My Sonos setup:4 rooms:Office: Stereo pair of One Gen 2 (left) & One SL (right) (both on 5 GHz wifi) Living Room: Sonos Beam Gen 1 (on 2.4 GHz wifi) Kitchen: One Gen 2 (on 5 GHz wifi) Bedroom One Gen 2 (on 5 GHz wifi)All running the latest Sonos firmware (91.0-70070)My network:1x Eero Pro 6 (running the latest Eero firmware)(I used to have a second Eero Pro 6, but I’ve recently found that a single unit provides sufficient coverage for my whole house. Hello - I have 2 x Era 300s on a wifi network and would like to add a couple more smaller speakers to the system to fill out the room. Usecase is music in a midsized room.Budget is an issue so looking at second hand, will older models like Play 1 do the job? Any older models that wouldn't work?Thanks.

I lost WAY too much time on this issue.If it can help at least one person to not lose as much... Turns out that, if you are using your Sonos in a Dual-Stack Environment, if you only get Name-servers over IPv6, Sonos is unable to use them. Your name-servers NEED to be reachable over IPv4 for Sonos to work. Hopefully, this bug gets fixed soon as more and more ISP’s are transitioning and leaving the legacy where it belongs.

I have recently had a new Vodafone router and now my Sonos One Gen2 will not accept the WiFi password.I have done a factory reset of the speaker, rebooted the router, switched off the extender, connected to ethernet cable and none of these actions have allowed connection. I have even tried connecting to my phone via a mobile hotspot, but exactly the same, does not accept password.All other devices have connected to the new router without any issue.Any advice before I throw it in the bin !Thanks

I have a One and One SL that stopped working at the exact same time. No power surges, limited use. Sonos will only support the one year warrantee even though the speakers were hardly used, I wonder what would cause these to fail in tandem?The mother ship was no help at all and this makes me consider any future purchases. After the app release screw up, inconvenience and suspicious failure, I would you be careful out there folks!

I have changed my home router and my existing Sonos one speakers cannot connect to WiFi. I have followed instructions for re-booting and re-factory setting but speakers will not connect. Any advice would be appreciated.

I cannot pair my speakers, just bought the Era 100, and returning because didn't like the size for my kitchen. Will possibly order the Play 2. Only thing is a neighbor gave me his old Sonos One’s same thing happened there. When i group them the sound goes off on both speakers. Worked with tech support, they tried a bunch of things none of which worked. i gave up. rebooted my home router 5x, on same network, unplugged my arc and plugged back in, so whats to do here? shouldn't be this difficult. tech support suggested i turn off DHCP on my router? lol, or put my router into bridge mode? im not pairing my router with another router?

Anyone experiencing a decrease in the bass of the system (in my case 2 Era 300 + Sub 4) after last update (updated yesterday October 16th). since this update, I am expericing a decrease in the overall bass of my system.

Hi everyoneI have problem with my stereo pair. I have 2x era100 and when i use it on Wi-Fi i haven’t any problem. When i connect by bluetooth my stereo pair to my PC or Phone, usually i see “device is connected”, but i can’t hear any sound. I change audio output to era100 on PC and Phone, but this still don’t work. I reset my system and add again to sonos app tree times - this didn’t help. I don’t know what to do. Please help mePS: Another devices like JBL Headphones worked prefectly on my PC and Phone by bluetooth protocol

My Sonos one microphone light won’t come on and mic won’t work 

I stitched to att AllFi router for my internet and now I cannot get the Sonos system speakers to connect to the net work I’ve gone through all of the steps several times and connected through the Ethernet but it’s notnworking. I have a speakers and all are in working order. Is there a security block issue?  thanks

Has anyone had issues with a sub gen 2? I disconnected it (was working).  I moved it to another room however when I connected to power in a new room the light did not turn on.  I cannot connect it to my system either. I tried resetting however the light does not work.  Did my Sub just die?

I have 3 Sonos play 1 speakers. all the same. Same lan network, same wifi connection, same Sonos system. Sonos OS: S2. Version 17.2.1 (Build 86.1-70070). Hardware version: 1.20.1.6.-1.2They are on the same subnet. Same Wifi SSID. All were purchased at the same time and used to work just fine. I can Airplay to one but not the other two. What am i missing?

I have just setup an arc ultra and have added my existing fives as surrounds…..my question is when I play Spotify, all speakers, arc and fives play music…..I don’t want that, I just want the music to come out of the fives

Recently got the Arc Ultra with 2 Era 300s for surrounds and a Sub Mini and just couldn't get the sound right, it was just off no matter how much I fiddled around.Not so much an issue for TV where there's hardly any Atmos stuff on offer anyway really, but a major issue for music as I listen to heaps of Atmos music via the Apple Music app.So I ran a Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 calibration track and wow, both the height and surround levels were *way* too loud with the volume sliders set to zero in the app. Like, quite ridiculously so. Sound from the height speakers was 2-3 times as loud as from the front with Height Volume set to zero. When I turned the sliders all the way to the *minimum* possible (minus 10 for height, minus 15 for surround) everything became much more balanced although the front surrounds are still a bit too loud. Listening to Atmos source material sounded so much better after that.Is this a known issue or is my Arc Ultra faulty? Hi everyone, I just wanted to be completely sure about this, otherwise I will likely return my speakers. I have 2 era 100's and a Beam Gen 2 in a bedroom. I bought these speakers so I could group them together and play the same audio from my TV through all speakers. I don't want to use them as surround sound. The era 100s have been cutting in and out when using the TV, but not if I play music through my phone via the Sonos app. The nice gentleman in Sonos chat said I'm unable to group with TV audio. Something about the beam having to sync and relay tv audio to the era's causes the drop outs. Is this correct? I've seen others here say they put speakers in separate rooms that play TV audio, so I'm just a bit confused. Thanks!

My speaker was connected and working fine a month ago, when I tried to use it again recently it wasn't letting me connect. I tried to go into settings but it was telling me I wasn't the system owner (I am and this is my only email connected to sonos)?I tried rebooting the speaker completely disconnecting it for 30 seconds etc etc so I could just connect it to a new system- which I did but now it's giving me an error (1067 NOT 1066) saying it can't update my speaker. I haven't found any details on this error or how to even begin to fix it. 

The problem with my Sonos Play:1 speaker is that it doesn’t perform a factory reset, it doesn’t connect through the Sonos app, and it doesn’t work when I try using an Ethernet cable. No matter what I do, it doesn’t respond or connect properly.

This is my last try to get my Sonos working,I got my Sonos many years ago when it was quite new. However it stopped working when i carried it over to a new outlet. Many reset, and hard reset try’s using the mute (and volume up)(also disconnecting the outlet en starting the process then plugging it in) I gave up.About a year later gave it another shot and miraculously turned on. Used it for about 6 moths and now got the same problem after reconnecting the outlet. I still have hope because it worked before after a while with the same problem. Is it a repairable issue? software? I hope someone has answers.

Hello, over the last month, the AirPlay group keeps ungrouping after every session when streaming from Pandora on my iPhone. I recently updated to IOS 26 so it may be related to this update or a recent Sonos update. Sounds like this is a known issue? Is there a fix (and not referring to restarting and unplugging the system - already done that).

I have an Amp, Beam, Sub mini and two Roam SL speakers. I am using sonos app on apple mobile with IOS 26.1 and the latest version of sonos app. I can only connect to the Amp via ethernet and cannot detect the rest Beam, Sub mini and two Roam SL. After powering off all devices and rebooting my router, I was able to connect to each speaker and add to the wifi network. But when trying to “Add speakers or Components”, the application does not find any of the speakers (Beam, Sub mini and two Roam SL).Any suggestions ?

I bought two Era 100s to use as a stereo pair. I swapped the speakers to different sides three times to ensure I made no mistake. The same speaker is softer than the other and vice versa. Is this worth bringing to support? Or is there a simpler resolve to this.

Ok I have a sonos playbar and can't get it working I can't hook my phone or my TV up to it..not sure what's going on my tv or phone can't even see it

When I want to use the line input (I have the A2D USB-C adapter) on my Era 300 to play my turntable or cassette deck, the speaker doesn't detect that I've switched from streaming and am now using the line input. It doesn't happen automatically. I have to manually unplug & reinsert the line in before the speaker switches over which is, tbh, incredibly annoying. Is there a way to switch sources over in the app? Or is there a voice command? I can't find an option anywhere which seems crazy. Having to reach around to the back of the speaker and fiddle with the 3.5mm jack is really frustrating. I can't believe there's not an easier way on an AUD$750.00 speaker. 

SONOS don't seem to care that their app is awful - I'm spoken to their tech guys and changed wifi settings, which has reduced range and functions on some other items - it's still awful. It's worked properly for maybe a month in total solid since I brought my system (2xEra 300, 1 x Era 100) last February. Given that it requires the app so heavily it is not fit for purpose under the consumer rights act in the UK and I'm going to be returning all of mine. Any suggestions on something is similar quality but less crap? I’m thinking BOSE. The SONOS sound quality is good, but it’s not worth it not working 90% of the time.
