Speakers

I have a Sonos system of various speakers around the house. The system was working alright, no drop outs, songs skipping on their own, the app was relatively responsive. Only issue would be a delay between the speakers when starting playback, but this was minor.I replaced my old wireless mesh router system (Linksys) with a new one (ASUS) with the same SSID set up to try to get stronger signal and better performance. However, ever since the Sonos system has been a mess. It won’t connect to some speakers occasionally, playback skips songs on its own, stops randomly on some speakers, and the app is very unresponsive. It’s almost unusable.I’ve tried common troubleshooting like factory resetting all speakers individually (took forever), binding speakers to specific nodes, rebooting the routers, rebooting Sonos, changing channels and other router settings (qos off, airtime fairness off, power saving options off), binding all speakers to a dedicated IP, and reinstalling the Sonos app. No impr

My sub all of a sudden stopped working and now the system can’t find it 

I  recently switched over from Bose Soundlink Mini to Sonos Roam 2. I did this primarily to sync my new speaker to my homes Wifi system, along with the ability to pair more speakers in the future. I could not get my speaker to show up on my home Wifi system. I contacted Live Chat I they helped me get my speaker setup, but could not get the speaker to show up on my Spectrum Wifi system. Through some diagnostic research. it had been determine that my Spectrum Router was non compatible with the Sonos software. Consequently Sonos software does not support any Spectrum or Charter routers. The Live Chat technician said the software developers have not fixed the incompatibility issues. Out here in Winfield, Mo, we don’t have much to choose from Cable carriers. I would have liked to invested in a whole house speaker system, but the Sonos software developers have not made that possible for me. I am very disappointed to find this out after I had purchased the speaker.  I love the speaker, but I 

I just purchased and did initial setup of my first Sonos speakers 🎶 They worked, but then some of the products started not showing up in System. I reached out to support and it’s the known router issue (SAX1V1S). a few questions…They speakers are all currently displaying in my system.  will they continue to randomly drop off?  (the more important question)… I’m nervous about getting a router and connecting it to the current spectrum modem and having it work with Spectrum, and with Sonos. Can anyone recommend one they’ve gotten that has been successful, and can you share your process with the setup?Thank you!

My Sonos has been working fine , then Friday, it dropped all products from the system, and after repeated attempts to factory reset, reset routers, attempt to reconnect to the network…blah blah blah, I will not show up as a working system again. I’ve had sonos since it became a thing, and this is really the FIRST problem Ive had.  Thanks !

Gen 3 sub showing up on app as “not connected”.  New arc connected and working fine. Wi-Fi on the arc is enabled. Both sub and arc are on the correct wireless network. Wi-Fi enabled on sub.  I have factory reset everything multiple times and followed the steps all the way through successfully on both the arc and sub.  Following the completion of the steps, Arc works fine and sub remains to show up on the app as ”not connected” 

My system is 2+ years old and was working perfectly until a few weeks ago. I wish I could pinpoint an app version, but can not. I two Stereo Pairs setup. in my living room I have 2 One SLs w/ a Sub Gen 3 setup as a pair. In the bedroom I have 1 One and 1 One SL setup as a pair, no Sub. I’m having a problem in both rooms… same problem. When starting to play music from the App, from any device, or when asking Alexa or Sonos to play music via voice, the music cuts in an out, plays, then one speaker, usually the right stops all together. I’ve done several things to narrow down the issue. Factory reset the devices and left the speakers as independent speakers (no sub).  When I did this, music played flawlessly on all speakers either individually or when grouped in any combination.  Reconnected them as a pairs, problem reoccurs.  Factory reset them again and recreated pairs Problem reoccurs. As the title. I am just setting up my Era 300. I have no other Sonos kit. Used the app to set up and all seemed good.When I went back into the app to set up voice etc, ut searches for updated and then showed error code 1064 - any ideas ?

Sonos speakers keep cutting out from internet. This isnt just once in a while it happens multiple times per hour where they just stop mid stream. I have the era 100 (pair), beam and arc with a sub gen 3. I finally got the system set up after the huge sign in/update error loop the app had on ios. Have already factory reset and then separately updated network connection on them after re syncing them to my account.Anyone know what the issue is?iphone 15 pro max, most recent app as of posting, already did software updates to speakers

So I ordered the Sonos Line In Adapter, plugged it in, ran 3.5 Audio cable from Mac Mini m1. Sonos instructions which I bet are before the new app say selected line in as a source but I’m not finding that in the app. I’m sure I must not be looking in the right place. Any help would be appreciated.

Status light will not turn off. I have reset the controller and the system and turned the light off in settings but it will not turn off 

The new app is still not usable for me I'm on android so I'm using 16.1 , how do I keep my speakers firmware updated or can I ?

Hallo Community,der Telefonsupport konnte mir nicht helfen.Und im Chat werde ich immer wieder rausgeworfen ohne mit jemandem geschrieben zu haben.Ich habe zwei Sonos One SL in meinem Verkaufsraum, im Wlan, im perfekten Empfangsberich von einem Repeater. Die Verbindung ist immer gut.Seit geraumer Zeit, geht die Musik immer wieder aus. Ich stelle die Playlist ein, die Musik läuft. Nach ein paar Stunden, immer etwas unterschiedlich, geht die Musik aus, es kommt kein Ton aus den Boxen.In der Sonos App läuft die Musik weiter. wenn ich die einzelnen Lautsprecher nach der Fehlfunktion wieder in der App an und ausschalte, geht es wieder.Für mich aber natürlich im Verkaufsraum nicht sinnvoll, immer wieder nachzubessern, alle paar Stunden.Am merkwürdigsten ist, dass die Wiedergabe zuvor immer funktioniert hat, die Ausgewählte Playlist lief immer wieder durch, konnte an den Boxen ein- und ausgeschaltet werden. Hey All,I work in an office with 30 people who all use Wi-Fi. We have 7 Sonos speakers set up throughout the office: 6 Era 300s and 1 Arc.Very often, when we try to group the Sonos together, we get the message “unable to connect, try again later.” Only one speaker will connect and the others wont.Is there a way to fix this issue?  

Have not been able to connect Play 1 or 3 for several months. I have an iPad, OS17.4.1; that is several years old.

Will One SL and Play:1 and Play:5  work well in the same network ?

I connect to Sonos, the music start but stops quickly ans doesnt résumé. A problème that has been going for several Days.

My Sonos One SL speaker will just shut off during the middle of me using it.  It’s done that for a couple months now and I’ve finally decided to ask here.  Has anyone had this issue?  Like it completely disconnects from the internet and I can longer find it in the app. I’ve shut it off and restarted, I’ve reconnected the internet, I’ve checked everything in the app.  

Hello everyone, I am writing this to share with you the bad experiences that I am unfortunately having, and that is that the audio quality of my Sonos series 100 is horrible. I've literally turned down the bass at -10 because it sounded super saturated, even at -10 which is the maximum it becomes distorted because yes, I tried both yt music and spotify and there is no difference, they have the same problem, is this normal? If not, is there any way to exchange it for another model? My Sonos speakers worked fine in previous home.  New home and internet provider but kept the same Wifi password.  Cannot connect speakers.  Wants me to use ethernet for initial start but modem is ceiling mounted.  Any work around?

So after getting the app update yesterday my Sonos system is now destroyed. The new app does not work - could not play anything, would not connect to my music library. Tried resetting the app - this did not work. Have just reset the entire system, reset teh speakers and now it is even worse as I cannot re-connect the speakers! Waht the f*** is going on?Please can you revert to the app that was working perfectrly well on Tuesday? I now have 2 speakers that I may as well throw in the bin.Can anyone recommend another decent speaker system as I fear Sonos has just shot itself in the foot...

I have asked this question before but didn’t get an answer.  when my Roam runs out of battery and I plug it in it won’t turn on for like 15min.  is this a flawed design or my speaker is malfunctioning? thabk you

My Sonos one will not connect to account when finalizing set-up it chimes turns the green and white light on top then states cannot connect to account, anybody else had this issue?

When my Sonos Roam battery runs off and I connect it to power I can’t play music. I vitally I can’t turn it on at all for a while like 10 or 15 min. Is this a design flaw or my roam is malfunctioning?Thank you.
