via the ethernet. Do I buy one adapter and wire in one, or do I need to buy two adapters and wire in both?
How do I make a feature request? Is there somewhere people vote on feature requests? I realllllllly want to be able to listen to podcasts and audio books faster. throughout the house. I’m listening to half as many books. This is one of the main reasons I got the Sonos speakers.
Hello.Someone connect Play:3 to Echo Show ?Thank youTV4RD
I’m not quite getting the surround effect with my system (I watched Top Gun Maverick Last night, and the flyovers were not what I expected from an audio perspective). My current setup is Arc + 2 Era 300 surrounds + 2 Sub Gen 3s. I’ve ran TruPlay. Are my surround speakers too close to my seating area (see pictures). Any suggestions are appreciated!
The Sonos One would be an excellent PC speaker if Sonos had considered it. For me it would improve sales if they also thought about PC consumers who want quality audio in their systems whether it is for listening to music or playing games.
Querría saber si teniendo el era 300, merece la pena comprar el sub mini. Se notaría bastante la diferencia entre tenerlo y no?gracias
Hello,I switched wifi network to which my two speakers were connected two in stereo. To transfer them to the new network, io performed factory reset to the Play:1 (not the wisest move, I know).I then connected them with a cable to the router and got them to the network. Issue now is that I can only see one on the app: if I’ll unplug one the other will be live on the up, and vice versa, but not both. I performed a full power cycle - router, speakers and app, but that didn’t solve. I can see they are on different sonosnet channels, although this is greyed out (but they are both on the wifi anyway?).What is going on? help please!
I have a Sonos one and a Sonos 5 on my home system. I have taken the Sonos one on holiday but am unable to connect it to the network either on wifi or using Ethernet cable. I have tried a factory reset and it finds the speaker but then cannot connect to the network
Part 1 - My Sonos S2 App intermittently fails to find my system and keeps giving me the option to fix the connection, it then searches for the system and fails to find it. Keeps happening on and off. I have 2 Symfonisks and a Sonos Roam.Part 2 - My Sonos S2 App won’t play back tracks that I select with the message “unable to play the selected track” - however if I ask the Alexa app to “play [song] on Dining Room” it works? Part 3 - My Google Assistant on My Sonos Roam often plays completely unrelated tracks via Spotify, even though it has said that it is going to play a specific track that I have requested (sometimes it says it is going to play a track and then nothing happens)I was onto Sonos help last month and reset the system via Ethernet/reinstalled App etc etc - it then connected fine but now the same problems - over and over again….
I'm looking to purchase the Era 100 to replace a digital radio. What will the speaker play when I switch it on, without using the app? Will it play the last played playlist/radio?
My sonos system was originally comprised of two One SL speakers and an Arc. Four months ago, I bought two additional One SL speakers and installed them as “paired” in the same room. The system worked great for months, no issues. In the last few weeks, when I am select my paired one speakers, the music plays for a while and then randomly stops. When I look at my phone, it is as if the music is paused, and when I go to re-select the paired speakers, they don’t show up. Not until I unplug both of the paired speakers, and sometimes event the internet router, will they show up again. This only seems to happen with my paired speakers. Does anyone know why this would be happening? It’s strange that the system worked fine for months, and in the last few weeks, this has become an issue. I primarily use the Spotify app for music, but when the paired speakers drop out of appearance, they are not viewable in the sonos app either.
Hi, I just received my era 100 and I purchased an adapter on amazon (usb c - jack male) I didn’t want to buy the official because it’s a usb c - jack female so I will have to put an other cable jack male - jack male. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work 😑Do you think it’s because it’s not an official cable or the issue come from other thing ? thanks ✌️
Good evening ! I have bought my Sonos system in Hong Kong and recently moved to France.I have tried several times to set it up but failed endlessly. Can someone please help.Getting really frustrated here. BIG THANK YOU
Hello,i’ve been using for the last year an Arc+Sub(gen3)+2 Ones setup in my living room and everything worked as expected. The Arc is connected via Ethernet so all the speaker show as WM0Last week i bought two Era 300s to replace my ones a surrounds.I removed the Ones as surrounds from the app, configured the Eras and again, everything went well. After like two days i decided to plug my old Ones in other rooms of the house (bath and bedroom) and the first thing i noticed was that they still showed up as WM0, shouldn’t they show up as WM1 and not use SonosNet?But most importantly, as soon as i turn on the two old Ones the whole setup starts to mess up and randomly i get disconnections from the sub, stuttering from the Eras, and random stops on the Ones.Did i do somehing wrong in this process? should i have factory reset the ones after removing as surrounds or something like this? I’ve already checked that there are no duplicate ips, no interference or anything like that (besides as i sai
I can hear voices coming out of my rear ONE SL’s. Is this normal? As far as I understood the surrounds were only meant to output surrounding noises (things off screen for instance).
I’ve just set up my ERC 300’s as a stereo pair and am playing Apple Music Spatial audio which is showing Atmos in the app. However I don’t notice any difference turning the Spatial Music Immersive option on or off.
Hi, may I request a toggle to disable bluetooth on Sonos One Gen 2, similar to how we can disable WiFi? Thank you!
