I recently upgraded my router, but now connection to speakers other than Move 2 falls off about every 24 hours. I have to unplug and re plug to get them working again
I just got a new router from Orange; a Livebox7. I have configured a 2.4GHz band. But failed to connect 3 One SL speakers. I can see the speakers in my router connected to the WiFi, but the Sonos app does not see the speakers and I Conan not finalize the set up. Sonos customer care was not able to help, after endless resets, etc. Is there someone who can explain how to change the settings on my router to make this work?
Can I turn off the voice enabled feature?
Hello,I cannot get these speakers on the same network so that I can play the same music on both.
I’m trying to connect two Sonos One speakers that have been shelved for a couple of years. The app doesn’t find them. How do I reconnect?
Hi. Just bought the line in adaptor from Sonos and connected to my audio technica AT-LP3XBT. Sound playing straightaway but the sound is dropping in and out from the right speaker (the one not connected with line in). Stereo pair set up and plays fine with Bluetooth from turntable. Any idea what could be causing this please ? thanks
Just left CenturyLink for Spectrum. This fixed the business related issues I was having with upload speed and video conferencing but wrecked my Sonos system’s functionality. I’ve had a perfectly working system supporting 10 different Sonos products throughout my house on CenturyLink for years, bragged about how amazing Sonos was, etc., but now, it’s all just a memory. About half of my Sonos products are constantly dropped from the app, nothing is reliable to the point I have just given up. That effortless quality is gone. I’ve talked with Spectrum support, tried their recommendations but to no avail. From research, seems like a mesh router, in particular eero 6+, may be the answer. Has anyone else had a similar experience and this was the fix?
Hi, I have a Sonos system that consists of IKEA Symfonisk lamp speakers (x5), Sonos One (x2), Play:3 (x2), and a Sub.I kept my system on version 16.1 (April 2024) until recently, about two months ago. During that time, I didn’t have any issues — everything was working flawlessly. At the end of January, I acquired two Sonos Roam 2 speakers, and in order to use them, I had to upgrade the system to the latest version. I also enabled auto-updates so that my system stays up to date. I use the Android app and the Sonos desktop app on Mac. For at least two weeks now (maybe even longer — I didn’t pay close attention at first), I’ve been experiencing major issues when playing music on the IKEA lamp speakers. Most of the time, I use a local music library hosted on my Synology NAS (same setup as in the past couple of years). I usually listen to playlists with around 250 tracks. I’ve observed that very often, during playback on the IKEA speakers, tracks are skipped — sometimes one, sometimes multi
I recently purchased and have been using a SONOS ERA100, and I have discovered a reproducible issue. I am not sure whether this problem is specific to my device, so I would like to inquire.Product:SONOS ERA100Issue:When using AirPlay from an iPhone running iOS 26.4.1 with the default Music app, if I add a song to the queue using “Play Next,” the next track starts from about 30 seconds into the song. This issue occurs consistently when “Play Next” is used while the currently playing track has about one minute remaining. For tracks that start midway, the playback position becomes inconsistent with what is shown on the iPhone screen. In other words, the screen appears as if the track is playing from the beginning. The same issue occurs on another iPhone in my household running iOS 26.4.1. However, an older iPod running iOS 15 plays without any problems.
Hi everyone,My Sonos Beam (Gen 2) suddenly stopped working while I was listening to music through the Sonos app. Since then:• The Sonos app no longer shows any installed devices or system setup• The Beam displays no LED indicators whatsoever — not even a faint light on power-up• I have tried plugging it into a different power outlet• I have tried a different power cable• I have attempted a factory reset, but the unit shows no response at allThe speaker appears to be completely unresponsive, as if it has no power — yet the outlets and cables I tested are working fine with other devices.Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be a hardware failure, or is there something else I can try before contacting Sonos support?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I just bought 6 era 100sl.I'm getting crazy to connect them . They disappeared or never end the actualization . I'm using an open WiFi from the hotel .We want to use it combining music in differents areas . Can anybody help me please ? Thanks
I have two SONOS devices. I’ve sold one of them. How can I transfer the sold SONOS device from my account to the buyer? I saw the option in the mobile app, but I’m worried it might transfer all my devices. Can you help me?
Factory reset instructions say to unplug the power cord and hold a certain button down while plugging it back in.Can we not just turn the speaker or whatever off at the wall socket and turn it back on while holding the button instead of actually unplugging the power cord. Wouldn't that do the exact same thing and be so much easier i mean if we can then why dont Sonos just say to turn the speaker off at the wall then turn it back on while holding the button down? seems extremely overkill to me to tell us to pull the power cable out. Some peoples cables are hard to get to.Out of curiosity i did actually test it and it seemed to work fine but i dunno just seems like they really overcomplicated the reset procedure and I cant think of a reason why they would do that. Which leads me to think unplugging the cable is actually important and my reset may not of actually wiped everything
I have bought 2 x Era 100s to connect to my Beam1 to use not as surround sounds but as additional speakers. The Era play but I can not get the Beam tomplay as the group or injunction with the Eras? nothing Support AI suggests works?
Now you can only enable or disable status light for the speaker that played the right/left sound when doing the stereo setup. If you want to turn both steps light on or off you have to disable the stereo pair.Set each speaker status light on or off and then do the stereo pairing again. Still you can only control the speaker played the right/left sound.
Hello,I have trouble with my sonos system in my restaurant. The volume is changing by its own ! most of time reducing, i have same issue with sonos radio and spotify.I have 3 era 300, 2 era 100 and one sonos one, connected on unifi wifi system (no wire connection).I have contact the support many times bu no solution.Have you any idea ?Regards
Hi SonosI’d like to make a simple feature request to make the Sonos Five a lot more usable in aux input mode. Currently, the Sonos Five would switch into standby within 10 seconds after it stops sensing audio input. This is far too short and aggressive of a time. The speaker would go silent from the fadeout of songs, and then the speaker would miss the first few seconds of the next song as it suddenly springs out of standby. This is even worse with a pair of Fives. Then both speakers go into standby, then one speaker comes out of standby, and only one speaker plays, and then 1-2 seconds later the second speaker wakes up and plays. This happens not just on music, but on movies with quiet scenes too. Can you imagine the annoyance of hearing the speaker go quiet, miss several seconds of dialogue, and suddenly wake up multiple times during a quiet scene? This also happens on voice chats when I finish speaking, and the other person starts speaking, and I miss out on several seconds of what
Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with my Sonos Beam (Gen 2) randomly disconnecting from WiFi, and I can’t figure out why. Here’s what’s happening:- After rebooting, it connects to WiFi normally- But after about 1–3 days, it loses the connection- When that happens, it completely disappears from both AirPlay and the Sonos appOn my router:- It still shows up in the DHCP client list (so it had an IP assigned)- But it does NOT appear in the active client list anymoreThings I’ve already tried:- Set a DHCP reservation (static IP)- Separated 2.4GHz / 5GHz SSIDs (Beam is on 2.4GHz)- Disabled Smart Connect- Restarted both router and Beam multiple times- Factory reset the Beam and set it up againSome extra context:- It always works fine right after a reboot, so initial connection seems fine- The problem is that it can’t maintain the connection over time- I’d prefer to keep using WiFi (wired connection isn’t an option in my setup)Has anyone seen something like this before or knows what might be caus
I recently purchased a stereo pair of Fives, and a couple months back a stereo pair of Era 100s. I first noticed the issue on the Fives that Trueplay had turned off (not by me and I am the only one using the app, etc) and the EQ settings had gone to 0 and loudness off also. Then I noticed this was also happening on the Era 100s., but no other speakers throughout the house, and there are a few. At a suggestion by someone on reddit, I factory reset the Fives and set everything back up again yesterday (set the two as stereo pair, performed trueplay, set the eq and turned loudness on). Today, the same issue occurred. Trueplay was off, EQ back to 0, and loudness off. WTH!? Kind of annoying. Is anyone else having this issue?, because to me it seems like an issue with the app,. and I really, really hope not a hardware issue since, of course, I dropped a good buck for these speakers.
I’m reaching out for some clarification on the recommended network setup for our Sonos system, as we’ve been experiencing some stability issues and want to make sure we’re configuring everything correctly. Our setup:• 15 speakers across 3 floors (~1,500 sqm)• Mix of Play:1 and Sonos One• UniFi network with RSTP enabled (we do not want to turn this off just because Sonos only works with STP) We’ve tested a few configurations and are seeing conflicting results: 1. All speakers wired (Wi-Fi disabled)• This caused STP loops on our switches• We’re unsure if Wi-Fi is truly disabled, or if speakers are still communicating via SonosNet in the background 2. One speaker wired, rest on Wi-Fi• This resulted in frequent dropouts• We currently do not run a 2.4GHz network, only 5GHz+ 3. All speakers on Wi-Fi (split system by floor)• This has been the most stable so far, though only tested for a few days Given the above, could you please advise:• Do you recommend wiring all speakers in a setup like ou
Moderator Note: Translation by Google Translate- Hello,For several weeks now, the Sonos app has become unusable. My two Symfonisk products, a Floor Lamp and a Shelf, are constantly disconnecting, and I have to reconfigure them in the app almost every day.I set them up over a year ago and never had any problems. My Wi-Fi configuration hasn't changed, and I've tried restarting my router without success. As it stands, my two products are
.: Hello, I have a Sonos Arc soundbar and 2 Sonos One SL speakers in my living room. They can receive sound from my OLED flatscreen tv. I’ve had the One SL speakers for >1 year, and have never had a problem with them until now. Simply put, they will not broadcast any sound. I’ve tried all the “solutions” found on various Sonos Help Pages, and nothing has worked, I have rebooted my router, I have unplugged and plugged in each SL speakers, and I have deleted the speakers from my Sonos App and then reintroduced them, complete with having to walk around my living room, moving my arm up and down, as the speakers played the repeating pulsing sound until the growing circular line on the app was complete. The SL speakers were working and wereloud during the setup with that repeating pulsing sound, but haven’t made any noise since. On the app page that shows my “rooms,” there are three llisted: Living Room (TV), Living Room (Line In - Audio Component,) and Pro-Ject Turntable (No Content. See
With the latest update I was pleasantly surprised that my stereo pairs had individual set for each speaker. When I hit the volume bar a second set of bars appeared that provided the ability to set the each member of the pair. It’s now gone. What happened and how do I get this function back? Thanks.
