I’ve changed my Internet provider and I can’t reconnect Sonos One to the new one. I am using Sonos app on my Android phone, it finds my device but when I enter my network password i shows me: ‘There was a problem connecting your Sonos One to “” ‘ and that’s it. My network is 2.4 GHz, I’ve split 5G and 2G band as recommended, using WPA2 personal mixed. The router model is Linksys WHW03 V2. I’ve managed to reconnect all other devices without any problem, the problem is only with Sonos One.
I have a Beam G2 new in the box.The primary use is as a soundbar generally, and specifically to take advantage of the Atmos output of my LG TV.Can a new user survive the current app and enjoy the speaker? Remember, I have no prior Sonos experience, and am currently not interested in expansion of services or hardware. No flames necessary, thanks for your assistance.
Trying to get the app to find my Play 1s after I changed the router. Successfully reset it to factory settings and set it up with one connected to router and the other on the same wifi channel. Linked as a stereo. System found the registration etc. All good until I unplugged and moved to my living room. Now app can’t find the products.
This happens on my Move 2 pair and Era 300 from all music sources including local library. Move 2 resets if placed on charger momentarily. Barry is at 99% btw. On eras the non working speaker has to be power cycled. Diagnostic **Moderator Note: Diagnostic removed for privacy*
I am so disappointed in Sonos - have been using it for over 10 years… service is now just garbage. I needed to switch to a new router- this should be a push of a button. It could not be done without call help desk - 1 hour waiting - 40 minutes on the phone - then he got it working w Ethernet only. Tried to switch to wifi - followed instructions - not recognizing any products - no viable solution on the website… only has direction for S1 I have S2…Back on a call for support - message was 50 minute wait - actually waited an hour and 20 minutes before I had to leave for an appointment. This is ridiculous…. I have 8 speakers and want out. Will not use the upgrade options because I don’t want to continue my investment in this company.Any advice on best alternatives?
Hallo. Ich bin ratlos Danke und liebe Grüsse Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hello.I've had the problem for 2-3 months that I can't connect my two Sonos Ones.I've tried everything.Reset everything, router and Sonos devices.I've also tried using a LAN cable.Changed the password,Nothing works, I can find the device with the app and as soon as I enter the router password, the message appears after a minute"Sonos
Wer weiß was? Viele Grüße
Hello!I use Google assistant for everything, and bought this Sonos BEAM beacause it now supports GA.The thing is, even if it is available for PT (as I said, I use it daily at my home), Sonos does not officially support it… so I cannot add it to my speakers. Is there a way to do this?
This topic is older and might not have the most up to date information. Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. I have reconnected my system after changing router. All six speakers show up in the system. Only one of six speakers actually play. When I select other speakers or use “everywhere” I get a banner saying “unable to connect, try again later”. When playing music on the one speaker that works it stops after a few songs and goes back to the first song in the playlist…. I have turned off the router and signed out and back in etc. Needless to say, we have had all kinds of issues since the catastrophic launch of the new app. Very grateful if someone can help!
I changed my broadband provider today, as expected, non of my sonos devices work, none of the instructions in the app on line fix, the device works with an ethernet cable in, remove the cable and it doesn’t. Why on earth in 2024 are Sonos products completely incapable of working whereas everything else does, how can they get it soo wrong. Wasted hours and hours of my day for nowt.
can’t add sonos era 100 to system
How do I disconnect Sonos Play3 out of system?
I have 2 era 100's , can I either connect them with 1 era 300 or use them as surrounds to the era 300?
5 Play 1’s, a Play 5 and a subwoofer, all useless due to speakers dropping out, an unresponsive app and speakers that literally won’t stop playing (not all of them of course because you can’t get all of them to play together). I actually have to unplug speakers to stop the music. After a very frustrating 9 months of Tier 2+ support this Electrical Engineer is junking the whole system for a more analog replacement. Sonos has become a damn joke and I will disparage the product any chance I get.
Whenever i turn my sonos one volume to max, it plays at maximum volume for a few seconds and then, automaticly adjusts its sound level to the equivalent of around 65% yet still displays 100%Factory resetting did not solve my issue, and after hours of searching i couldnt find a solution.
Hello here! What am I doing wrong? Every time I put my podcast or radio on pause on my computer (which happens tens of times per day) - even for just 3 seconds (e.g. i go and look for something in another room etc.), my Sonos ERA 300 shuts down. When I put the sound back on, it needs ~10/20 sec to air music again so I have to stick by my computer, go to my “setting” pick the ERA again and wait for the sound to come back, which is a hyper painful. It’s such a poor experience, I don’t use my ERA anymore due to that, and I think there must be a parameter I get wrong. How can I fix that to make sure the ERA does not put itself in sleep mode after a few seconds pause? Many thanks!
On my Play:1 first Gen. the light is not on. I’ve tried another outlet and changed the cable also. Also tried to push the Play bottum but nothing works and my Play:1 is not contacteble.
Like many others, I’m having difficulties connecting my Sonos speakers to a Google Nest Wifi Pro mesh network. My Arc, Move, Five, and Amps are connected fine. My Sub and two Ones aren’t.Tech support had me factory reset speakers, reconnect them, restart my Nest routers, round and round for about 5 hours, and eventually everything connected. That was two weeks ago. Today the Sub and Ones are off the network again. I factory reset them and tried to re-add them but that failed.I’ve read the threads on this topic but they are all closed so I thought I would start this new one. Here are a couple details I think make my situation particularly difficult:Not all of my Sonos are close enough to each other to see the Sonos network, so I can’t rely purely on SonosNet. Instead, I have wired two Nest routers to each other over a long distance. All Sonos can therefore see my wifi network. I also have Nest routers that are not wired together. None of my Sonos are close enough to the primary rou
Now i’m getting real tired of being a Sonos user.Since update to IOS 17.6 and 17.6.1 my speakers are totaly bonkers.i saw the CEO’s update, so i think it’s a bigger problem than just me.i have 2 Era 100 conected with my turntable and TV. Bur the Line-in looses connection all the time. And when it’s connected, the sound moves from left to right constantly.i have deleted the system and set it up again, but the same happens. So now i’m getting a bit pissed that a company that produces high-end products don’t deliver.more people with the same problems?
I am using some older outdoor speakers in my Lanai, wired to a connect amp inside. The sound is not the best. (My wife got used to the sound Sonos can put out LOL) I was thinking about using 2 Play 1’s but the humidity here might be bad for them. I am looking for recommendations for a wired speaker that will work well with the Connect Amp. I may upgrade to the new Amp for a bit more power but for now the Connect Amp is what I have.
Hi folks I just moved to a new apartment with Verizon Fios. It’s big (2500 sq feet) with concrete walls so the fios guy put an extender in each of the two bedrooms- the router is in the living room. my question is: what is the best setup? The router and both extenders have lan outs of course. my (5 year old) equipment:sonos extender6 Sonos one1 Sonos playbar1 Sonos floor bass unit (I forgot the name but it’s big and heavy)and I am thinking of adding a few more speakers once everything is set. should I:plug the Sonos extender into the router and one rj45 into 1 play one - living room (wired)Two play 1 into each extender in the bedrooms (wired)the playbar and bass in the dining area (not wired)three play 1 (not wired)? thanks for your input
Is it just my 2 systems or do others have extravagant Sonos systems that have simply stopped working all together… and I was told I had a 48 hour wait on hold to speak to someone… Yes 48 hours… has the company folded????
Why do my Sonos One and Sonos One SL drop connections all the time? Why is the sound muffled and the EQ so weird so often? Why does the Spotify function in the Sonos App not play—like ever? Why does Spotify only find the Sonos speakers maybe 30% of the time? Why did it take four attempts to even log on to this community to so much as ask these questions? These problems have dragged on for years! As a result I don’t have the music I’d love in my life nearly as much as I’d like. I invested in Sonos thinking it was high quality. It has been years of frustration and disappointment. How dare you put a product into market that’s this completely broken!!!! And on such a consistently bad basis!
2xEra 300 in a stereo pair, connected to the Internet via Ethernet, (Sonos combo adapter) Ipad pro controller also connected to the Internet via Ethernet. Today I am experiencing audio dropouts when playing music in Apple Music on iPad, Android and the webb app.Only AM, Spotify works normally.Restarting devices, logging out/logging in and deleting/adding AM in the Sonos application, etc., does not help. Could it be some AM failure?
Why can’t the One SL be used with the S1 app? Is it because of hardware limits? Or is it because of firmware locking?
