she has two sonos ones can u add “not group” so mini sub - then press add two sonos ones so that the crosswire? kicks in with the mini sub actually engaging with the ones and not just grouping ..integrated not grouped..
My Sonos One S/L is crackling, clearly a bad build. Called Sonos, theyv’e offered me 30% off buying a new one (what an insult) but it’s out of warranty. Can anyone help with any DIY solution to try fix the rattle rather than throw it in the bin?I’m now worried about the other Sonos One, One Era, Beam and Roam that I also have will progressively fail the same way with no comeback.I regret these purchases, should have bought an established brand with history and longevity.
I’d like to suggest for a future enhancement to the Sonos Desktop App, some changes to the volume sliders. Unlike the Mobile App it does not show any numerical values and the sliders can be difficult to adjust using a mouse and there isn’t anything like a simple +/- button either. This would be helpful when trying to match multiple speakers to the same volume level or setting ceiling speakers at a different level than the TV connection. Also, this is probably unlikely, but if there would be a way to run the Desktop App through Windows Loudness Equalization that would be amazing, since Sonos has long claimed it is impossible to do loudness equalization and the “option” within the app (mobile and desktop) is useless.
Where can I purchase a Sonos One EU power cord as I am moving to Italy? Thank you
Hi Sonos,I have two ERA 100s and a roam in my living room, connected by bluetooth to my PC. Everytime I start or shut down my PC my speakers, naturally, connect or disconnect via bluetooth. Every time that happens my speakers play the sound-effect you might know. The issue is, that sound effect is VERY loud and there is no way to disable that or make it quieter. I usually go to bed about an hour after my partner. Imagine the thrills i get from my speakers blasting the flat at night when i shut down my PC. I find it frustrating that there is no way disabling this. I chose to spend money to adopt the SONOS ecosphere, but i get less flexibility I would have from cobbling together no-brand chinaware. Its funny. I am working in product management and am currently making sure my product does not impede the personal life of its users. A pity I dont get the same courtesy as a user. Please, Sonos, can we push this feature request a little further up the backlog? I would be fine having the cues
Bonjour j’ai supprimé mon ancienne adresse mail et je n’arrive pas à associer mon matériel avec ma nouvelle adresse mail
I just went to Google fiber. I'm trying to hook my system up the the new wifi. Does one of the components have to be permanently wired via Ethernet to the router or can I connect the play base , and two Sonos One speakers wirelessly to the new wifi. I've tried hooking each component via Ethernet to the router to try to get the system on the new wifi but when I disconnect the system disappears.
ive just purchased the sonos sub mini and the phone has detected the mini and says its getting the sub ready - its been “downloading” now for half a hour whats the normal rate of time it takes the phone the internet and the sub to be ready...any approximate times
Undrar om min äldre Symfonisk går att ansluta utan WIFI och i stället använda surf i mobiltelefonen ?
I have a sub 4 that’s paired with an arc ultra that keep losing connection. The sub will connect and play with the arc ultra for a couple of minutes then drop the connection. Sonos pointed fingers at my router, a Cisco RV340. I engaged Cisco support and they cannot find any reason to sell me a new router, as suggested by Sonos. Everything else in the house works fine on the same network. Is anyone else having an issue with the sub 4 staying connected? If so, what was the fix? Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Both of my moves willl not charge. Any suggestions
Often when connected to my sonos era 100 via Bluetooth and trying to play media, the media app will say it is playing but the speaker makes no sound. Sometimes turning the speaker off and on again will fix the issue. The speaker is not muted, and the phone and speaker are connected to the same wifi network. I can get the speaker to play a chime in the sonos app, so I don't believe it is a connection issue. This happens often enough that it's a real hassle. Anyone had this problem and successfully fixed it?
Hi all, I currently have a NJ house with following:Family Room : Arc, Sub Mini, 2- One SL for surroundKitchen : One (w/voice Control)MBR : BeamOffice: Play: 1addl: Move and Roam And a Chicago Apt with:Kitchen : In-Ceiling Speakers connected to Sonos Amp #1Living Rm : In-Ceiling Speaker connected to Sonos Amp #2 We are moving to Chicago Apt and I need to make sure I everything that moves can be set up there and working right. My Sonos App works flawlessly now as when I’m in NJ it works fine: When I connect to Chicago Wifi it works the two Amps fine.what is the correct process to disconnect sonos devices here in NJ, have them moved, and then set them up and connect them in Chicago? Thanks in advance, GT
I have bought in total 4 Symfonisks about a year ago. In theory they work fine but they have only seem to be getting worse in terms of music playback. My setup is only those symfonisks. I have one (symf1) hardwired to ethernet as it is close to the router. I don't have a very big house and it is all one floor, the furthest 1 symfonisk is, is at about 12 m (symf4, with direct line 4 walls in between. Furthermore, another one is in the bedroom at about 8 m with 2 walls inbetween both the symf1 as well as the router. I have tried also removing the ethernet (symf1) and rebooting all symfs but this didn't not help.I also tried putting all of them on 2.4GHz.They have switches over to Sonosnet a couple of times but it seems that they dont always keep that configuration. My wifi is really stable and high speed with low latency. All devices stay connected and have 0 issues with video calls. Also manual pinging shows consistently low values (<10ms with most of them 1-2ms). The issues I am getti
What is the point of offering an update when it ALWAYS fails. I’ve tried on and off to update over the last 2 years and never successful. I’ve tried rebooting, unplugging, attaching LAN, nothing ever works. In fact, it almost always messes the whole system up and I have to spend hours getting everything set-up again. Great speakers, but god damn, It’s been a decade and Sonos still can’t figure the bugs out?
I have 6 Sonos Play Speakers and 1 player that I have had probably 8-9 years. I recently moved. They all work except 1 and I can’t get the system to find it. What should I do?
I have moved with my play 1 and can’t get it to work on my new WiFi if anyone has any suggestions. It was previously connected to my dad’s soundbar so I am currently using an Ethernet cable to connect to my new WiFi. It is bro by recognised on the app but the app says it needs updating but then can’t seem to connect to actually update. I’ve tried resetting but it won’t turn green just stays stuck on orange. Any help is appreciated.
Does anyone know why the Sonos Beam Gen.2 seems to consume data with very high bandwidth peaks? I have a Ubiquiti Unifi network at home, the network manager is reporting >2Gbps transfer peaks to my Beam 2 when in idle (i.e. no ongoing sound output from HDMI or WiFi) however the reported 24hr average data consumption is ‘only’ 250MB
I am having connectivity problems with some of my speakers. Does Sonos boost can really make a difference? Is there people who resolved these type of issues with boost?
When I press the bluetooth button on the top back of the Era 300 speakers, they do nothing, no sound, no blue light. My Era 300’s are already setup with WiFi and work fine, but I am trying to connect them to my bluetooth on my Iphone, and am having no luck. Any help is appreciated.
I am trying to update my 6 units (all S1) and now for the last 15 min I am stucked with the “updating” “getting started...” “do NOT unplug anything during this 2-3 minute update” Units are blinking white and orange for the last 15 minutes. How long should I wait? Can I stop it?
Hi there, this is kind of a follow up to:Although I’m not the OP of that thread, and I’m well aware this is a known issue with no ETA at the moment, I’d like to share some info/discrepancies that I’ve seen from similar threads as well as to tell my own experience with the hope of narrowing down this issue as much as possible and perhaps help the engineering team find a fix or workaround sooner.I’m not going to copy and paste all the other links here. It’s really easy to find them by just googling “sonos beam 2 metallic robotic sound”. You’ll find several threads in both this forum and reddit. Some are even about 4 years old.The reported issue is the same, the beam produces some annoying metallic/robotic, like out of phase sound that is particularly noticeable with certain background sounds like crowds or waterfalls. This video makes it easy to detect: But you have to play it over HDMI through the TV, if you do it via Airplay or bluetooth the issue doesn’t occur, which is something that
Hi guys!I’m tryingto finalise installation of my ERA100 into a new system. The step after the PIN identification shows me to push the forward or backward buttons on the top of the speaker while the lamp on the front shines white and green.Unfortunately, when trying to push any of the above buttons nothing happens and the installation can’t be completed. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
I’m afraid to ask, but I suppose I must.I upgraded my router. I set up the Wifi settings to be the same. SSID, password, etc. Amazingly everything is coming back nicely, except for my many, many Sonos speakers. Why can’t they just reconnect? It seems to want me to go through some kind of setup. This would be hellish because I have the following: Sonos Arc, subwoofer, two surrounds Sonos Beam, subwoofer, two surrounds. Sonos Ray, two surrounds Sonos Ray, two surrounds 4 Sonos One SLs in other less listened to places.Yes, that’s 17 speakers. How do I get them to reconnect without a burning hell of resetting everything? Thanks.
