I’m new to Sonos with an Era100 as a first move but I can’t work out how to play the numerous CD’s stored on my iphone to the Sonos speaker. Would appreciate any knowledgeable help.I don’t have any trouble playing from the stored apple music library via Bluetooth to my (old) car stereo using Siri voice commands and also no problem connecting to my wonderful (also old) Anker Soundcore portable speaker.i’ve searched the community files but so far only found 5 year old posts saying - tough, can’t be done. Perhaps these were pre Bluetooth on Sonos??Any tips?
It is frankly incredible how utterly crap the sonos app is. Even when it was working a couple of weeks ago it took minutes to get any of my sources to play and 10 sevonds even to change the volume (though the sound was great!). But now, when I wanted to use the speakers for something other than the TV, I started the app and it says no products found (even though I can see two products in front of me working with the tv) and "Go to system settings". (And what and where is my system by the way? I've only got speakers and a phone app). Pressing the system settings button takes me to "update network" and "set up a new system". The first doesn't apply as if I've not changed my router and the second, well I never had an old system as I've already pointed out. I've tried rebooting my phone. I'm going to try switching the speakers off and on.

I have a turntable (Rega Planar 1 Plus) connected by line-in to a Five with another Five as a stereo pair. Additionally I have an Arc, Sub, One, One SL, Beam, 3 Play 1s, Roam and Ikea Symfonisk in various rooms.I can group any or all of my other speakers without issue when streaming from Spotify but when I play vinyl through the Five then group other speakers, I experience annoying, intermittent drop-outs on my other speakers. The Fives play fine.I have reset the system (by unplugging all of the speakers then the router then rebooting the router then connecting the speakers) but the issue is persisting.It seems strange that there are no issues when streaming but when I play vinyl the sound keeps dropping in and out. I’ve tried playing Spotify on the Fives first then adding other speakers one at a time but all of the other speakers are fine with Spotify but suffer the same issue when playing vinyl.I have the facility to hard wire on of the Fives to a wifi extender by ethernet but not
Hi community. I am running an S2 system with slightly older and newer Sonos products. Sonos Arc Sonos Move 2 Sonos Port Sonos Play:1 Sonos Play:3If I group all of the newer Sonos devices (Arc, Move and Port) they work flawlessly. However as soon as I bring in one of the older (compatible with S2) devices (Play:1 and/or Play:3) the system, stops. I get an indication it is working, but no sound. Sometimes it does work, but more often it doesn’t. If I just group the Play:1 and Play:3 they also work perfectly, it is just as soon as I introduce either a different generation product into the mix it becomes unstable. All updated to latest available versions, etc. Anyone else experienced this, and have a fix. I operate the oder devices in my bedroom and bathroom and love the idea of coming downstairs and music to continue on the new devices located there. I have older devices running on S1, but these are separate - although do exist on the same network - I only mention this to be entirely op
I just had to reset my router, and now none of my Sonos products in my entire house are connected. In The Sonos App it asks me to update my network settings. I go through the prompts and click the first product that’s found (one of my Arcs). But it says it cannot connect as “there was a problem”. The amount of times this happens is ridiculous for such an expensive product. I would say my system works flawlessly only about 25% of the time. I’ve had nothing but headaches!! Someone, please help to get my system up, and reliable for once and for all! Thanks.
Recently, my Sonos one SL has not been able to play music from my phone using AirPlay. AirPlay shows up as an option to stream music, but it crashes after six or seven seconds of attempting to play. I can play music through the Sonos app, and it seems to access my Apple Music with no trouble. The only strange issue there is that some of the playlists, which come from Apple rather than have been created by me, don’t show up. Other AirPlay devices on the network work fine. I have re-set up the speaker through the Sonos app, and I’ve power cycled it.any thoughts as to what to do next?
Hi, I recently bought an Era 300. I tested the Airplay feature from my Windows Desktop with the Itunes app, and from my Pixel with AirMusic. At first, it worked and I could listen music on the ERA 300, but since a few days it does not work anymore. I factory reseted the Era 300 and it still does not work. The Airplay connection seems to work as I can select the Sonos speaker from Itunes, but there is no sound coming out. Has anyone else had this problem?
I’ve noticed the last few months that my Sonos system is lagging big time. I press pause or skip and it can take a full minute before the system will respond and actually pause or skip the song. It also no longer displays the song playing on my Lock Screen. I’ve tried re-starting the system, but that hasn’t helped. Also, my Wifi signal is very strong. Any ideas?
I have 2 play 3s set up as a stereo pair with a gen 2 sub (grouped as “office”). When I play music directly to the play 3s they work fine. If I add groups from the play 3s it works. If I start music in another group and try to add the play 3s (office), only the sub works. Have tried deleting and re-adding several times, firmware is up to date. Using Eero router with a mesh node in the office. System is set up via wifi.

I had « vibration » sound.I opened the Sonos and I found at the back of it this little thing was not fixed anymore (compare to my other one Sonos). That’s why I had this « vibration sound ». I fixed it with some glue but I don’t think it’s the best solution. I would like to buy this little piece but I don’t know the name of it. And where to find it? AliExpress?Thanks!
Is anyone else having issues having to unplug/ reboot there entire system every time you use Sonos mine too the set is echoing a speeker is behind, after unplugging it and restarting it it’s fine for about a half hour then same issue, tried having music through the whole house for holding gatherings and it was cutting in and out making silence very awkward. I was just ready to order another set with there holiday sale but decided not to purchase anything else from them. Sad I really use to like this system.

I’m a long time user and am totally disappointed and disgusted with the latest app version. To make it even worse, I changed ISP network provider yesterday and I cannot connect or even add the Wi-Fi address in my listing. Seriously! People change service providers all the time and to have a fundamental system change like this so difficult is beyond me. To try and do all these “MacGyver” maneuvers to make a system Work is ridiculous.Someone said to reset my system is not the answer I was looking for. I still have a playlist and a library that I can’t connect to my current system. This overrated company and the platform is just killing me! What a way to enter the new year with a broken and expensive music system. Thanks for nothing.
The software is impossible for me to understand. I tried to add this new speaker to the Group of whatever it is supposed to be. I just want to listen to music and not spend hours navigating crap software. I think I have spent more time messing around with the app than I have listened to the actual speakers play sound. How hard can it be to simplify the software. I just returned a pair of era 100s to costco. I bought them in December 2024 and was unable to pair them. They showed up in the app as Optimo1’s. yep. The box said Era 100, and the label on the bottom. The build quality seemed inferior to my Ones. Have no idea why they would only show as “Optimo 1” In the app, other than guessing that they were originally built as Optimo and then re-labeled for sale as Era100? Was super disappointed, and, glad the return was so easy. And I'm going to stay very happy with Ones. Anyone else experienced this?
I’m playing via line out into an Era 100 grouped with a One SL. The speakers consistently fall out of sync or fail to remember being paired after pressing apply on the app. I’m playing vinyl records and every time I change side, I have to reset the speakers on the app. Nothing gets remembered and it’s completely frustrating. Any help appreciated!
I have two Play 3 (Gen 1) and two Play 1 (Gen 1) speakers. I tried connecting everything at my new home in Medellin Colombia and the Play 1 speakers connected perfectly. The Play 3 speakers won’t. I tried the factory reset, ethernet connection to the modem, unplugging, everything….. Play 3s are simply NOT CONNECTING. They worked perfectly at my home in Houston recently
Hi,having a complete nightmare, setup a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with no problem attached via HDMI on a Samsung TV. All works fine on its own controlling tv and channels, sounds good. however i cant add my 2 older Sonos Play:1 as surrounds, what am i doing wrong?just cant get the beam to find them or link up?

I’ve had two Sonos sl 1 speakers for about two years and I’ve hardly ever had them both working.I have one in the kitchen and the other one in the living room. I constantly have to sort out one by doing a reset I’ve also rang up someone at Sonos who got both working for a while. Now if I get say the kitchen going the living room one stops working it seems I can only have one at a time working could someone help please. I want to subscribe to apple music and get a roam but won’t until I get this sorted.RegardsBruce
I have a Beam and 2 Sonos Ones all on S2 app. When I try to add sub mini it keeps saying that the system has been added but may not appear... But it never appears. Have reset the mini and tried to add it on multiple times via phone and tablet but no joy. Any idea how I can add it?
Have had a sonos system for close to 10 years, never had an issue until this new app upgrade. I can connect the Sonos Move and Roam without any issue. Everytime I open the app they are there. As for the 3 off Play 1, Play 3 and the Playbar. I am now well sick to the back teeth of the system finding the speakers after I have reset them then sometimes they connect and then just disappear. For the first time this very evening, and trying to connect the Playbar, it does the same procedure, after a reset, the system finds the Playbar, it connects and finally joins to the network, all good, it then it tries to an update and for the first time I get an error message which says that the speaker is connected but wont show as the update as not worked and until the playbar is updated it wont connect.No idea now how to resolve this issue. I am hoping it is a simple fix and that this will help with the other speakers connecting.
