I have 7 speakers and a Port, with two Play:1 stereo pairs. Sometimes one half of one of the pairs will fall out of sync when I’ve got all of them grouped. I read that it could be a communication issue and it might help to change the channel to 1, 6, or 11, but I have an eero router and it won’t allow me to change (or even see) channels. I’m curious what the diagnostic shows, and if there’s anything else I could try. The number is 833655845.
Hello,I read, in a Era 300 review, that Trueplay is not yet optimized for 2.0 or 2.1 configurations. Do you know if the problem has been resolved in the meantime? Thanks
Are any of the new speakers compatible to pair with the playbar soundbar?
Hey Sonos EVERY TIME I upgrade my speakers software the system stops working and I have to spend an hour getting it to work. I disabled automatic upgrades in the app but that results in you disabling certain features (truetune) until I upgrade and again waste an hour getting your system to work. Is this even legal ??? I am not the only one unhappy with this ham-fisted approach to software upgrades judging by several community posts. I tried different advices like static IP addresses but the issue persists. I paid good money for your speakers and I expected better from you. Let me control my speakers.
I cannot get my One SL to show in the app. I’ve followed the instructions a few times but after it joins my network I get a message saying it may not show in system and to unplug and finish set in the app. But I am not getting anywhere with this. Anyone got any tips?
Since the latest software update to 15.10, when I instruct my Playbase to play Line In from my Port it plays for about ¼ second, then cuts out. Then I can’t connect to the Playbase for a few minutes and the status turns to disconnected. Then It’ll suddenly play again for ¼ second, disappear from the network… repeat.I can play Port without issues on every other speaker on my system, and Playbase will play other services (Spotify, MixCloud etc) just fine. Both Port and Playbase are connected via WiFi and are in the same room.
When ever I add a sub mini to my one/onesl stereo pair. I loose the stereo pair and one of the pair doesn’t play.
Is it possible to add non-Sonos speakers to my IPad via the headphone jack and have them all play??I have a set of Bose computer speakers that I want to add and play while the Sonos speakers are playing via WiFiThanks
Once you factory reset SONOS speaker, how do you remove from SONOS app S2Have factory reset SONOS speakers that I want to sell or give to family. Factory reset seems to have worked. Why are those factory reset speakers still showing on the SONOS S2 app for me?The factory reset speakers are showing as Not connecected and a spanner tool icon adjacent to each room/speaker. WHen you press on the icon it wants you to either reconnect the speaker (yes) or (not now)Is there a way to sort this, as the factory reset and removed speakers I want removed from the app, as have new SONOS speakers that I want to install and integrate in the rooms that I have factory reset and removed the old speakers from.Any help or info would be most appreciated, many thanks
I support tech for friends and over the years, have accumulated devices on my Sonos account that belong entirely to them in their houses. Now I need to move some players from my account to a new one that my friend will own. Other than a factory reset and re-adoption, is there a way to create a new account and move those devices over to it? I will have access to the new account - this is just a bit of bookkeeping and ownership.
I am fairly new to Sonos. Many years ago I bought a 2nd hand Gen 1 Play one but didnt get on with it.It failed to work well with Alexa and it got turned off and that was it.But fast forward a few years and I thought I should really make use of this and dug it out and used it on the S1 app. I liked the sound so much better than my Alexa’s A few years further on I bought an Era 300Wow is that good. But I had lots of problems with the apps originally as all of a sudden my S2 app would find my Play 1 and start playing stuff that I had not asked for. I think that has been cured now by software updates. But my S1 has been unused for 6 months or more and I would like to bring it back in to use Since all of this I also bought an Arc and when funds allow would love another Era 300 to make them in to my rear speakers. I have seen I can connect the Play 1 to the S2 app. That is great but shame the Play 5s you cannot as I have seen those being sold really cheaply. So is there anything I can do with
I have an original PlayBar that is hardwired to the net work. I’m using S2 as a controller. When I’m streaming music (Amazon or Spotify) it will intermittently disconnect. This happened initially when I was running the PlayBar on Wi-Fi and hoped that hard wiring it with it fix the issue. All other wireless speakers (newer than the Playbar) do not have this issue. I have re-authorized both Amazon and Spotify with out any luck. There is never any interruption in TV audio. I am using Eero Pro model 8010001 Wi-Fi router. I am guessing it’s the older Wi-Fi radio in the PlayBar? Any thoughts on fixing this issue?
We have 2 era 300 speakers in one room, with a dining and living area. So sometimes I would like to use the dining device as a solo device and sometimes I would like to have a stereo experience in the room. How can I easily switch between a stereo set and a solo set in one room?
What is the battery life on the Sonos One and Era 100?
With a stereo pair of ERA 100s, when I connect bluetooth to one speaker, only that speaker has sound, the other speaker of the pair has no sound. Tried it to both speakers of the pair, only the one that was the bluetooth connection has sound. And… when I try to stream radio channels afterwards, only the speaker that had not sound (non-bluetooth paired speaker) now has sound. I did a bluetooth disconnect and received confirmation tone before streaming radio.Tried unpairing and repairing, factory reset on speaker and system reset on the Android app, no change. If I power off and power on both the speakers, then finally I can have stereo sound with streaming radio after trying a bluetooth session.Submitted diagnostics:“Your confirmation number is: 557470626” Moderator edit: moved to new thread
I cannot understand why this keeps happening - if anyone can help, please do! I have the following set up: A BT Home Hub 2 connected by ethernet to a Netgear Orbi RBR350 Router. Two Play:1 speakers in a stereo pair, connected by ethernet to an unmanaged switch, which is connected by ethernet to a NetGear Orbi RBS350 Satellite, which is connected by ethernet to the Orbi Router. Both of these Play:1 speakers have WiFi turned off. I have a Play One connected by ethernet to a second Netgear Orbi RBS350 Satellite, which is connected by ethernet to the Orbi Router. This Play One also has the WiFi turned off. To all intents and purposes, there is no wireless communication at all for the Sonos products: they do not communicate with each other wirelessly, with the router or satellites wirelessly, or with the internet wirelessly. And yet, every ten of fifteen minutes (mostly with the stereo pair) one or more speakers will completely cut out and disappear from the Sonos app, sometimes for sever
This is really getting to me know it’s been on going for months, Whenever I play the 2 paired up kitchen speakers there’s a delay when using the volume and also when changing tracks, it only happened on my kitchen speakers.if I play my kitchen speakers with the playbar and use the volume the playbar works fine but there’s still a delay with the kitchen speakers. It makes no difference if I hardwire my connect which is the only one pretty near the router for sonosnet or I just use WiFi I have a play one upstairs which is the farthest from the router but that is perfect, it’s just the ones in the kitchen that this happens on. ive reset everything many times, unplugged, etc but stil a slow response on those speakers. They also relatively near the router too. So frustrating, Sonos problem or router problem god knows. I was convinced it was a poor quality Ethernet cable so I’ve just bought a better one but it’s made no difference at all 🤦🏼
Hi , I have followed instructions on iTunes but don’t seem to be able to pair my two Sonia one speakers to my new internet provider . Any help gratefully received . Thanks
I have never owned a Sonos speaker I have three areas kitchen \ dining the largest space - living room seperate and bedroom - want a simple enough setup to stream music off the phone too. can you pplease advise? thanks R
I have two Bluetooth audio transmitters which I use to transm an analog hifi system to my Sonos Era300 stereo pair. They are the generic M6 and RT-B6 transmitters. Everything used to work just fine until recently when any audio from them stopped being output by the Sonos speakers. These days the devices still connect just fine, the connection tone plays and the blue LED lights steadily and in the app it shows the device as being connected, there's just no sound at all.The Era300s still output audio from my mobile phones just fine when connected via BT. Also the audio from the transmitters comes through just fine when I connect them to other non-Sonos speakers. It seems to be an issue just between the audio transmitters and the Sonos speakers only.Has anyone else had this issue recently? Any fixes known for it?
I moved home last October to Devon. However, since I moved I cannot get my Sonos system to work at all. My system consists of a sound bar, 2 x play 1's and 2 x play 2's. I am of a certain age, meaning I am hopeless at anything tech related. I am also paralysed from the waist down and so struugle to get into tight spaces which is generally where the wires and connections are.I need help please, therefore, can anyone give me some help please?
Does anyone know if the popping sound with the base of the Sonos one will be solved? I read all the community messages but there is no solution. A replace seems not to fix the issue since I also had that and you guys too. Indeed, true play seems to increase it but still without it I have the issue when played base heavy songs. This is a nightmare because the sound of Sonos is amazing but they seem not to be able to fix this..
I have just added the sub mini to my system successfully with the message that it is connected and it is indeed working. The problem is that it is not showing up in my system. I have un plugged it as suggested by Sonos and plugged it back in several times. It continues to work but still won’t show up in my system.
Hi can I set up my play 3 speakers to work with an era 100?
Can i link just only one era 300 to a beam gen 2 or its only possible to connect a pair of it?
